Was sold a defective standing desk; told to call product support to obtain the correct parts…read more Spent 40 minutes on the phone, parts no longer made, and my credit card payment couldn't be refunded because someone had "deleted the transaction" out of the system. Returned the desk to the store, was told since the order had been cancelled a refund had probably already occurred and to check my statement. I drove home and did so--no refund. I took photos of the statement and returned to the store; clerk wanted a printed statement. She called the manager, who said to do a refund "without receipt," so the money finally went back on my card. The manager said, in a couple of weeks, if a second refund appeared on the card, to "let us know. You know, be that person," implying that I might be dishonest. Given all that had happened, I found that attitude offensive--I fully intended to notify them if a refund appeared. In short, this store sells defective products, expects the customer to do all the legwork to set the situation right, and is rude in addition. I won't shop here again and suggest others don't either.

There's a huge parking lot and the store is pretty easy on/off from the freeway. If you don't want to spend any time in the store, you can always order online and then just zip into the pick spot to grab the item. Not quite curbside pick-up, but almost! I spent a total of FOUR HOURS. stretched across 2 days, going back-and-forth between Apple phone techs, the carrier, back to Apple, back to the carrier..... After a frustrating rant at the two, I was directed to the "Genius Bar" at the Apple Store in River Park Square. Well, thank GOD they did! I was impressed the moment I walked in. I was greeted, my appointment was in the system along with the long case log. They directed me to "Karen" who immediately was able to unlock and wipe the new phone to its factory settings. After some skillful diagnostics, she was able to determine the problem was in the restoration sequence from the old phone. From there she was able to revive the new phone and get it to working status. Yes, I would have to reinstall my apps again, but I don't care. They said they would order a "backup" phone in case this one dies again. But, I think it's going to be fine. Thanks to the team at the Genius Bar - especially Karen, who was patient, efficient and personable. My thanks, also, to the store manager (sorry, I didn't get his name) for his understanding and compassion. The store is bright and lively with plenty of helpful, knowledgeable staff moving about taking care of whoever walks in. If you ever have a need for service on any of your Apple devices, or you're looking for top drawer products and service, this is the place to go.

Extremely slow to get assistance even with a Genius appointment. Literally watched an employee…read morestand against a wall, zoning out, for several minutes. Then watched this same employee assist a customer who had zero appointment before again standing against the wall for several more minutes just spacing out. Finally, about 20-30 minutes later this same employee appeared to "snap out of it" and finally came over to assist me after I'd been sitting at the Genius Bar for 45 minutes. There was no one else being assisted at the bar and the store was not that busy. Not impressed with the support in this store. I gave this joker my laptop a month ago he said it would be done in a few weeks. I never heard anything from him. Finally decided to check in the store and see what was up the guy said he didn't know where the laptop was. Basically told me to get out and he'll find it. I call the store the next day he says he found it and it will be done today. I call back same day he says oh tomorrow. Basically he continued to BS me over and over until I finally went to the store and said I'm not leaving without my laptop. He said he didn't know where it was and that he had looked everywhere and couldn't find it. I started looking around the store and immediately found it haphazardly discarded on a shelf in his messy store. So basically he took my money 1 month ago, through the laptop on his shelf and never touched it again. Also he lost my charger so he gave me a random one he just found. Please don't give any business to this guy. He is a clown and a scammer. It's like an experiment where a homeless drug addict is given a computer store to run. Ridiculous.

Not knowing where to go, I tried Hughes Computer Services. I've worked with Janet, Al and Charles over the past week. My computer was really messed up and wasn't backing up to my external drive, even though it said it was. They restored my laptop and my key files. Not all my files were recoverable--I'm confident they would have recovered them if they could. They spent hours on my computer and on recovery efforts and kept me updated through the process. I have used Perfection 3 times prior to my recent visit and those times were excellent. But I am…read moreafraid NOT this time. I apparently had a SSD card go bad I was told at first it was a mechanical drive, I told them to go ahead and replace the bad card, I had three of them after all. When they got back to me later it was confirmed the SSD card went bad which was really bad because that card had the windows operating system on it. It was implied that all of my disk drives were bad and needed to be replaced I told them to do what was necessary. The SSD was replaced and they pulled both of my hard drives and added another SSD for no apparent reason because my mechanical drives were just fine, worse they were going to dispose of them without transferring my files!! I could have lost years of files for NO reason. I made them give me my drives (thankfully) because they saved nothing that was on my computer. When I got home and realized how bad it was (and still is windows 11 sucks) I reinstalled both drives yanked one of their replacements. Since then I have wasted 10 hours trying to restore my computer and my files. NOT happy!! I know from past experience that it will take 2 months to find and fix all of the bugs and have all of my files running again. Why in the Hell were my functional drive pulled and not synced up with the new SSD drive? I am frustrated and dreading the hours more work that lays ahead.
