I was so flustered and desperately thinking who to ask for help. I think of Bernardo and head to Patty Peck. Bernardo is standing right there when I walk in, I tell him what's going on, he says "I got ya, bring me the tire..." Fixes / plugs the tire himself, right there, on the spot, 20mins, and we're done. I took my Pilot in for routine scheduled maintenance and to get a leaking tire fixed (that I bought at Patty Peck). I specifically told the guy writing up the order that the last time that I had brought the car in for routine maintenance and asked for the tire to be fixed, they couldn't find the leak. At that time I had waited around long enough and just took the car and left. Most recently I have had to put air in the tire daily and emphasized that I needed it fixed. When the service department called to tell me the car was ready they said that some tires were wearing unevenly. So I asked if they fixed the leaking tire. The response was, "Oh you have a leaking tire?" It had to go back in the shop again to fix the leak which thankfully they found this time. When I got home I saw that no one had vacuumed the car as they customarily do ( see photo). When I bought the car they advertised lifetime nitrogen for the tires but they always just add regular air. The maintenance department said it had to go back in the repair shop for nitrogen because the quick service shop did not have access to nitrogen. The manager also told me it's not all nitrogen just a percentage of nitrogen. I've never seen any difference in air and nitrogen that they claim to have. The tire pressure always changes the same based on temperature. It's not a big deal but I think they need to stop advertising that as part of the buyers package. read more

I 25% recommend Patty Peck Honda. My salesman Herb was great to work with. He held the vehicle I wanted for me while I drove the 3.5 hours from Louisiana to test drive it. It all went downhill once we got to the finance department. I felt like an inconvenience and there were many errors made. Some of these errors resulted in me not being able to register my new car in Louisiana for 34 days (LA gives its residents 40 days to register). There was a little to no communication for stretches of time and we had to deal with multiple people. It often felt like they were just hoping we would forget that we had the incorrect documents (with errors) and incorrect numbers. I would never recommend anyone I know (from Louisiana) to purchase a vehicle from here because of the headache it was trying to get the correct documents. They also calculated our taxes wrong which caused another set of issues. read more

Update my vehicle still didn't get fixed but this was a lesson learn for me because I should've checked my vehicle before I left the service dept. I feel like if the technician damage a customer vehicle why not fix it ? and honestly their service Manager keep stating it was nothing wrong with my vehicle and leaving me to go to another Honda Dealership to find out exactly wrong with my engine. if it was nothing wrong with my vehicle why did they terminate their technician which means the Technician was terminated and my vehicle still didn't get fix so we both took a loss. I am very frustrated about my vehicle I had a really bad experience at this dealership and would never go back. And the amount of oil that leaked out my vehicle after the technician forgot to tighten oil pan after service they should've fixed my vehicle, but they refused this is really sad. My vehicle is a 2024 Honda Accord and now have to pay out of pocket to get some work done to my engine. The Service Department is a friendly hot mess. My car had a recall on a fuel part. They replaced mine with a badly rusted part, leaving me and a friend from church on the side of the road in the Texas summer heat. Guess they expected the old woman to get into trouble here so they could "help me," and make a killing on the repair work. Too bad. Someone else made the money, and they've been busted. Service contracts they give or sell are absolutely no good if customers can't get decent service. I wish we'd bought our vehicle somewhere else. We should have backed out of purchase after Ms. Lewis changed the agreement terms from what she had told us on the phone. The only person who ever answers the phone in the service department is the young lady in express service. She's the only worker in that whole department who's polite and helpful. The other advisors never answer the phone. They aren't polite and don't care to truly help customers. We've been given the wrong price on parts and service twice, so customers definitely need to question everything. Then they add 'shop supplies' fees on all service tickets, even when there are no shop supplies used. We had the tire warranty that came with our new vehicle purchase, but the service advisor refused to accept it or assist with helping us get reimbursed, so we were out money to replace a tire when we shouldn't have been. That warranty is obviously no good if you can't use it. They also don't use the hydrogen air when servicing tires to match what's already in the new tires. Loaner vehicles are never available while getting service work. Bottom line, Patty Peck Honda wants your money when purchasing a vehicle but you're left to suffer when you need service work! read more

