Mercedes is extremely professional and respectful of the Covid laws and helping her clients feel comfortable while she works her magic on their hair. I was traveling through Austin on business and desperately needed my color done for an important zoom call. I was a little apprehensive about booking an appointment with a new salon...given the current health concerns regarding Corona Virus. After reaching out to one of my local colleagues, I was referred to Mercedes at bandit salon. What a hidden gem this place is! It's a small boutique salon with only two stylists. There is no waiting area, only one in at a time, no street traffic and no front desk. The two stylists are on opposite sides of the room as well. It was like having your own private studio all to yourself. Masks are required and they had hand sanitizer upon entering. They also had a covered parking garage which was A total plus. Mercedes did an excellent job matching my color and took great care of me. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Austin! read more

I came in wanting a certain hairstyle and she showed me how we could tweak that style to look best on me. She will also teach you how to make your hair look great. Any good stylist can make your hair look good but it's another thing to teach a customer how to make it. Look great on their own. She doesn't push any products or services on your either.
