Chicken was super salty, beans were undercooked and hard, didnt give us the cake we ordered or the extra cup of sauce we paid for.

I then asked what do people order most and she answered that question. The beef patty was delicious! Wish I would have ordered one of each type. The curry goat had lots of flavor. The escovitch snapper was over cooked. The veggies on top were spicy and deliciously seasoned. The fish didn't have much flavor outside of the veggies on top of it. Great Jamaican food! I'll definitely be back!

I recently ordered from Da Reggae Spot in Greensboro. Here is my 2cents…read more The barbecue jerk wings were excellent, with a smoky flavor and spicy glaze. The beef patties were also delicious. The crust was perfect, and the filling was flavorful and authentic. I found the Jamaican Conch Fritters to be a bit overcooked, with an unexpected sweetness. The Sweet taste was okay..... It was just overcooked. Most disappointingly was the Ackee and Saltfish plate. The consistency was overly mushy, the inclusion of large cherry tomatoes was unexpected, and the cabbage was undercooked. Sidenote.....the rice and plantains were enjoyable. While I will not be ordering the Ackee and Saltfish again, I would give them a second try and order something else. #GratuityAdded #GreensboroEats #GreensboroJamaicanSpots #DaReggeSpot #GreensboroPlacestotry

We ordered two rolling cheesesteaks, mac & cheese, a jerk chicken combo (after being told they didn't have enough shrimp for the original order and asking us to substitute), plus drinks. The biggest issue was pricing. Our total came to almost $60, and the math didn't seem right based on posted pricing. When I asked for a receipt and questioned the charge, resolving the discrepancy became unnecessarily difficult before I finally received an $8 correction. That alone left a bad impression. Another concern was cleanliness. While waiting, I personally noticed and photographed visible buildup/staining in the food holding/display areas, which did not create a clean or appetizing impression. As for the food: The rolling cheesesteaks were decent but very greasy. The mac & cheese was underwhelming. The jerk chicken combo was also extremely oily/greasy. Drinks were ok. For the amount spent, the food quality and overall experience simply did not justify the cost. Cute concept, but major improvements are needed in pricing transparency, cleanliness, and consistency.

Is such a clean, aesthetically pleasing food hall with plenty of seating. They were pretty busy on this Sunday afternoon. Their customer service is awesome. Thank you to the person that was taking my order, you have the patience of a saint, thank you for letting me stumble through what I wanted to order. I ordered the four whole wings entree with Mac and cheese and candied yams sides and the Baked Turkey wing with rice entree with Mac and cheese and collard greens. Each entree came with sweet potato cornbread. The boxes were ample. My only regret with the turkey wing is that there were not two of them. That turkey wing was juicy and flavorful! The collard greens had a little too much sugar for my liking but the mac and cheese had a good cheese ratio but needed a bit more seasoning. And I like the fact that they bottled red koolaid for one of their drinks, yes I had it, yes it was good. Not too sweet but just the perfect amount of sugar to balance the flavor. I am going to return for another one of those turkey wings entrees! I've already spread word of mouth around Greensboro about this restaurant!

My husband, daughter, and I all agreed it was greasy and lacked the flavor and quality we expected. The jerk chicken combo was also very oily/greasy. Drinks were ok. I went to this place because I've seen it on TikTok decided to try it out. Looked at the reviews they all were good. $25 I paid for this dinner just to have mostly bones and small pieces of gravy meat. No whole oxtail at all. Don't get me wrong with the flavors were definitely there but it's just lacks meat. I also got a Jamaican patty with cocoa bread. Customer service was good. I was just disappointed in the quality of the food.