Not a good experience. I was told one thing that they could do. Then he couldn't do it. Tried to get me to lease a vehicle. I said no. Every other question out the salesman mouth was down payment. I told him from the start no down payment. I wasn't gonna give down payment. The salesman was super nice but he said his manager or Honda finance wanted a down payment. Funny thing is down payment was mentioned from the start before any paperwork was done. I have never had to give a down payment on a vehicle. I tried ample times to give them business. Went in today for a bunch of lights on my dash(check engine, TPMS, emission system, break system, electric power steering, vehicle stability assist, hill start assist problem, ACC, collision, mitigation breaking system, road departure mitigation system). They had my car for 7 hours, did a full point inspection to tell me it was a problem with my fuel injectors. I didn't think that was the problem so i took it to auto zone right after i got the car back. Checked the battery, found that it was a bad battery. AFTER THE DEALERSHIP SAID THE BATTERY WAS FINE. Subject: Whatever happen to good customer service? Unhappy long-term customers and extremely poor experience with Patty Peck Honda in Ridgeland, MS. Repairs, and towing services costing us thousands of dollars out of pocket! Still have a vehicle leaking oil from front and back seals and the engine light was on. It's necessary to provide comprehensive background information to give you a complete understanding of our deeply disappointing and unsatisfactory experience with Patty Peck Honda, for repairs that should have been covered under our Lifetime Powertrain Warranty (LPW). Our recent experience, more clearly defined as a debacle has cost my family extreme stress and financial hardship. We purchased a used Honda Pilot from Patty Peck Honda in Ridgeland, MS with a LPW that covers the engine, transmission, transfer case and drive axle. We have meticulously followed the manufacturer's recommended maintenance schedules in our owner's manual and recommended services of Patty Peck for our vehicle when taken in for service. Petty Peck Honda has completed all major and most minor work over the years, to include the replacement of the timing belt as recommended and costing over $1,500 to complete the work. Well, the timing belt broke before the next recommended replacement, traveling from an immediate family member's funeral in Illinois on Sunday, February 5th, 2023, on our way home to MS. The vehicle breakdown leaving my family of four, stranded for more than 2 hours on the side of the interstate in West Memphis Arkansas (not the safest place to breakdown) on a Sunday, when almost everything around was closed! An awfully stressful situation which proved to be particularly challenging to get us to safety in Southaven, MS (the closest location with decent hotels) - as we were three hours from home. On Monday, February 5, 2023, we initiated calls to Patty Peck Honda because we knew the required repairs should be covered under our Lifetime Powertrain Warranty (LPW) and provided at the time of purchase. After numerous calls, and several hours later we finally reached an employee of Patty Peck and were given bad phone numbers to two different warranty companies that were no longer in service. After much wasted time, they finally provided us contact information for a third Warranty Company, with a working number, only to find out they didn't have any information on our vehicle or VIN number on file. Lifetime means lifetime if we own the vehicle and performed all required routine maintenance, and it doesn't matter how long we've had the vehicle and by law they are required to honor the warranty. After several discussions and back-an-forth with Patty Peck Honda we were told they have changed warranty companies several times since the purchase, and they were not certain which warranty company insured the powertrain on our vehicle and "our" information was somewhere in storage upstairs.. We, however, were later told that due to the vehicle's age a used motor would be purchased for replacement. They also offered to purchase our vehicle and wanted to sell us a new one and we declined. Weeks later the motor was purchased, and we were pressured to agree to replace all the gaskets, seals, timing belt, and water pump with the estimate coming to more than $3,000 dollars, with the motor out and prior to install. Let me be clear, the