She really takes her time to make sure I'm happy with the length of all pieces, especially my face framing curtain bangs. She got my hair back in shape after another salon ruined my cut. So thankful I found her, and that she got me back to feeling like myself :) As far as color goes, she is a hair painting wizard - seriously, she is very talented! I typically do partial highlights, toner on the roots, and if she decides it needs something extra I trust her (ex: extra blonding on the ends). I'm blonde but particular about the shade, and she nailed it from day 1. Plus, no harsh lines here - she knows how to give you a very soft grow-out. If you are blonde and looking for a new stylist, she is incredible and one you can trust! Besides all the hair stuff, she is such a sweetheart! My appointments are between 4 to 5 hours, and it's always so fun chatting with her. She is incredibly professional and just a blast to be around. I clearly requested a slanted, vertical side cut with the front length touching my chin, and suggested trimming only about 1 cm. What I left with was a nightmare--my hair chopped drastically short, front above my jawline, sides straight, and nothing like the photos. When I pointed this out, she casually said it would "look like the pictures in 8 weeks." I was shocked and humiliated. During the haircut, she even told me twice not to cross my legs--something I've never experienced at any salon. I asked to switch stylists, and was told I'd have to pay extra, even though the issue was not my fault. Ruby then claimed that because I agreed to a graduation in the back--which she suggested--she had to ignore my other requests. I cried in my car on the way home, devastated. $160+tax for a ruined haircut and a traumatizing experience. I can only hope no one else has to go through this. Without exaggeration, this was the worst salon experience of my life.
