Vuori may have fine products but as far as customer service is concerned, their company is out to lunch. If you try to contact them via email you get a messsage "we are all working from home but will get back to you within a day or two". It has been 5 days and there has been no communication from this company. read more

DISAPPOINTED. My boyfriend and I are local to Encinitas and love supporting local business. We also love athletic wear, so we were excited to check out Vuori. We were disappointed to learn that the customer service was terrible. There was a young girl at the front desk who ignored us completely. Even when we were checking out she did not say a word to us and continued having a conversation with another man who worked there. Seems like Vuori is way too cool and can't be bothered to be friendly to their customers. We will not be going back. Too bad because the clothing is actually great. You may want to talk to your employees about customer service. read more

Typically not a fan of this whole "activewear" trend, but Vuori is the real deal. They hit the fine line between clothing that is hi-performance, but looks cool enough to wear on the daily. In fact, the rest of my shorts have been collecting dust since I scored my Vuoris. Perfect fit & so comfortable it feels like you're naked... seriously. Couldn't be better for SoCal weather. Props on the boardshorts, too... they have pockets so you can actually wear them around town. Gym/jog/hike/board/yoga & just kicking it shorts would be a better description. Recently scored some pants, too. Same as the shorts, been wearing them non-stop. Tapered fit works well for tall, skinny guys like me. Sad to see one star reviews, there are always going to be some knots to untangle in a start up, did you try calling them and speaking with someone? In my experiences everyone is more than happy to help. Everyone knows the men's line is on point. But I love the women's shorts and new sports bras. The yoga pants are so soft. And the JOGGERS! I came into this shop while just walking down the 101 with a friend. We walked in becuase of the cool art on the walls and discovered the cool clothes they had! I got myself some mint-green and chocolate brown board shorts and a hat. I wear the shorts to the beach and to do yoga. They are comfortable and durable. I am a local. I just went in today for a specific item I have been pondering for a while. I was planning on walking out with the item. The store is dimly lit and not well organized. Instead of rifling through the clothing on the racks and in piles which might have made a mess, I thought I would ask the sales woman for the item. I waited in line at the cash because it was not apparent who works there and who does not. Not a smile to me. Not a comment. She produced a pair from the back. Great. Fit is alright. Came out of the changing room. Waited again in line (they were semi busy, I didn't need attention and was very ok with waiting). Asked for another size which she again produced from the back. This size was a bit better. I was interested in purchasing but the whole experience was off for me at this point. I even thanked her and wished her a happy holiday. Still not a word. Not sure what I did to make this interaction go badly but I would not return and will not even purchase what I want online. I see where others have rated highly but commented on rude staff, even over a year ago. Nothing has changed. I would whole heartedly agree. read more

Got my joggers today and was blown away. I never leave reviews unless I am doing a friend a favor. I cannot get over how great the fabric is on these joggers, how well they fit and the fact that they are made with an eye toward sustainability/environment is great. I love the trail shorts, but the grommets where the strings go in came out and the string came out. When ask if I could send them back to them to fix, the declined saying I should take them to where I bought them even though it was two months ago. Similar clothing companies of this price and quality will repair and most will replace the shorts. So if you buy a pair, buy directly with them, because they want you to return back to the original place. I am not traveling 45 minutes to an hour to return one pair of shorts. It's a shame, because I love the shorts and wanted to purchase more clothing, but afraid to do that now based off the customer service. read more

I read about this brand in a local San Diego magazine. I was really excited to check it out for various reasons. I went in today. The salesperson was talking to a customer who had already checked out. I would say I was in the store (the only other person) for at least 10 minutes. I was looking at both men's and women's styles and was actually excited to talk about the clothing and brand, ask some questions, etc...It was clear I was being ignored so I went as close as I could to the counter for kicks and giggles. The clothing is amazing so I was both enjoying checking it out while also trying to see if the guy would ever acknowledge that I was in the store. Nothing. As I headed for the door, still nothing. No thanks for coming in. No have a good day. Nothing. The brand story is great. The website is great. The retail location(s) are great. The Instagram is great. They are doing everything right except the most important part-implementing their mission statement-Investment in Happiness. I left there pissed off. read more