estimate of 3 grand was given when the motor was out. It would have been extremely easy to replace the gaskets and seals prior to install under the warranty. This gave all appearances that they wanted to require us to purchase the motor and pay to prepare it for install and nothing being honored under the warranty. At that rate we could have found a motor ourselves and had it installed out of pocket for less than what they were attempting to charge in labor and parts to honor the repairs under the warranty as stated. This sent us to the moon! But we have remained professional with this company. We reluctantly agreed on replacing our motor with a used motor...biggest mistake! Ultimately, we paid for a new timing belt, timing belt tensionor, and water pump prior to taking possession of the vehicle, WHEN ALL SHOULD HAVE BEEN COVERED UNDER THE LIFETIME POWERTRAIN WARRANTY. Despite us requesting a copy of the invoice to show where the used motor was purchased and its ending mileage, nothing has been provided. They have refused to disclose from whom they purchased it, or the ending mileage recorded on the used engine, and we are just supposed to accept that. To this day, we do not know if a replacement motor was in fact purchased and installed as we have not seen any evidence to support that. Prior to taken possession, Patty Peck informed us that the Catalytic converter was making noise and needed to be replaced at an additional $1,000. read more

I was debating about purchasing a car here. But I noticed that carfax had the mileage 5000 more than auto trader. There also seemed to be some interior damage. It is described as a recent arrival but I suspect it may have been used as a loaner car for it's entire existence. And my definition of "recent" is different as this car has at least once gone on and off the website and relisted is not recent arrival. At any rate my specific questions were not answered by the salesperson who answered my inquiry. The mileage difference with carfax is particularly troubling. It is the right car in the right color with the right price just not at a dealership that I am confident about. I think I was stay closer to home and buy new. read more

I have always received fast and courteous service when I visit Patty Peck Honda, today was no exception. I stopped in to get a key made for my '05 Accord (my ever ready work horse 250,000+ miles). Was in and out 45 mins tops. Despite having to pay dearly for that one key, the visit went well. Had a nice conversation with the service tech and the cashier about replacement key price, programming the key and security. Did it help ? LOL, nope. I love this place! Whenever I take my CRV there they always give me a list of suggestions that I should think about. I like that they don't push me to decisions, but instead tell me suggestions and their recommendations. One time I had a coupon for an oil change and the service manger forgot to apply my coupon so he gave me 3 FREE OIL CHANGES! WOW! My mom has taken her Honda Odyssey van here for YEARS and it almost has 300,000 miles on it and it's because they make sure that her van is in good working order every time she comes. I took our CRV in to have some work done including seeing what was wrong with the AC and if it could be fixed. The other work, including an oil change, was handled quickly but the AC was taxing them. As it was getting close to closing time by then, I was asked if I could leave it overnight since they had the AC all apart "trying to find the leak" and that would speed things up when they got back to it the next day. Since this is our only car they provided us with a loaner. Three days later they fixed the problem and we got our car back. Apparently the problem was a radiator fan wasn't working which caused the AC not to work. In addition to paying for the other work, including the oil change, I paid for the AC work which included the diagnostic with the dye, etc. I was told to bring it back anytime in the next 12 months if I had a problem and it would be fixed since the parts etc., were covered for 12 months. This is the understanding I left the dealership with. I was very excited and very happy to have the AC again since this summer has been very hot! I even talked to our daughter who lives in Orlando about what a great experience we had and that maybe she should take hers to a dealer down there since her AC keeps breaking as well. All was great for about a month. Then the AC stopped cooling again. I left a voice mail with the technician who had helped us earlier to make an appointment. I didn't hear back from him so I went one morning to see if they could work us in. I was told they didn't have a spot that day but, after consulting with the supervisor, to bring it in Saturday morning at 8am and they would see what was up. I also learned that the man who had helped me earlier was no longer "with them". That should have