Tried the Fish Taco's since it's only for a month. They were highly over peppered with a hard chewy Tortilla wrap which was a shame as the slaw was fresh and the pineapple was good. The Shrimp Taco had tiny dried up pre-frozen Shrimp with a sweet sickly sauce and again chewy old Torilla. Queso sauce was lackluster and gloppy. Pretty well an over priced experience for an impressive looking eatery at a Mall. read more

Tuesday afternoon and they are completely out of hot sauce? That is what makes Voodoo Taco. The Aksarben location is my favorite, still. read more

Meh... Nothing special at all!!! Nice staff. Avacado taco sucked but Baja was ok.... Unimpressed! But I'm from Cleveland Ohio where we have Barrio in comparison, which is no comparison to this place. read more

I absolutely love chicken taco's and I'm really picky! I have found my favorite place to go! The Chicken Fajita rice bowl was so "flippin fantastic" as was the guacamole! I had a wonderful experience! The manager set a great atmosphere! He got the whole place to sing to me for my 40th birthday! (I don't remember the manager's name, I had his card and lost it)! The staff was very accommodating to my dairy allergy! We were there around 1230 on 8/25/19! read more

This place is.... ¿como se dice?.... bad. The service is weak, the workers are constantly off task and cannot remember an order to save their life. At the same time they had got our order wrong so many times 3+. This place is not worth it if you are out at the outlets, its horrible. read more

Been here about a half dozen times and we always love it! I recommend the $8 M-F special two tacos and chips and salsa. I get the fried avocado and the barbacoa beef. read more

Ok I have been here for over 30 minutes. I do not have my food so I can't say anything about it. However, I will say that this a pathetic way to run a restaurant! The girl at the counter looks ABSOLUTELY miserable! She told us she'd be right back..... Meanwhile she left us standing at the counter for 14 minutes while she made chips and washed serving trays. Everyone working here is moving at a glacial speed and God forbid anyone ask a question and stump the employees. The dining area is filthy as well as the outside. I was tempted to leave when I saw the cook only wearing one glove but he was only working one handed anyways. Well our food has finally arrived and be it quite tasty, I would never pay these prices for the 6 bites of my barbacoa bowl. I will be contacting corporate over this failed experience that was to be my dinner. read more

Food is ok. Really hard to place an order. At least a few times, I've called and been left on hold for fifteen plus minutes.

Get yourself down to this location and have my man Charles hook you up with some great grub!! Thanks Charles!

Had an awesome experience at voodoo taco. Charles was amazing, never received such great customer service. The food was great. The staff is what will keep me coming back. read more

This restaurant isnt one of my favorites. Although it has a great eating environment and a beautiful restaurant, the food isnt very great. Soggy chips, runny and not-so-tasteful salsa. I havent tried a few other of their food items, meybe they will be better. read more

Great Baja tacos! Great service! Not from the area. Need one in KCMO! My only recommendation is that you change the margarita recipe. It was good, but you need to omit the Sprite. I would come back next time I'm in the area. read more

I was out with my family looking for a place to eat on my way back from a Nebraska game.... decided on voodoo taco. I was a little skeptical but when i got there our server (jade) was amazing. She recomened baja shrimp taco and it was to die for. Our service was spot on and jade brought us right into the voodoo family. I would recommend voodoo to anyone. Great experience and great service. 10/10 read more

Very good experience here. Tried the barbacoa beef bowl and it was delicious. The chips were also good, nice and crunchy with some spices on them. The staff were super friendly, and we got our food quickly. The building itself was clean and pleasant. My only regret is not trying this place sooner. read more

I'll start this by stating that I've never been to the original Voodoo Taco on 90th Fort. I've been meaning to try it but just haven't made it out that way. But since I love taco's and knew that the new location would increase my chances to check out Voodoo Taco, I was excited. I made the long drive from Bennington to Nebraska Crossing not specifically to try Voodoo Taco but I figured that I'd drop in for lunch since I was already there. The restaurant is in a standalone building on one end of the outlet mall. I walked in and noticed that there was one open table. The place is small but due to its location, I don't imagine they do a ton of business. I walked up to the counter and ordered the steak fajita taco along with an order of chips and queso. It took about 10 minutes before they called my name. Unfortunately for me, I didn't dig the flavors. The fajita beef tasted different than what I expected. I'm sure it was a result of the seasoning. I moved on to the chips and they were also seasoned. I wouldn't say it was bad but it wasn't that good. The best part of the meal was the queso which also had a different taste. All-in-all, I walked away from Voodoo Taco disappointed and I likely won't be back. I feel like they are trying to be better than they are but they just aren't hitting the mark. Perhaps others will like it more than I did. read more

Great tacos. Very much like Torchies tacos I'm familiar with from Denver. The only downside is that there are way, way too many flies.

