This is the first time I've been inside an Albertsons that offers breakfast burrito burritos. To my surprise all the ingredients combined together sounded absolutely delicious so I had to give them a try. I am so glad that I did!!! I stopped by this Albertsons store today to get some fruits. The shopping center this grocery store is in has a lot of parking and the store is pretty spacious inside. There also a Starbucks stand in the store right when you walk in as well. The produce and deli area are on the right side of the store once you walk in. They have a self checkout and traditional cashier station as well. I found everything I was looking for here. If you're looking for the seafood then it's toward the back of the store. The store is very organized inside and clean so it's a win win here. read more

The new security system sucks, very inconvenient, people working there are great, have zero issues with them.

They need to get their act together at this dump. "Manager" is a complete clown, he thinks everyone who looks even slightly younger than him is a kid unworthy of respect, calling me 'dude' and 'bro' derisively and claiming I'll make him lose his job if he doesn't profile me (lol). Not trusting me with his precious alcohol that's locked up like I'm a criminal; trying to figure out which car belongs to everyone in the lot so he can leave saying things like "Which car is yours? The black one? What no car? You don't drive? Is something wrong with you??" Half of the employees are chill, the others obsessively scan the back of the ID when I'm clearly much older than 21 (and recognize me) when it's the store's cheapness to close all their checkout lanes early. Thus forcing anyone buying alcohol to beg at the self checkout lane. read more

If I could give Tina 10 stars, I would. My wife ordered sandwich platters for my mother's memorial services, and Tina made it all happen. Prices were very fair, and Tina made suggestions as to how much food to get to make sure everyone was fed. We also purchased a veggie platter and fruit platter, all of which were tasty and fresh. This experience was extremely dangerous and unacceptable. My boyfriend's Minoxidil prescription was filled with the wrong pills -- specifically Lisinopril H144, a blood pressure medication that could have caused serious health issues if taken. After taking them, he didn't feel himself, which now makes sense. To make matters worse, Linda, the pharmacist handling the meds originally was completely incompetent and disrespectful. I will be demanding a written incident report, contacting the State Board of Pharmacy, FDA MedWatch, and am consulting an attorney. Do not trust this pharmacy with your medications. Errors like this put people's health at serious risk!!!! read more

I don't think I got my 50% off for the clearance item that I purchased. Nothing was wrong with the product itself (box of holiday themed fruity pebbles). It seemed like they were just trying to get it off their shelves and out of the store by marking it down. It said on the cereal box sticker that the regular price was $2.47 and then the words Now 50% off under that and then a barcode under that. All of that was stamped on the orange sticker on top of the box so I assumed that I was getting 50% of $2.47 but when I went to self checkout, I never got the 50% off. I didn't realize until I had already finished paying, left the store and started eating so it felt like it was too late to do any returns or price corrections. I think maybe it was because I didn't scan the tiny orange sticker's barcode during checkout. I assumed that the bigger barcodes that get scanned first by the scanners would have whatever the smaller sticker says built into it. I'm honestly disappointed by their system and feel like they scammed me, charging me full price for an item they were trying to get rid of. There was no reason for me to know that I needed to scan the specific much smaller barcode to get the marked down price. Other places that I've worked at have the discounts built into any barcode on the product. The interior was clean and it felt like if I needed help, I could've easily asked. However, I used self checkout and didn't interact with any of the staff. There were quite a few self checkout stands which was nice because it seemed many were in use when we got there to checkout but there was still one leftover for us. My friends got arizona tea which had some buy four and pay $0.79 each sale instead of the dollar each usual price. They appeared to enjoy their drinks. You can't really go wrong with arizona tea after all. I checked out the price for the vegan yogurt and I remember thinking that I could find it for cheaper elsewhere so I did not purchase it. read more

