From the first phone call, I could tell they genuinely cared about doing quality work and taking care of their customers. They were always responsive, showed up when they said they would, and kept me informed throughout the entire project. Everything was fully permitted and done the right way. No shortcuts, no surprises, and no pressure. What I appreciated most was how they treated me. They took the time to answer my questions, explain things in a way I could understand, and make sure I was comfortable with every decision. As a homeowner, that meant a lot. During the initial walkthrough, Andrew, the owner, assured me that his team could handle all aspects of the electrical installation required for my project. On the day scheduled for installing the finish electrical, the job site atmosphere reminded me of the busy, overlapping work reminiscent of the old KB Home days--workers coordinating closely and efficiently to get the job done. This collaborative effort was evident throughout the project, and it was the most impactful aspect of the work I observed. While photographs may not fully capture the quality and dynamics of the work, my experience with HAVICAN CUSTOMS ELECTRIC was positive. If you are seeking an honest and down-to-earth electrician, I recommend reaching out to Andrew at HAVICAN CUSTOMS ELECTRIC.

Left a message over the holidays and they got back to me the next business day to schedule a visit. During the visit Robert was able to see what was described to him over the phone, checked my fuse box, confirmed that the work is possible and provided a quote that is satisfactory. I asked if he can perform the work then and there which he is able to accommodate the request. About an hour later the work is completed and he showed me what was done and provided me information such as what switch he connected to. No drywall repair or paint was needed. Would hire again for anything electrical.

Other companies either told me what I wanted wasn't doable or flaked on the scheduled appointment. I told Jody I needed a Tesla Wall Mounted into the garage. it was a complicated process because of old panels but the work around was to make a sub panel dedicated to the EV Charger. I asked if he can slide me in his busy schedule rather than waiting a week. He asked why I was in a hurry to get it done and I told him "I HATE CHARGING AT SUPER CHARGERS and I'm off on Thursday" .... Needless to say, Jody slid me in his schedule 2 days later instead on Thursday and got the job done in under an hour. I highly recommend Jody .

As a BOD member for the HOA, I had previous experience with Mario Castillo electric when we needed to do an upgrade to the electrcial panel at our home where they did an exceptional job. This time I was working with their commercial division and the excellence of service was no different. The communication, responsiveness and quality of work was excellent. There was one minor issue after hours and they had a service technician onsite within an hour. They worked very well coordinating with the individual tenants in each unit to gain access when needed. Their quote for this project was also competitive, and job was brought in on budget with no extra "surprises". I highly recommend this company for your electrical needs, big or small. Our HOA has picked Mario Castillo as the electrical vendor of choice for any work needed and we are looking into an ongoing maintenance contract with them as well.

Pricing is quite high compared to other quotes I received but very transparent and worth it. Took one star because of poor communication and lateness. They advertise working Saturdays and do some of the crews but according to their office, that is all a mistake and they only work M-F 9-4. That plus the crews showing up 2.5h late each time meant that I had to take more time off than anticipated for them to complete the work. But now I know and I will absolutely use them again.

I had hired him several times previously (all fantastic experiences) and so, although he didn't have the time, he helped me troubleshoot it. He quickly realized that the amount of power coming in to my house was no longer under control and instructed me what to do. When SCE came, the guy said that if it wasn't for Alex, my house could have burned down - or at minimum all my appliances would have burned out if it wasn't for him. Alex called ME several times to make sure we were OK afterward. He asked for NOTHING in return. (I didn't accept those terms.) I don't have enough words to thank him. The other places had more services included in their price too. My recommendation to anyone quote shopping for major electrical work, contact at least 2-3 other places and you'll see the price/scope of work differences as well. Alex was the estimator and I was expecting good things based on past reviews and didn't receive that at all. Not sure if it was because I told you this was my first home but the dishonesty in your pricing needs to be reassessed. With internet access and electrician feedback it's easy to tell that your quote was ridiculous. The suggested approach to the work wasn't great either, my home definitely doesn't need a sub panel in the house when I'm getting a main panel upgrade. The number of dedicated circuits recommended by you compared to general recommendations I've heard didn't match nor made sense with the high price you charged. 29-33k for 12 circuits and a main panel upgrade with an unneeded sub panel in the home to "save on wires used"? Really? The only positive thing I have to say is your customer service rep was kind.

We decided to have dimmers put into bedrooms that we had been wanting to do since we moved into our house 4 years ago. We had worked with New Light Electric twice before and knew they were the team for the job. We reached out and Danielle (director of operations) was awesome in her communication (using texts which I love). She scheduled José to come to perform the quote. José arrived a little early and was attentive as we walked through what we wanted. He asked questions to ensure he understood. He also set expectations at to some things that might not be able to be done. A few days later we received a clear quote. I called Danielle and we got an appointment booked, for the next day with Danny. This morning, Danny arrived on time and we walked through everything again. He also advised that some things might not be able to be done and he won't be sure until he opened things up. Danny quickly got to work and was efficient and meticulous (in a VERY good way). He asked to review things that were not in the norm (we have a very quirky house), gave me options and honored my choices. One of the items in the dining room entailed additional equipment and time and he advised me of the charge before getting to work so I had the option to decline. I did approve and he continued to complete the work. Once Danny was done, I did a walkthrough and everything was done to perfection. Danny made sure he was neat and left no dust/debris behind. I will continue to work with New Light Electric for all of our future electricity needs.
