Probably one of the best services at Panda that I've had in awhile. We came at 10:17am, they don't open until 10:30am and the workers were amazing. They asked what entree we were going to order so they can get started on it. We walked around pavilions for 10 minutes and when we came back, they were bagging our food. We sat down to eat, and totally forgot teriyaki sauce for our rice and chow mein but the first bite of chow mein, it was so flavorful it didn't need teriyaki sauce! read more

I just used my Grub Hub coups and 'their service' was amazing!! (5 starts for Grub Hub!) Unfortunately, Panda Express, in Yorba Linda, would get negative stars if possible. I ordered the family package (3 entrees and sides) and picked Orange Chicken, Mushroom Chicken, and Beef Teriyaki. The sides were fine, it was the Mushroom Chicken and Beef that was disgusting! I think they use only the fattiest part of where ever the 'meat' came from. Nothing but fat, it was so gross! I can't tell you how many times I bit into a huge gob of fat or gristle and then had to pull it out of my mouth! I hate doing that. So, not sure where PE is cutting corners but, STOP before you run out of customers. And by the sound of the other reviews, it won't be long! read more

I hate going to this Panda Express. They normally only have a small portion of the dishes filled with any food. If you want something not ready, you have to wait 10 to 15 minutes to get it. And they always look at you like you're putting them out by asking them to cook the food that should already be there. read more

I thought it would be a good idea to pick up dinner from Panda Express, so I stopped by after getting some groceries in Vons. Ordered the large plate of broccoli beef with rice, it cost a little bit more than $12. When I opened the to go box at home, there were giant florets of broccoli and two tiny pieces of beef. WHERE'S THE BEEF??? There were about $2 worth of ingredients in the box. Nice profit for them, but they just lost a customer. Very disappointed. Panda Express has always been one of our favorite places to grab a quick bite of fast food which is not burger, chicken sandwich, sub, or the likes. It is particularly great if you want a hot meal. And let's be real - this is Americanized Chinese fast food, so please do not even bother to compare it with authentic Chinese food. It's literally comparing apples with oranges. The orange chicken is one of my favorites. It's prepared almost like the authentic Chinese way of making sweet and sour pork. The coating is thin, then crust is crispy and the meat inside is soft and moist. I also like their various chicken breast dishes, such as the string beans chicken and the sweet fire chicken breasts. Both dishes are flavorful; the sweet fire is hot and spicy but not overwhelmingly so. Another one of my favorites is the Thai lemon grass chicken although this entrée is not available in every store. It was not available at this location tonight. Their quality has always been consistent; service is fast and friendly; prices are reasonable and portions are large. Nice quick meal tonight. I just purchased a 3 item combo plate today from Panda Express . Now this Panda Express is located in Pavilions. It is next to the produce department. In my combo, I chose white rice and chow mein; orange chicken, broccoli beef and spitfire chicken. Absolutely, none of my food was edible. The white rice was cold and old. The noodles were old and dried out. The orange chicken had been refried to give an appearance of fresh. The spitfire chicken tasted pasted. Lastly, the broccoli beef was mushy. The beef was over cooked and broccoli basically disintegrated in one bite. It was not seasoned well. All the items were bland and old. I'm so disappointed because I've never experienced this before with Panda Express. The food stunk. The meat tasted like mystery meat. Chicken should taste like chicken and beef should taste like beef. Beware of this place. The quality and taste just aren't there. read more

"I never want to eat there again." - My boyfriend, 6/29/13 I threw out numerous options of places to get takeout from on Saturday night, but we could not agree on anything. We needed to go out and get some alcohol since we had friends coming over later on, so we decided to just check out Panda Express in Pavilions. One stop shop - dinner, beer & wine. I have been coming here since I was 10. It used to be really good, when I was little, when I was in high school, even up until a couple years ago. But it has really gone downhill and is super hit or miss now. Sometimes the food looks fresh, most of the time it looks like it has been sitting out for 12 hours. If they have a tiny amount of an item left, and it is obviously old, they never offer to make a fresh batch for you. They just give you whatever is there. The rice looked alright, but it was really dried out and hard. The chow mein was also very dry and lacking flavor. He didn't like his entree choices. My orange chicken was alright, honestly I think that is the best item there, and it also seems to be the only thing they are constantly making, so freshness is rarely an issue. I got a chicken egg roll and it was okay. I would like to say this place is A-OK, but it seems like most of the time all the food is old and gross. Inside the Pavillons grocery. I am glad my GPS got me lost because they ran out of chow mein and didn't want to make more so I just left after the lady behind the counter said we were hurting her feelings by not picking from the dried up food left over. It was about 45 minutes before closing time and all the food was dry from the heat lamps. The orange chicken looked gross and the fried rice looked all burnt on the edges; I don't know how fried rice can cook under heat lamps and warm water, but they managed to do it. I was bothered by the sheer customer disregard. You could see the cooks or employees took food just moments earlier and their food trays packaged up full of chow mein. Then you could see the cooks in the back cleaning up the pots and pans. They probably started closing up 1 hr before actual closing time. They were very friendly but didn't realize until I got home and realized the food was old and not freshly made. The service was quick and the staff was nice, plus the lady even rang up my other two grocery items so I could skip the lines that were up front. It's so disappointing that this is the only panda close to me. I'm pregnant and try to be the nicest person but these people have the food sitting there for hours and it's horrible. Went here for dinner last night. The lady working looked like she was about 90yrs old. Slow as hell. There were two workers just standing around with their thumb up their butts while there was 6-7 people in the waiting line just watching the old lady get food, print out the receipt, and work the cashier. The food looked like it was there forever. When I asked for new orange chicken the old lady said "it will take 30mins". Then I saw a new item called "chili shrimp" but they didn't even offer it. The employee picks up and try to promote something new ( he said it so fast i couldn't understand). i asked for a specific dish he said no we dont carry that. Rather than asking if there is anything else, he hangs the phone in my face. I called back and he picked up again. I asked for his name and he decided to put the phone down!!!.I waited for 5 minutes(hearing background noise). i hung up and trying calling back and now no one is picking up. So sad to see all these bad reviews and yet Panda still allows bad publicity from there franchiser. Not good 50min before closing & you can't cook anymore food. This is the 2nd time this has happened to me. The lady has no customer service what so ever she basically just shrugged her shoulders & there was no apologies for the lack of food it just seemed like it was more important to clean & get out of there.