This place is a joke. Slow service with a bad product. I ordered the fresh avocado taco which consisted of an ice cold under ripe avocado, ice cold veggies and no sauce. Literally tasted like it just came out of the fridge. I also ordered the fried chicken taco. It took 15 minutes to get because they had to fry the chicken fresh. Needless to say by the time it arrived it was barely warm and had zero flavor. Save your $15 and enjoy lunch somewhere else. read more

I give 1-star ratings to restaurants that I won't be going back to. Voodoo Taco sucks. I don't like to be mean, but it's true. I went here a long time ago and had a tasty fried avocado taco that I thought was delicious. I don't know what happened...because now that avocado taco is not fried, it's just a plain ole cold avocado, stuck in a cold tortilla, with cold cabbage, carrots, and "pico", which was really just diced tomatoes and like 2 specks of cilantro. I didn't taste onion, onion is also supposed to be in "pico". Anyways....my avo tacos were terrible and I was super sad because as a vegan, I really look forward to good vegan options at restaurants since it's hard to come by most of the time. I was with two others who ordered the chicken fajita taco, a chicken fried chicken taco, a mashed potato taco, a shrimp taco, and a steak fajita taco, all of which were either meh or "okay". Thanks but no thanks Voodoo! Maybe I'll add a photo later to show that I'm literally exaggerating this review 0%. One of my avo tacos is still in the bag because I don't want to eat it. The BlueSky soda is at least good. read more

I will never go back to Voodoo Taco. It was my first experience there and it will be my last. My boyfriend and I went in and ordered 3 tacos and chips and salsa. It took nearly 15 minutes for us to get our food. After 10 of the 15 minutes, a guy looked up at us, perplexed, and asked if we ordered. Ummm, yes, 10 minutes ago. To make matters worse, they were out of salsa. Absolutely terrible service!! read more

We normally love this place. Today we were very disappointed. We waited an hour for our food and they were not that busy. And my alligator taco was cold. The alligator seemed like it was pulled out of the cooler and brought to the table. Very upset about today considering it was what my wife wanted for Mother's day. read more

Mr. Charles was an absolutely fabulous part of our great experience at Voo Doo Tacos. From the moment we walked in he was courteous, fun and extraordinarily outgoing. We totally hit it off and I informed him it was my husband's birthday and he made the entire restaurant sing happy birthday to him which was awesome! The margaritas were first class and we had the Baja shrimp taco as well as the Barbacoa taco and they did not disappoint! We also tried the queso and chips as well as the refried beans and guacamole and all was fabulous. We love this place every time we come but Mr. Charles made it extra special read more

I was visiting my mom from Arizona and she brought me here... I regret it because now I am craving the green ghost pork, alligator, mahi, and pinheads... and we don't have anything like that here! Our wait time was exactly what I expected, anytime you have good quality food in a casual setting like this it takes a minute. PLEASE come to Arizona!!!! read more

Eh. Nothing super special and it's a bit pricey for the amount of food you receive. It's good food, but I wouldn't go out of my way.

I'm a big fan of fast casual dining (high quality and good value) and I might love tacos more than anyone. I lived in what is probably the taco capital of the world, Austin, TX, for 3 years. I wish I could say something positive about this place. I'd love to say "at least it's creative/innovative," but unfortunately, if you've ever been to Torchy's Tacos in Texas or Denver, you would realize Voodoo is a direct copy attempt. I would have gladly forgiven the forgery if the food had been even close to Torchy's as I miss it every day now that we don't live in Texas. But unfortunately, the tacos were small, shells were stale, and the guac tasted preserved and prepackaged from a grocery store. Not really creative, poor value, and not good food. Looks like I'm back to Taco Bell and Chipotle. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I forgot to mention that I did actually like the voodoo dust or whatever on the chips. But again, a direct copy of fuzzy dust from Fuzzy's taco. Also, pretty sure Dona sauce from Voodoo = Doña sauce from Taco Deli in Austin, TX. At least change the name guys. read more

I eat here every time I come to the outlet mall! The tacos are fresh and delicious! They are generous with the meat which makes it a great value! If you haven't checked it out you should! read more