Called into Vuori today to see the hours of operation, I was politely informed about their hours and found out I wasn't able to make it to the store in time. Without skipping a beat, a phenomenal young man by the name of Andrew went far above and beyond the status quo to not only help me but make this experience unparalleled to any other retail store I've ever been too! Without his help I wasn't sure what I would've been able to do, however with his assistance I couldn't have been more satisfied and grateful to know what kind of quality people there are to take care of someone like me. 10/10 experience, recommend to any and everyone, will be a lifetime customer, completely overjoyed! They're the lululemon of men's wear. The clothing is on the pricier side, but it's well worth it. The ripstop pants are super comfortable, durable, and look great. Slowly converting my whole closet to their gear! Keep up the good work guys! read more

The clothing is a bit expensive, but nice quality, super soft and cute fit. My only issue is with the store staff themselves. They seem to prefer to give their attention to Male clients for some reason as I visited twice and observed how although plenty of women came in, the girl staff only attended men. It was kind of weird for me to witness, but I had to walk in the changing room without help and as soon as I walked out, they showed two guys to the fitting rooms lol. Even when I made the purchase (cause frankly, I loved the pants), no personality or character to the cashier clerk at all. My recommendation? Buy online, sizes run a bit bigger in my opinion for women, and has some give. Super cute clothes, and better sales online too. Their mesh sweaters were on sale in store, while mesh joggers were not. Online, the eggplant colored mesh joggers were on sale! I always think my motivation to buy in store is for personal help, recommendations and conversation with salespeople. If my amazing Vuori shorts end up tearing at the seams like a reviewer below stated his did, I will be devastated! I'm like all of you - when I tried these shorts on I fell in love with how comfortable and light they are. Seriously so comfortable like you're wearing apparel hand woven from the elvish people of Lothlorien. I had to give them 4 stars instead of five though because I needed a size smaller and emailed them in advance telling them that I was heading to Mexico in 9 days - they actually responded very quickly and courteously unlike some of the other reviews say, so I know they are upping their game with that. She said they would "do their best" to get the right size back to me in time.... Maybe my expectations were too high when I got the confirmation that my return had been accepted Wednesday, because the new shorts didn't ship until Friday morning. No urgency whatsoever because I'm sure no one was informed that I needed them shipped quick other than the girl I was emailing. Any way I'm bummed I don't get to wear them in Mexico but I'll be stoked when I get back! Seriously love the shorts and hope they last forever. read more

Absolutely love this store and their clothes, not to mention the people who work there. I'd especially like to thank Matt for being so helpful and patient with my girlfriend and I, who frequent the store often. Their clothes are durable, while being stylish and very comfortable. I also believe the quality has gotten much better as well. I only mention this because a year ago we bought some T-shirts there that didn't hold up so well, but they were more than happy for us to return them and give us ones that have held up over time. A great new clothing line focusing on active wear for the surf and yoga community. After shopping at Lulu Lemon for the past few years I was excited to try something new by visiting Vuori's old shop down the road from where they are now. Not only was the staff extremely nice and helpful, they took the time to explain Vuori's awesome local background that makes buying this line so much better. The My favorite purchases are the gym style shorts and light tees because the amount of stretch and durability. Super comfy! I LOVE MY VUORI CLOTHES! The clothes are all made of like algae or something and they're stretchy and breathable. I want to live my my vuori clothes forever because i feel like i'm not wearing anything, and as a guy, clothes like this are hard to find. The style is beachy/fitness, but they have sweaters, pants and tshirts that are good for any style. Also, the girl at the front was cool too and gave me a discount! 10/10 will come back. read more
