Finally I decided 100% on the surround sound and was down to the LG OLED or the Sony OLED. I could write a long horrible story about customer service at both Bestbuy's and a couple other stores, but that would be a disservice to this Huppins review. Instead I will tell you that I had a wonderful experience from the minute my wife and I walked in Huppins. Greeted immediately and pointed in the direction of the two tvs we were looking for. After a few minutes the same gentleman that greeted us arrived and asked if we had questions. My wife asked about the difference in the two tvs. I was impressed with his descriptive answer and afterwards we felt the Sony would suit is best. At this point I know I'm buying from this man. I tell him all the components we want by Sonos to build our system and point out the TV. I give him the max amount we want to spend and he says not only do they price match, but they match the lowest prices on the internet and off he goes. After 15 minutes or so he comes back and is almost $600 under the number i gave him. Remember, I had done my research. I know this system was priced over $6000 and I was out the door under $4500. Super helpful, very patient and informative, first class treatment all the way. Older, shorter, gentleman with glasses. Can't miss him! I'm horrible with names. Thanks again Huppins!

One associate walked away HALFWAY through a question I had. Really? Kyle got me on my way and he is a 5 Star young man and employee. The store is beautiful , but very high-end customer centric. Miss the good old store. Mr. Huppin, patriarch and founder of our Jewish community would be...well. I am a firm believer in shopping and keeping my money local, but that has changed with this business. Huppin's, you are not all that and you sure aren't the only game in town. Wise up.

They set me up with a great motor that the big boss spent 45 minutes rewiring for 230 volt and when this old gem got the signal it hummed like a Swiss watch. They would not take it back because the box had to be undated also. I cut it up and recycled it. They told me I should have read my receipt more closely. They say it says no returns or exchanges without the box. This is true, it's in the fine print, save your boxes and ALL packaging. Be extremely careful unboxing. Or shop elsewhere. Samsung can't exchange, thy are out of stock. I got ripped off.

From the moment we walked in the front door people had smiles and they connected to customers as people walked in the door (for whatever reason in California connecting and smiling is not always the goal when it comes to service) The store has great selection and good sales. She says she'll need to verify the price but then says she can't leave the checkout and tells us her supervisor says the price it rang up as was correct. I go back & take a picture of the item and shelf because Patty basically just called me a liar & go to self checkout to see someone named Mia. Mia checks the item for us and sees that the price isn't matching up either and I show her the picture I took of the fully stocked shelf of the toy & price. Mia tells me that someone stocked the toy under the wrong tag and that the price is listed for an 'LOL' toy that isn't even there. She didn't honor her advertised price & I decide to take my business elsewhere after being treated poorly. This is where it gets bad. Jim, the appliance manager was amazing in trying to assist me with the process of ordering all items needed And was friendly. The problem came when I had a number of gift cards that apparently raised suspicion. I ended up having to go back home without my order after talking to the manager there that stated they had fraud happen before with E gift cards. And they gave me no option to use The e-card that I had on my computer to allow the purchase to go through. Everybody was very nice and cordial. I just feel bad for the short sidedness of management and or the policy to take or not take E gift cards. primarily because Jim lost out on a good size commission check with our order. I had to go home after realizing that they company that I received my E gift cards would not exchange for physical gift cards. So I placed the order online through an online service representative. That ended up taking me the better part of 2 1/2 hours because of all of the gift cards that I had to manually input. I'm only saying this because it's not like I look sketchy, they could've verified my gift cards by the time that I would've taken delivery of the appliances( 17 days away from now). I got people are Larry of getting scammed, but Best Buy got their money, but one of their very competent and helpful employees did not get a nice commission check from our order. I'll just say sorry Jim. Hopefully Best Buy in the valley will do the right thing and give him at least partial commission for an order that was probably worth a pretty good commission check for him.
