My very first car that I purchased over 20 years ago was a 1996 Passat. I drove that car until I couldn't drive it any longer. A few years ago, I visited Volkswagen Jackson while "just looking" around town for a car. I was greeted by Mrs. Caroline Snow. I told her what I was looking for and the price range I was interested in. SHE LISTENED! I had visited a few other car lots that day before making it to Volkswagen and the salesmen at the other dealerships DID NOT LISTEN and some just did not even seem concerned. Mrs. Snow understood EXACTLY what I wanted and showed me a Passat. I laughed at first because I didn't tell her I owned a Passat years ago. I thought I knew everything there was to know about a Passat. Oh was I wrong. She knew absolutely EVERYTHING there is to know about the cars on the lot. It did not take a long time test driving cars I did not want because she listened. I test drove my car and the rest is history. I love my new Passat and it is perfect for me. It is exactly what I told her I wanted....the price, the exterior and interior colors, rims, features, etc... My daughter has began looking for a college graduation car of her own. On yesterday, I took her directly to Mrs. Snow. Mrs. Snow leaves no questions unanswered and she makes sure that the customers are satisfied and have everything they are entitled to as a customer. I went to this dealership after I viewed their website and saw a 2016 VW Jetta w/ manual transmission. I'm a huge fan of stick shifts. As soon as I walked in, a salesperson, Brett, greeted me immediately. I told him exactly what I was looking for and that I wanted to test drive it. He went straight to grab the keys and in 2 minutes I was on the road testing it. I liked it a lot and told I was ready to buy it. We went into his office and about 30 minutes later after figuring out financing and paperwork, I was set and the car was in my name. Excellent service by these guys! Danielle had helped me finish and go through the paperwork, she laid everything out to me and made it plain so I understood, and answered every question that I had. Plus Brett contacted me the day after I left, by phone call and he even texted me later so that I had his information to contact him with any further questions and concerns. Ritchey Volkswagen really did an outstanding job. I truly felt that they were there for me and acted in my best interest and not their own. Customer service is top notch, A++. I highly recommend going there even if you're not interested in Jaguar, Range Rover, Volkswagen, or Audi just so that you can experience service that doesn't just raise the bar but sets the standard for all car dealerships. So if you have read my previous review you know that we had problems with an exposed wire on the bottom of our Tiguan getting torn apart and causing a low oil pressure warning. We recently had the same problem and this time we just took it to a local mechanic after the unprofessional way we were treated by Haywood before (please see previous rating). The local mechanic fixed it for $90 this time. Volkswagen charged us $350 the first time it happened. Our local mechanic also told us that there should be a skid plate on this vehicle to protect this area of the undercarriage. Undoubtedly it has never had one and/or the service manager (Haywood) doesn't know they exist because the first time this happened there was definitely no skid plate on the vehicle and they never mentioned it and didn't tell us we needed one. Up until this point, no other place has touched this vehicle but Volkswagen Jackson so either it came without a skid plate or they left it off after it's first service. Now that we know that we need one we have called the Service Dept and left messages but no one will call back to even discuss our issue. I just want to order one so that i can get my local mechanic to put it on but the service dept will not even bother to call back. As good as the sales person (Chad) was, we will never do business with this dealership again because the service dept is the worst I have ever experienced. read more

I've recently purchased two Volkswagens from this dealership in the past six months. I assure you, I wouldn't have purchased a second one if I hadn't been given first class treatment the first time! Micah Peacock did the legwork on my second purchase. He was super helpful in keeping me notified when a new car arrived/would arrive that I might be interested in purchasing. Micah is a genuinely good dude and doesn't come off aggressive or pushy like the stereotypical Sales Associate. He just let me know he was there for me if I needed anything or had any questions. He made a list of the features I wanted in the vehicle I was looking to purchase and he let me know when he found one. And when I had questions, he was there to answer them. On Friday March 20, 2020.. After window shopping for a new car for several months and not being able to decide what I really wanted I convinced my self that I would put my car buying process on hold for another month..however while sitting at work on this day I logged onto the website to inquire about a car I had seen as VW Jackson. I clicked the car for more information and to be sent to me in an email regard but instead a few minutes later I received a call from a wonderful lady by the name of Caroline Snow(salesperson).. She was so courteous and knowledgeable about the cars that I felt I could buy the car without even test driving it. Since then she has always treated me like a priority customer for any issue with my car whether it's new windshield wipers or touching up a small scratch. I wish I could put a thousand stars for everything Gary Silber at VW of Jackson did for me and my twin, soon to be 16 year old, daughters. I was referred to him by my BFF who raved about her experience the week before with Gary buying her daughter her first car. I had no idea how magical it would be! My survey in no way should put doubt or incompetence on Caroline Snow. Caroline Snow was a great sales rep and did everything in her power to help me. I'm upset with the finance manager I was working with, which showed me no integrity, compassion or to do the right thing, which was to give me all my money back. Caroline was a great sales rep and had she not been there I would have purchased a car from other dealerships! I paid cash for the car. I have saved for a long time for a Volkswagen bug as this was my fun car. I was disappointed with service department telling me my car would have no other issues and the next day I was stranded on the side of the road for five hours. I clearly stated in my survey in the additional comments my experience with dealership! I gave Caroline 10's and finance unacceptable. I recently purchased a 2015 Passat from this dealership with the help of salesman Marlo and Mr. Mike, the manager. This vehicle was purchased to replace my 2014 Toyota Corolla that had been totaled in an accident. Marlo made sure I was getting what I came there for (and all the features included) and at the price I wanted it. After $5,000 in rebates off the sticker price and lowering my APR by --- OVER SEVEN POINTS!!! --- from the previous auto financing, I achieved my goal to own my dream car. Drove away with my new 2020 Tiguan. So easy I was in and out before I knew what had happened, and they even fed me lunch. I do not buy a new car every 5 or 6 years I want something to last a while. Nissan had it for 12 years, Subaru I traded in had 274,000miles 14 years. Spent some time on researching and did not see any red flags and the Tiguan was a nice fit in my price range. I worked with Chad the "Sales Professional" (that's a new title I had not seen before) but a nice young gentleman answered all my questioned and was responsive to my concerns. This Volkswagen sales and financial team were very pleasant to work with, I highly recommend giving them a visit. They will most likely see me again in 10 to 14 years. read more
