Tammy and co. are super professional and attentive to all details of the straightening process. The process itself is long (~4 hours) but they help make the time go by with their efficiency! I was also able to get complimentary coffee, water, and chocolate throughout my session to stay awake. After my session, I was gifted with a holiday cup with treats! Instead of listening and working to resolve the issue, Marsha seized the opportunity to correct me about the kind of salon she operates, which felt condescending and unnecessary, especially considering our long-standing customer relationship. It was particularly frustrating to hear her claim that her salon only uses quality polish, which contradicted the fact that she uses an inferior product. Her tone was dismissive and borderline insulting. I expected fair treatment for a service that failed almost immediately. Instead, Marsha suggested that my nails were in poor condition. I explained that I'm new to using gel products, and even her technician had remarked that my nails were in good shape, suggesting I could continue using gel polish for several months. Then, I should consider taking a break between services to let my nails rest. Unfortunately, instead of addressing the issue, Marsha chose to hang up on me. However, my last visit with new stylist Belle left me with complete shock and disappointment. We clearly did not have same idea of color, but I also ended up with a refresh butterfly cut with terribly uneven layers all around my hair, and hair around my face chopped back to my ears because she wanted to remove weight. It was also extremely texturized leaving holes through out my hair. I for sure had damage but walked out with even more somehow, and didn't even realize how bad because she didn't do the included styling at the end (realized at home this cut was impossible to style!). They offered a corrective service which I appreciated after spending $400, and knowing it's a small business. Salon owner was nice but ultimately the color was still off (explicitly asked for a shadow root but just had lots of chaotic bleach), and cut hair was already cut and too far gone to blend apparently. Senior stylist who was correcting also continuously yanked my hair in the bowl, saying she had to in order to get the toner on everything. Super painful and I don't even have a sensitive head. Didn't realize how bad and uneven it still was all around until getting another corrective service at another salon recently. Such an uncomfortable experience overall and definitely not the salon for me. Hope others have a better experience or go to Wheelhouse ATX who has been nothing but kind, professional, and very skilled at handling a very messy correction