Wonderful Floral Department! We were very happy with the flowers from Albertsons in Simi Valley for a 50th anniversary party at a restaurant near the store. We talked with Chase and Cherie (the department manager) to order 15 small arrangements for individual tables and 1 larger one for the head table. They worked within our budget and color and flower preferences to design the right look and create beautiful pieces for our party. On the day of the party, store employees delivered the flowers at the agreed-upon time and placed them on the tables. Cherie took great care to be sure that everything was just right for our big day. I'm so lucky to have found Albertsons so quickly after moving to the area. It's my favorite grocery store. It's clean, large, and has a great range of products that I need. I eat a very healthy diet and the produce department gets an A+. There are tons of organic options! If you need anything, Mauro is very friendly and attentive. If you do eat junk food, there are plenty of aisles to keep you happy, but if you're like me, don't write off Albertsons as a non-healthy store. I actually choose to shop here rather than at Whole Foods. There are meat alternatives, plant-based dairy products, organic produce, grass-fed beef, free-range eggs, you name it. And the prices are great, so you don't have to surrender your "Whole Paycheck". read more

The meat manager should not be in the position he's in..The meat department was always subpar and when staters came to town I always went there. When Dylan quit staters I followed him to Vons and then realized he was working at this store on madera. I truly thought they were gonna give him the position to run it unfortunately they gave it to a bearded gentleman who is a complete hot head. Stares at you like he's going to un alive your family and puts out some of the worst quality I've ever seen in a local meat counter. And when it's not brown it smells like a pair of gym socks. Not only is the meat expensive it's flat out horrible because it looks repacked. Then to top it off it looks like a 5 year old cut it. I came in a few times the last couple of weeks as I work on this side of Simi and the store it self has everything I need so I like to stop here but after what I saw yesterday I no longer will be buying meat or doing shopping here I'll go see what is at Vons or go to stater bros it's truly shameful I always liked the lady who do the seafood but I do not eat enough of it to come here for just that. read more

You don't see that very often anymore. It didn't seem forced, it seems like that's just who he is. Grocery store deli counters are always busy and there's always a wait... however Colton is the best deli worker ever at the Albertsons on Madera!! Even when busy he makes sure to work efficiently, gets everyone's orders correct and does it all with a smile and friendly conversation. read more

Man their cashier really hates his job! Got a personality like a door knob! He asked me if I wanted a bag. Granted the bags are only 10 cents I made a joke asking if I could get the bag half off. Admittedly, I'm not the grocery shopper in the family. Until Wegman's comes to SoCal (probably not ever going to happen!), I won't be very interested in this kind of marketing. Dear Hubby is retired, so he does the food shopping. The other night when Adored Grandson was with us, and Jamba Juice across the parking lot was closed, we walked over to Albertsons while Dear Hubby was ordering take out from Atlas Mediterranean. AG was in need of a protein drink after his football workout. We got him stocked up with Muscle Milk and a few other items. There were a number of items on sale in the sports drink aisle, which was helpful and timely. Shelves looked well stocked. I've been in the store a few times previously. One impression is that the front entrance is awkward. It feels cramped and restrictive, versus wide-open and welcoming. I think that space devoted to a Team Shop up front is an odd choice. I understand supermarkets want to squeeze as much revenue out of the public as possible, but I wouldn't think to head to one for a football jersey. Just sayin'. Strange to me. One day I'll have to really walk the store and form a more rounded impression. Until then, I wasn't bowled over with visual joy during my visit. read more

