They would not take it back because the box had to be undated also. I cut it up and recycled it. They told me I should have read my receipt more closely. They say it says no returns or exchanges without the box. This is true, it's in the fine print, save your boxes and ALL packaging. Be extremely careful unboxing. Or shop elsewhere. Patty asks us what the item was priced at and we tell her $10. She then rolls her eyes and says "$10 ?" Like a 'yeah, okay' response. She says she'll need to verify the price but then says she can't leave the checkout and tells us her supervisor says the price it rang up as was correct. I go back & take a picture of the item and shelf because Patty basically just called me a liar & go to self checkout to see someone named Mia. Mia checks the item for us and sees that the price isn't matching up either and I show her the picture I took of the fully stocked shelf of the toy & price. Mia tells me that someone stocked the toy under the wrong tag and that the price is listed for an 'LOL' toy that isn't even there. She didn't honor her advertised price & I decide to take my business elsewhere after being treated poorly. I could've paid the difference for my child but I'd rather take my family & business elsewhere

This is where it gets bad. Jim, the appliance manager was amazing in trying to assist me with the process of ordering all items needed And was friendly. The problem came when I had a number of gift cards that apparently raised suspicion. I ended up having to go back home without my order after talking to the manager there that stated they had fraud happen before with E gift cards. And they gave me no option to use The e-card that I had on my computer to allow the purchase to go through. Everybody was very nice and cordial. I just feel bad for the short sidedness of management and or the policy to take or not take E gift cards. primarily because Jim lost out on a good size commission check with our order. I had to go home after realizing that they company that I received my E gift cards would not exchange for physical gift cards. So I placed the order online through an online service representative. That ended up taking me the better part of 2 1/2 hours because of all of the gift cards that I had to manually input. I'm only saying this because it's not like I look sketchy, they could've verified my gift cards by the time that I would've taken delivery of the appliances( 17 days away from now). I got people are Larry of getting scammed, but Best Buy got their money, but one of their very competent and helpful employees did not get a nice commission check from our order. I'll just say sorry Jim. Hopefully Best Buy in the valley will do the right thing and give him at least partial commission for an order that was probably worth a pretty good commission check for him.