This place is very overrated. As a college student almost everyone I know loves eating here, but it is okay at best. I have no problem spending money for good food, but the quality you receive along with the service is just mediocre. The meat is always tough and no part of it is authentic. Go to Mula. read more

Voodoo Taco was just ok. The carnitas and barbacoa tacos were acceptable, but not great. Chips were tasty, but a little bit stale. Queso was alright, but not great either. Suggestion: work on the queso to make it better, and offer a salsa bar! Will I go back? Probably not. Nebraska Crossing (outlet complex) needs a few more dining options. read more

No extra sauce for tacos? I've ate here before and it was very yummy. This time was told by server that the sauce was already mixed in the tacos and they didn't have extra sauces. Well guess what? My tacos were dry. Fail! read more

So much potential but not quite there! We ordered the Baja Shrimp taco, the Mahi Mahi taco, and the special Hawaiian Chicken taco. We started with the Baja Shrimp and were thoroughly disappointed. The balance of ingredients was off. Too much cheese and avacado, and it was slightly dry. The taco needed some type of tomato or salsa or something. Also as a warning the shrimp is breaded and fried. In my opinion the taste of the frier overpowered all other tastes in this taco. Gross. Next we had the Mahi Mahi. This taco was sooooo close! It was everything the Baja Shrimp wasn't; juicy, great balance of ingredients, grilled fish.... But it missed the mark with the seasoning on the fish. It was soooo salty I actually cringed while trying to eat it. My husband was able to tolerate the saltiness better, but it was unbearable for me. The last taco we had was the Hawaiian Chicken. Once again, so close! The flavors were all great but the meat was soggy. By the time we ate this taco my tortilla was practically falling apart due to all of the excess juices in the chicken. I feel like this place could be good, but for over $4 per taco it is not worth the drive, nor risk of a subpar taco, to frequent again. read more

These tacos are jammed packed. 2 would be enough for most people. I love spicy and my favorite is the ghost taco. It has quite the bite but such a great flavor. I just wish they had a corn tortilla option. read more

Extremely rude staff and sub-par low-portion tacos for the price. First off, the space is super small. They have some kind of stringent covid "guidelines" and you essentially wait while they make the entire meal for the person in front of you instead of letting them be seated and bring the food to them (lazy?). I stepped off the line and even though was 6 feet from folks waiting in front of me I was snapped at and saw another gentleman waiting 1/2 hour get kicked out. They refused to honor a coupon given by an organization hosting an event at the outlet malls and Anthony the manager was rude, unprofessional, and one of the most unbefitting managers I have ever dealt with. The food/tacos themselves were lacking in much volume and generally did not taste fresh. Meat was dry and definitely not worth it for the price. I would never recommend this restaurant. read more

I went in yesterday during my lunch. After looking at the Facebook page, saw the Taco of the month, sounded good. Went in and was told they don't have a taco of the month. Though it was posted SUNDAY on Facebook for that location. After that, I had asked for the lunch combo with the taco and chips offered M-F, and add a drink. No Taco of the month and was talked into a second taco. Yet never got any chips or salsa. I also got talked into a fried chicken taco with an extra topping. Let's start with the obvious of 2-3 day old over cooked queso. It was so quagulated it was gross. Plus the 2-3 three time fried chicken was awful. You couldn't even chew it. I have been there multiple time and just feel like I waste 14.00 on crap food. I recommend anyone to just go enjoy the other few places you can eat at in the mall. Also by looking in the kitchen in the opening towards the back, their food safety as I am serve safe qualified will make your gut hurt for days. I ate half a taco and chose to not risk it.... save your money. Choose something else. Sad thing I have to work at this mall daily with limited choices of food. read more

Slightly disappointed after visiting VooDoo Taco today. This was my favorite place to eat at Nebraska Crossings and it was the best VooDoo Taco location.... or so I thought. They cut the menu dramatically and took the fish tacos off the menu. I tried to use my pinpoint app for my free taco and the cashier couldn't figure it out so I did not receive my free taco. We received a small boat of chips to go with our giant cup of queso. We asked for more chips and they were nice enough to give us some. The bathrooms were untidy and had paper towel pieces on the floor which would have been acceptable had we not have been the first customers of the day. The forks were not stocked and the soda machine was out of quite a few things. On the plus side, they did add more indoor seating. Overall disappointed with the visit and food. read more

Quite disappointed with Voodoo Taco. It shouldn't take more than 45 minutes to get your food especially at a "fast food" restaurant.
