My mechanic says they cross-threaded my oil plug and it might cost me thousands of dollars…read more I spent 45 minutes at this valvoline yesterday with them trying to upsell me on everything. At the end I thought they were gonna say they were done, instead they come back and tell me they messed up my oil plug, the oil is now leaking, and they can't even change my oil. They said I need to go to a mechanic and they can't fix it. I asked to speak to the manager, and he was polite about it, but made it sound like it was my truck's fault and not their's. He told me my oil pan was rusted and that's why the plug broke, and I would need a mechanic to replace the oil pan immediately as it was actively leaking oil. I took it to a mechanic that I trust and have used a bunch before, he and a 2nd mechanic both looked at it and said the oil pan is fine and not rusted at all, and their mechanics "cross-threaded" the plug, which means they put it in crooked and messed up the threading, and that's why it's leaking. Now the threads of my oil pan are unusable, so they have to try to re-thread the pan. But they said valvoline might have broken it completely. So I might have to replace the oil pan after all. What was supposed to be a 15 minute oil change turned into a few days of no vehicle, hours of my time, and who knows how much money it will cost me in the end.

Brought my lifted Duramax into Glendale Lube Center for an oil change and fuel filter replacement…read moreand immediately realized my truck was probably the smallest ego in the parking lot. Most shops see this thing pull up and suddenly everybody disappears to 'lunch,' but not here. Maria and Cesar handled it like absolute veterans. Maria was at the front desk looking so good I almost forgot why I came in there in the first place. Customer service was flawless she had the whole place running smoother than my truck after the service. Meanwhile Cesar looked like the final boss of diesel mechanics. Dude walked up to the truck like he'd wrestled lifted suspensions in hand-to-hand combat before breakfast. I'm pretty sure at one point they needed FAA clearance to work underneath my truck, but somehow they got the oil change and fuel filter done fast, clean, and without launching a socket into orbit. Truck came back running perfect, no leaks, no problems, and no 'check engine light surprise package' two miles later. Honestly Glendale Lube Center feels less like a lube shop and more like a Fast & Furious side quest. Great people, great vibes, and solid work. Maria and Cesar definitely made the experience legendary.

Well I will never go back to Jiffy Lube!! As soon as I pulled up to Glendale Lube I was greeted by a gentleman to park and asked if I was there for an oil change and he said it would be about 15 min. Wait. He wasn't lying either. Two cars in front of me and they got them finished in 15 min. They called me to pull my van up and Maria was so kind and said they'd get everything done in 15 min. I couldn't believe how fast they were. So professional and kind. I was even able to bring my own oil and filter and they just did the work. The charge was way less than I'm used to. So I will definitely be back and I will tell everyone to come here to get their oil changed.

I have a '18 Chevy Volt, with an EGR service code reading from an OBD reader. Dave was kind, direct, honest, said it's a common issue with Volts, was confident and gave a reasonable diagnostic quote $150. But I appreciated his professional demeanor and of course, his time. If you're in the area, check him out for your PHEV vehicle. Nice to know I have another option!

They truly are the most honest, hard-working and fair shop I've ever worked with. Truly went above and beyond to make sure my a/c and electric was working like new. However, this was never mentioned during the original oil change and was not posted anywhere. The original invoice specified that they would provide top off service for up to 3k miles since last service, up to 2 quarts. When I showed this to the manager, he went inside on his computer for about 8 minutes. He came back and said that he would still not honor the Top Off agreement. He then showed me a brand new printed invoice showing I received a top off previously for 2 quarts. But he would not allow me to see the activity log for the system he printed this from. This is a crucial point because my last recorded visit was on 08-25-25, the date of my last oil change. So I believe he edited a last visit to reflect an inaccurate amount. I would like for someone working for Jiffy Lube to reach out regarding this incident, and honor their original agreement.
