They are open Thursday-Sunday and the service is amazing! I'm a creature of habit, so my go to meal is the jerk chicken plate with rice and peas, Mac, and cabbage. Whew! I always order a side of the jerk sauce for $1.50. It's a small portion, but packs a tremendous punch. Runs about $22. The ambience is always nice. It's clean. The bathroom is small and usually clean. The Jamaican music is vibing and it's always cold in there. A great spot to cool off and eat in the summer months. Your order is made freshly so be prepared to wait about 25 mins for your order. Best thing is to call before you go. They always package it up like a to-go order, no matter if you're eating there or not. Pro Tip: place the order over the phone before arriving. Eat it there or take it home. If you have time and want to sit and vibe, pull up, order, grab a Jamaican soda and wait for your food to come out piping hot. No Red Stripe is served. I wish they did!

Crav'n Caribbean is located inside the City Kitch on Milner Drive. I've been here a few times and each time has been great. Personally, I think they provide adequate portions and who doesn't love a heavy plate. I have tried the oxtails, rice and peas, jerk short ribs, collards, cabbage, and Mac and Cheese. Everything was very flavorful and the jerk sauce and seasoning is great. It's a sweet heat but not too much that you can't enjoy it. I find they were very easy to order through. Just check out their Instagram page which houses a link to order from. I love that the wait time is as outlined and each time, my food was ready and hot. It's very hard to find good Caribbean food and this one is worth trying. Price wise, they are fair so don't get alarmed. They are very big portions. They do have an oxtail steak and cheese that's priced at $30. I may give it a try next time. I'll keep you all posted if I do lol.

The crust was perfect, and the filling was flavorful and authentic. I found the Jamaican Conch Fritters to be a bit overcooked, with an unexpected sweetness. The Sweet taste was okay..... It was just overcooked. Most disappointingly was the Ackee and Saltfish plate. The consistency was overly mushy, the inclusion of large cherry tomatoes was unexpected, and the cabbage was undercooked. Sidenote.....the rice and plantains were enjoyable. While I will not be ordering the Ackee and Saltfish again, I would give them a second try and order something else. #GratuityAdded #GreensboroEats #GreensboroJamaicanSpots #DaReggeSpot #GreensboroPlacestotry

Is such a clean, aesthetically pleasing food hall with plenty of seating. They were pretty busy on this Sunday afternoon. Their customer service is awesome. Thank you to the person that was taking my order, you have the patience of a saint, thank you for letting me stumble through what I wanted to order. I ordered the four whole wings entree with Mac and cheese and candied yams sides and the Baked Turkey wing with rice entree with Mac and cheese and collard greens. Each entree came with sweet potato cornbread. The boxes were ample. My only regret with the turkey wing is that there were not two of them. That turkey wing was juicy and flavorful! The collard greens had a little too much sugar for my liking but the mac and cheese had a good cheese ratio but needed a bit more seasoning. And I like the fact that they bottled red koolaid for one of their drinks, yes I had it, yes it was good. Not too sweet but just the perfect amount of sugar to balance the flavor. I am going to return for another one of those turkey wings entrees! I've already spread word of mouth around Greensboro about this restaurant!

My daughter specifically wanted to try this…read moreplace for Memorial Day, and I truly wanted this to be a great experience for her and for our family. The concept is cute, and the Jamaican-inspired branding and vibe have potential. Unfortunately, the actual experience was disappointing. We ordered two rolling cheesesteaks, mac & cheese, a jerk chicken combo (after being told they didn't have enough shrimp for the original order and asking us to substitute), plus drinks. The first issue was pricing. Our total came to almost $60, and the math didn't seem right based on the posted pricing. When I asked for a receipt and questioned the charge, getting the pricing corrected became far more difficult than it should have been before I finally received an $8 adjustment. That alone left a bad impression. Another concern was cleanliness. While waiting, I personally noticed and photographed visible buildup/staining in the food holding/display areas, which did not create a clean or appetizing impression. As for the food: The rolling cheesesteaks were decent, but very greasy. The mac & cheese was extremely underwhelming. My husband, daughter, and I all agreed it was greasy and lacked the flavor and quality we expected. The jerk chicken combo was also very oily/greasy. Drinks were ok. For nearly $60, this was simply not the quality or experience we expected. What makes this especially disappointing is that we truly wanted to enjoy this place and support it. Sometimes trying somewhere new works out, and sometimes it doesn't. Unfortunately, this was one of those times.