been my first clue that something was up. So, anyway, I got called about noon saying they had diagnosed the problem and it was $1,000 more or less to fix it. The dryer was bad and a hose was leaking. I asked why this wasn't discovered when I had it in a month ago. They said that they hadn't run the diagnostic with the dye earlier so they didn't know where the leak was but that they did now. The supervisor called me back the next week after I called and left a message. He said that the paperwork didn't show that they had taken my AC apart but that only it was low on coolant and that the fan was replaced. My question was, and is, why did it take three days to do that and still not run the "diagnostic" the first time I had it in? Needless to say, we still don't have AC in the car. And I am reminded why we stopped going to Patty Peck before. I hope I remember this time. I also hope that I remember when I am ready to buy another car that its not a Honda! It pains me to say that but this is the third Honda we have had that had bad AC. One Odyssey and two CRVs. read more

I purchased a Chevrolet from Patty Peck 2017 and had a wreck last year in the vehicle but the car was totaled. A car hit me head on meaning front end was damaged and parts had to be replaced. This year I had problems with my car running hot and took it to a shop - that said I needed a motor. being that I had Lifetime Power Train Warranty I had the car taken into Patty Peck. Also" Rude" Chris Hawkins said I needed to bring it there for a diagnostic test. When the car got there; Chris called me yelling " Ms. King you can't bring your car here - to my shop and someone else has been working on it". Very appalled, as I stated to you the shop was going to repair but you noted to the warranty place and on your system that it needed to be there. My mechanic unplugged the battery because he was testing and didn't. Chris yelled "Why the bumper off and why it looks like it has had an head job done". I replied as I stated, it was in a wreck last year and parts was replaced. He stated " nawl if any parts has be replaced than it voids your warranty regardless. I stated to him and I am making a statement; Patty Peck uses Lifetime Power Train Warranty but fails to mention "IF" also they have rude reps in place like Chris Hawkins to make sure they don't stand by there warranty/agreement. read more

I own a 2015 Honda Accord, purchased new in 2/2016. It has about 26,000 miles--not driven a lot. I took it to Patty Peck with starting problems. Rather than admitting I had a lemon starter, they hit me with a bill over $600. Have bought numerous cars over the last 48 years but this is the first time I've had to buy a starter. Worse, I bought a starter after putting 26,000 miles on the car. This is my first and last Honda! I would not recommend Peck as an ethical dealer. After posting the above experience, I received an incredibly condescending call from someone purporting to be Peck's Internet Mgr. She started by trying to educate me about how the world of auto maintenance works. It went really down hill when she began illustrating how she took care of her grandma's car--a grandma who apparently didn't drive much but had a car still needed a lot of maintenance. Presumably, it was a Honda! At this point, I couldn't take another second of her example of how to drive away customers. I rudely hung up because allowing her more air time was obviously a waste of my time. It's not like I'm going to reject the reality of my experience based on her high-handed lecture. THIRD POST: You all don't get it. I'm not upset that I bought a starter. Rather, I'm upset the original starter went out after 26,000 miles/3.5 years. It upsets me that Patty Peck is fine with this. Sales department 5 stars but the service department is horrible! The service department denies all claims when you have a warranty. I've taken my van up there for so many things, just to get denied for any services. Their answer is always, "I drove it around and I didn't notice anything" or "your warranty doesn't cover that" or "we didn't find anything". They will only honor recalls and simple maintenance. Also, the service guy Fred is unprofessional and lies through his teeth. I have never been to a dealership where the salesman seem honest and the service department are liars. Quite possibly the worst experience I have ever had at a dealership. I was in the market for a used car, and I went to Patty Peck Honda to look at an Accord. Without discussing the price, if there was anything I wanted to add to the car (would have liked to know if a remote starter and/or an XM radio could be added), or anything related to financing, I was whisked into the finance office and was expected to sign everything - didn't tell me the interest rate, didn't tell me what was allowed on my trade-in, nothing was discussed other than "sign here". We purchased a used 2017 Honda from Patty Peck in June 2018. Our salesperson was wonderful and he raved about their efficient service department. We were very pleased with the purchasing process. 