Fixed what others could not! Had an old hard drive that others turned me away and they fixed it no problem and quickly!

It's been since 2004 when I built my last computer from scratch. So, I thought I'd do a quick RAM swap on two PC towers that were the same brand and close to the same model. That's where I went wrong, but where Mike at CDA Computer Repairs did right. These two towers are our primary systems. One has ALL of our pictures, that's over 20 years of memories. All of our kids pictures. Everything. So, it's imperative we get them running. Mike knew just what to do and jumped all over it. He had them done by the end of the day and was in contact with me for everything. He charges a very, very, competitive shop rate of $65 an hour, and even charges by the half hour which is something I've never seen a shop do. It's really great customer service! Something I admire, and is a "good to know" about how he runs his business, he is out of the door at closing. That's it. All calls go to voicemail and texts get read in the morning. Home is home and business is business. I admire that, a lot. Additionally, he takes recyclables. I dropped off an old Dell, and a network switch I had from my shop, and he took them in to refurbish. I'd rather see them go to his bottom line than see them in a land fill. read more

The previous reviews were back before they changed management. Now this place is a disaster. They completely destroyed my computer! Their tech didn't know what he was doing and fried it right in front of me. I couldn't believe my eyes. I made them purchase me a new computer which they did. I would have not written this review but when I asked for my old hard drive with ALL of my files and data they seemed to have lost it. Avoid this place at all costs. read more

Like the other reviews, my experience with CDA, specifically Daniel and Josh, has been excellent. A year or so ago I had a problem with my PC, an old Dell. All it is really used for is "holding" twenty years of pictures and playing World of Warcraft. After talking with Daniel I ended up with a refurbished Dell he had and paying far less than I anticipated. Fast forward almost a year, no issues at all with the PC, my son gives me a ridiculous high end gaming computer. I took it to Daniel to have all my "stuff" switched from the Dell to the new hot gaming computer. Done! I take it home and start to play and the darn thing shuts down. What the heck? I take it in and tell the guys what happened. They trouble shoot, think they figure it out and send me home. BAM! It happens again. Back to the shop. This time Daniel is not there, but Josh is. He keeps it for a few days trying to recreate the issue. He figures out the power supply thingy needs different cables. The fancy red ones weren't doing the job. He replaced the cables, and it has worked perfect! I trust these guys to find the problem, to fix it and not overcharge me. On another note, they are extremely likable guys. Since I have only given reviews for RESTAURANTS in the past, I am not sure how to start, sooo.... I had a major problem with my business server suddenly crashing. It is an OLD server, by computer standards... Like, about 8 or 9 years old which is basically a dinosaur, right? Michael, the owner and operator, immediately found time to deal with it. He is clearly knowledgable, and had a pretty good idea of what was wrong almost immediately. I run a law office, and he already understood the need for confidentiality, and the need for client privacy. Unfortunately, it took a couple of days, but when he gave it back to me, it looked like new. It booted up FAST, and it was humming, instead of whining! He even upgraded my anti-virus software! The best part? He only charged me $130 bucks! And I know for a FACT that he could have easily started mumbling computer jargon and hit me up for $1,000 and I would have paid it. $130 bucks, that's it??? WOW! Finally, an HONEST computer guy! He is now in my phone on speed dial under "Michael Computer Guy"!!! The amazing SERVICE is FIVE STARS all day long! The AMBIANCE of the shop is clean, professional and efficient. Another five stars! The PRICE is clearly five stars and in fact, with the money I saved, I can afford to give him SIX... But the food was TERRIBLE!!!!! :) read more

The long and the short of it is that if you're expecting people who actually know what they're doing and do it with a smile, then this is the right place. We have used them for issues which they solved without delay and will use them without question each and every time an issue having to do with our computers or printer comes up. This place is amazing. I tend to lag behind in updating technology...until I find someone I trust to say, it is time. We moved our office to a bigger building requiring serious networking with old and new (at least to me, I am sure it is simple to them). Yes, we had glitches, mostly our errors. Michael was patient and thorough and won my trust and respect day one. Needless to say many days followed and he never left until we were up and running. Michael is terrific: highly skilled, also courteous, professional, and engaging. My Sony Vaio from 2010 has new life after he installed a solid state drive and transferred the data from the old spinning drive.
