First of all, AMAZING job! We hired him to not only install a fan, but to run the wiring as there was no outlet in the celing. He showed up on time and did beyond quality work. Now, he is not a drywall guy(My brother does all that), the pictures I am posting are for the fan. But he went above and beyond to get the drywall back up and to be ready to go. I had an insane stud layout and he didn't seem phased at all. Had every tool he needed. Minimal supervision, trusted him, and he was all around very personable. My tenant blew out one of the electrical outlet, causing it to burn. It didn't trip the circuit breaker because whatever they were plugging in must have been a loose connection on whatever that was plugged in there, .. a laptop. Then some of the other outlets went out that same wall because it tripped the breaker. A neighbor recommended a company they used once, so I called them up on a Saturday. He said he wouldn't be able to make it out until Monday anytime from 9am to 6pm! What a fool I've been. My tenant and I both waited for him all day Monday. But throughout the entire day, he never communicated or replied to my texts. But he just shows up at 5pm. So I decided to go down my next referral through Yelp and called Freddy around 4ish. He picked up right away and said he could be at the home soon. When I arrived, there were 2 electricians that showed up. Long story short, the first electrician left, and Freddy took over the job. Freddy was very efficient and honest. He patiently explained to us what needed to be done and how much it would cost. He saved me some money because the first electrician said the tenant did not use commonsense (lol!) and overused electricity that resulted in the burnt, and it needed to break the wall and rewire the panel.. Freddy said it wasn't necessary, and he showed me the wires on top is still in good condition. He installed a new outlet and closed the wires that were brittle on the bottom and put a faceplate on the bottom, and screwed it shut. He checked on the other outlets and also changed one in the kitchen that wasn't working. I highly recommend Freddy! His price is reasonable, and he's knowledgeable, honest, quick, and he communicates well with and won'tleave you hanging. We had a terrible electric emergency recently. Electricity was sparking in our kitchen like the aurora borealis, endangering my wife who was in the kitchen. Fire department came and could not identify the problem. They shut off the electricity and left us in the dark. Our furnace was out of service so it was a frigid night, and there we were, an elderly couple left in a dark house with no heat or light. Our son found Johns Electric on Yelp. We called and he agreed to come even though it was 8:30 on a Friday night and Long Beach was under a fog alert. Half an hour later Freddy arrived and found our problem: a wire from the toaster had been burned into two pieces and was arcing electric lightning bolts when it had power. He turned the power back on, tested all of the circuits, checked for burned wiring, and after an hour had everything working and safe. He warned us about the dangers of plugging too many things into multiple plug outlets or leaving electric cords too near a stove top. His is a 24 hour service. It is expensive but life-saving. He even gave us a $100 discount despite his drive though the thick fog. This is a first rate, competent emergency service by Freddy, a certified electrician. He was also an extremely nice person to deal with in a scary situation. We will use him again for any electrical need, such as adding safe outlets in our 1949 house. read more

I am having a tankless water heater installed and needed a plug to be expanded from two to four to accommodate my water softener (whose plug is so huge the black box takes two plugs), and the new tankless water heater plug.
