Grocery stores frequently take advantage of consumers through in store promotions similarity. Today I was purchasing Barilla pasta that has a 4 for sale plus a $1 off digital coupon. On the face, one would expect the '4 promo mix and match', but not the case here. You must buy sets of 4 at a time. The biggest miss representation is the $1 off digital coupon that ONLY applies to the set of 4 box's. Yes it's only $.25 off. I asked the self check-out service girl Sandra G how this promotion is very different and the $1 off is non specific on the tag. She states she doesn't have time to argue with me. I said having a little empathy would go a long way. Her response was "THEY DONT PAY ENOUGH TO HAVE EMPATHY".. WTH! Bad attitude needs to go .. there's many nice ppl wanting work to replace Sandra! I am writing this on YELP as I wait for the store manager to pick up my call. I told the customer service I have a consumer negative experience and it has now been 28 minutes on hold. Service people need to be retrained to learn it's the customer that is paying your check. What a joke !!

My wife and I stopped by this Vons today after grabbing lunch at a Mexican restaurant across the street. My wife needed some stuff to make her dish on Monday so it was convenient for us to come here. Finding parking was easily and the moment you walk inside the store, you'll see a starbucks. The produce area is right near when you enter and the store is pretty spacious inside. I walked to the meat and seafood area and they have some nice selections. The prices are the same with every other Vons store but the taxes are just cheaper in Simi Valley. We opted for paying at the cashier instead of the self checkout because there wasn't a lot of people in line. The lady working the cashier was very friendly and nice so we plan on coming back if we're near here.

Jacinto from the bakery department went above and beyond to fix a mistake one of his coworkers messaged up the day before! today is my sister in-laws birthday and we had ordered a cake yesterday for today, January 21, 2025(today) and he corrected the 8 inch round cake to a quarter half sheet cake, which is what we had originally asked for and did an amazing job in 10 minutes

I've been a long time shopper of Von's and we specifically drive across town because the store on Erringer and Cochran have such nice service people. We know many by their first names. My question is specifically directed at the Meat Department: Is it normal for the customer to trim so much fat off a tri-tip roast? As I was preparing it, there is always some fat to trim but this seems excessive. I will very much change my rating if this is normal; it really seems as if it was taken straight out of the box, put on shrink wrap, and priced. I'm not sure what exactly the butcher did here? Of course, the fat cap was hidden at the bottom of the package, unseen. Again, if this is a normal amount of fat for the customer to trim off, I will gladly repost as my mistake, alter or remove the feedback. Maybe there are other butchers out there who are nonaffiliated Von's butchers who could comment if this is standard industry practice. Thank you.

They probably don't read this or care about it. But this all comes down to who is managing the store no customer service went at 7:30 seafood guy said we close at 8pm and freezer was down when I literally watched him put stuff away he had glasses. Big dude. Guess he wanted to leave I'll update my review tomorrow because he said freezer was broken. Took a pic guess they fixed it overnight or a Miracle happened while I was asleep. I literally woke up went to the seafood section this morning to see this broken fridge aka cold fridge guess what it was working. Also one cashier slow as hell and don't buy fried or cooked items here look this is what I got for my chicken.

That level of customer service is rare these days and definitely deserves recognition. Assistant Manager Kim was especially amazing. She was energetic, vibrant, and incredibly kind. Even while she was clearly busy handling other responsibilities, she still took the time to personally direct me to the sandwich area and made sure I knew exactly where to go. Her attitude and professionalism truly made my visit memorable. The sandwich deli team was also outstanding -- fast, efficient, friendly, and professional. The deli area itself was immaculate, and the service was seamless despite how busy the store was. Overall, this was one of the best grocery store experiences I've had in a long time. I would absolutely recommend this Sprouts location to anyone in the area. Excellent customer service, a beautifully maintained store, and a team that genuinely cares about their customers.

They simply stand by while I balance a child in one arm and pack everything myself. Today, my wife had an equally frustrating experience. She was waiting in line at the hot-food counter with our son in her arms. When it was her turn, the staff ignored her while customers behind her called out their orders and were served. She repeatedly tried to get the employees' attention but was overlooked. At checkout, there were two employees working at the register. Once again, neither offered to help place her purchases into her bag, despite seeing that she was holding our child. This is not about expecting special treatment. It is about basic courtesy, awareness, and customer service--especially from a store that positions itself as a premium shopping experience. Erewhon should seriously review how employees at this location are hired, trained, and supervised. Basic etiquette and attentiveness should not be too much to expect. Very disappointing, Erewhon.