12 months later, the touch screen went completely dead on the vehicle making it impossible to control the phone, radio, cameras, maintenance warning lights, etc. and the vehicle was out of warranty because of mileage. At first we were disappointed to learn that the bill to replace the screen would be in excess of $1000. After leaving the dealership (without having the repairs done), we were contacted by the Service Manager. We had not sought him out initially but when he learned of our situation, he contacted us. He agreed that this was not something that should have malfunctioned and worked with Honda to get the screen replaced with minimal cost to us. We appreciate the staff at Patty Peck. It is obvious that they value good customer service. When we purchased the vehicle, our salesperson was knowledgeable and helpful. We did not end up purchasing a car from here because unfortunately, we were too "upside down" on the one we currently have a lien on. However, we experience some of the most excellent customer service ever from a car dealership. Our salesman was so kind and knowledgeable. We test drove several cars with him and he really knew them inside out and out. We sat down and crunched numbers with him and it was not an unpleasant experience at all (like it usually is). We were never once pressured. When we realized we needed to pay on our car a while longer before we could be in a proper position to take on a new car, we still weren't pressured. We were simply met with a smiling face and a firm handshake. There really is something to be said for Mississippi hospitality, even when buying a new car! Had routine service and a tire replacement done 6/21/21. I always use Patty Peck as I purchased my current car there. Service was excellent, as usual, Shania Starks was my Service Advisor and C. Massey my Certified Technician, both were incredibly professional, efficient and timely. I was in and out quickly and everything was thoroughly explained and completed to my satisfaction, plus a good value. I use these folks for all of my service and have yet to be disappointed. I bought a used Honda CRV. The salesperson Doug told me the car was serviced at their dealership every time. He told me about the owner and where he worked. I was a single mom and it was all I could afford at the time. During the drive with the salesman I mentioned the Air conditioner did not seem to be cooling. He said it was fine and three weeks later it literally exploded under my hood. They would do nothing to help with the expense. Not even a discount. When I contacted the service department to see if the part was under warranty, he told me the car had never been serviced there. My niece (lives with me and my wife while she attends school) walked out of class @ Hinds to find a flat tire on her Honda. In an effort to be proactive, she took it to the nearby Patty Peck dealership for repair. The valve stem was replaced, no other repair, and she was charges $40 total...to replace a valve stem! Outraged, I left a voice mail message for the service rep (made several calls trying to get her on the phone), but never received a call back. This is outrageous! My 2009 Hyundai Accent was missing on cylinder 3. After replacing the spark plugs, spark plug wires, fuel injector and switching around my coils, it was still missing on 3. So, I took it in for repair. After about 4 hours, they called me to tell me it was a bad coil. It would cost over $800 to replace all 4 which, of course, they recommended or $380 to replace the bad coil. I declined the repair because I knew I could replace it in about 5 minutes myself. It's a extremely simple repair. I found the OEM coil was $64, but I found a new set of 4 on ebay for $42. So, I completed their $800+ repair for $42 in about 5 minutes. In addition, they charged me $174 just for the diagnosis. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE DEPARTMENT. YOU WILL PAY EXTREMELY HIGH PRICES FOR NEXT TO NOTHING. To be fair, the pros were that they were very friendly, had a friendly driver to drive me to work and they washed and vacuumed my car. read more

I came to Honda because of a recall on my Honda Accord's airbag. I made an appointment to get it replaced. I went in and they literally laughed in my face and told me I didn't have an appointment and it would take 3 hours to fix, not 45 minutes like they said when I talked to them on the phone. No apology, nothing. Just the worst customer service ever. I have to go back to get it done for safety reasons but literally never want to step foot in there again. BE WARNED, note down the name and/or employee number of whoever you talk to on the phone because later they will pretend that you made the whole thing up!!! read more