What is going on with the deli counter?? I went in to Albertsons at 5pm on 5/31/25 to get some lunch meat and they have signs reading "closed, please us another register". I left and did my other shopping hoping it was just closed because someone was dealing with something in the back or using the restroom. After being in the store for 45 mins I come back to the deli counter and there is still no one there. This is the 3rd time I have run into this issue. I asked a manager if there was someone to come and help and he flippantly said "they are probably on lunch". Ridiculous and u professional. I will stop relying on Albertsons for any deli products and take my business elsewhere because I can't risk the chance of showing up and not being able to be served. This will also take away the money I would have spent on my regular groceries so the store is loosing even more business. I would be hard pressed to assume other patrons are not doing the same as me. Joseph is a rude cashier. I was just there and he doesn't know how to use any technology. I just downloaded the Albertsons app and I asked him where do I go to scan my QR. He told he he doesn't do that. Then for some reason he kept canceling my transaction and told me that I was canceling it. I told him that I was waiting for the screen to clear so I could swipe my card and again he told me I cancelled the transaction. I didn't push any button and he just said he was t going to get into it with me. He was just trying to make me feel bad. Then when another attendant came to load my basket because I'm disabled Joseph acted differently. I've never posted like this about anybody but Joseph is a jerk. I'm going to Vons now. read more

I find this hilarious. I just purchased groceries at Albertsons, the same Albertsons that a couple weeks ago let a dude steal about $400 worth of liquor and walk out the store. I tried to stop him and told the manager that he was enabling this type of thing but the manager insisted I drop it as there was nothing he could do. Tonight after self checking out and the purchase of a 10c bag, I asked the attendant for the bag, he had the nerve to ask to look at my receipt to prove that I had payed the 10c for the bag. I said, so you have no problem with people just stealing from you but god forbid somebody tries to stealnan10c bag? What a joke! They should be giving all the honest paying customers free bags. This review is in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic and the stores seemingly zero new protocol to protect their employees or their customers. On three different occasions during the health department's order (in the past 10 days), I observed staff, checkers, bag people, and the bakery worker NOT wearing gloves or masks. Beware... these people are touching your food without gloves. Be sure to wipe down your purchases when you get home. Sadly, this is my neighborhood store but I'm going to find another store to shop at. If they can't do these simple things to protect their customers, can you imagine how dirty it is without a pandemic? read more

I literally love the staff at Albertson's! Always a great experience at this location. I must say NIGEL is such a breath of fresh air! Always smiling and making ppls day considering what's going on right now! My son always talks about him and hopes to see him when I drag him to the grocery store. When he does see him he always says "Hi Friend" and Nigel is always so friendly to him. Little things like that brightens ppls day! Great to know ppl still value giving great customer service. I'll never understand how every other grocery store in Simi Valley can be managed properly but everyone on the west side of town is stuck with this place. Nothing is ever staffed appropriately - plan on waiting 10-15 minutes at either the deli or the meat counter because management refuses to employee more than one individual at a time. read more

Why do they allow political petitioners at the entrance of the grocery store? The last two times I've been, I've had to be annoyed by someone asking me to sign something. There is a wonky fixture with 2024 calendars situated in the front of this store. The fixture toppled when we tried to turn it to view the assortment. One of the wheels is missing. Some genius replaced the wheel with a small log, making it a danger for everyone. Removing the hazardous fixture wasn't an option? This is my preferred grocery store. It is clean and well stocked. The deli has a good variety of meats, cheeses, and salads, and the deli employees are helpful. The fish/meat counter is kept clean and has a large selection to choose from. The prices are a bit high but they have a lot of sale items to choose from each week, and you no longer need a savings card to get the discounts. The floral department is very nice and I have ordered a few boutonnieres from here with great success and for very low prices compared to a florist. All of the checkers are friendly and make sure you have everything that you need. There is a Starbucks at the front of the store which is a plus. The parking lot is large and plentiful. read more

My friend Ashely is a new immigrant with poor English speaking. She went to Deli to order and showed Miranda who worked at Deli with details of product on phone. But Miranda refused to see, and just stepped back. She asked My friend to read it loud, and said she want to improve my friend's English skill. My friend used her broken English to try to say it out, and Miranda just kept saying she didn't understand. After 20 mins my friend spoke out with correct pronunciation, and Miranda passed her what she needed finally. So Albertsons started to teach people English for free in the store? Because Miranda was really care about the pronunciation of customer no matter how long it would take. By the way, standing there to hear only and getting pay eventually.
