I had been to several dealerships including New Orleans, Brookhaven and Jackson MS. I went to Bob Boyte Honda expecting the same old thing. What a terrific experience! Everyone was nice, polite and my salesman Alexander McDowell was exceptional! He was honest informative very accommodating and in no way pushy. I bought a car on the spot and am very pleased with everything.

I cannot thank the team at Bob Boyte Honda enough. Everyone, including David, Kendall, Dan, and others went above and beyond to help my mother and I purchase her new Honda HR-V. We are so very grateful for the personal and attentive service that we received. Mom is so happy and thrilled with her new car! THANK YOU!

Kourtney was fine to deal with but the assistant sales…read moremanager was dismissive of the safety concerns we noted along with the dishonest pictures they supplied of the 2014 sequoia we drove 4 hours to view. We arrived to a dirty distressed truck with a dead battery, missing paint on every panel, cracked windshield, possible mice damage and bald tires along with multiple engine error codes for cam sensors and abs. I've included some photos of their original ad and the pictures we took in person. We came to purchase a used vehicle out right but the sales manager assumed we wanted to finance a 200k+ mile truck (which would be ridiculous) and told us they rarely financed trucks of this condition. We had no intentions of financing a truck that was in too bad of a shape to finance but apparently nice enough that they're asking top comp price for it. Make sure you ask for a video from your sales person since they will not be forthcoming unless prompted. Truck should've been sent to the auctions, instead they're happy to sell some poor soul a junker and kick the can down the road. No honesty here.

I've been meaning to post this review since mid-November, but between travel, the holidays, and…read morepersonal matters, it was delayed. While traveling from California to Florida, our van began overheating in Flowood, Mississippi. After an initial repair at another shop, we were referred to Gray Daniels Toyota for further evaluation. We worked with a service representative named Raven, who told us their mechanics were "master certified" and that the vehicle had been thoroughly checked. She explained that although the radiator overflow tank that had been installed was aftermarket and smaller than the original, she assured us it would function adequately and that it was safe to continue driving. Based on that information, we continued our trip cautiously, stopping every couple hundred miles to monitor the vehicle. The van overheated in Alabama. We immediately pulled off the highway and called Raven. She did not answer but we left her a voice mail. After arriving in Florida, the van began overheating again. A Toyota dealership there performed a full inspection and advised us that the radiator overflow tank installed was not the correct part for our vehicle and was intended for a different model with a tow package. They further stated that, in order to make it fit, several original Toyota components had been removed. According to that dealership, the repeated overheating contributed to significant engine damage, with repair estimates of approximately $7,000. Based on these findings, the guidance we received at Gray Daniels Toyota did not align with the vehicle's condition as later diagnosed. That information influenced our decision to continue driving, which unfortunately resulted in additional damage and expense. P.S. I did call and speak with the Service Manager, Douglas Chambers. When he answered the call, he did not know who I was. We discussed what had occurred, and the only resolution he offered was that if we were ever in the area again, we could stop by and ask for him and he would see what he could do to make it right. Given that we will likely never be in the area again, any attempt to make this right would need to be addressed now, not at some uncertain point in the future.

Updated: Great service from Lloyd Cole and the technicians at Collision Center/Rogers Dabbs. Had some light damage from a thrown rock and this dealership took great care of me and my car. I cannot recommend Rogers Dabbs Chevrolet Service based on my experience…read more My truck was towed to their dealership for what was initially diagnosed as a failed turbocharger. Over several weeks, I received multiple completion dates that were missed, and communication was inconsistent. I often had to call or stop by for updates, and missed calls rarely included voicemails. My biggest concern was the number of contradictions in the diagnosis and timeline. The issue began as a turbocharger failure, then became an oil-filled charge air cooler, followed by a reported diesel runaway event and potential catastrophic engine damage. Weeks into the repair, management claimed the truck arrived over 8 quarts low on oil, despite service documentation showing the oil level and condition inspection as passed. I understand dealerships are businesses and need to make a profit. I have no problem paying for legitimate repairs. However, when events are later described in ways that appear inconsistent with previous communications and the dealership's own documentation, it raises serious concerns about the integrity of the service department and confidence in the diagnosis. By the time I removed my vehicle, I had spent more than $7,000 and still had to have the truck towed away unrepaired. The vehicle left with significant engine concerns that were not part of the original diagnosis when it arrived. To be fair, most of the staff I interacted with were friendly, courteous, and professional. My dissatisfaction is not with their attitudes, but with the handling of the repair, the lack of communication, and the conflicting explanations surrounding my vehicle's condition. Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage customers to keep detailed records of all communications, diagnoses, and repair authorizations when dealing with this service department.

Out-of-State Buyers Beware…read more On 11/10/2024, I found a listing on Car Gurus for the car I wanted in my price range. On 11/11/2024, I called the dealership and spoke with a salesman who assured me they frequently ship cars out of state and would handle all title, registration, and fees for California. I agreed and was told they'd mail paperwork for me to sign. I received, notarized, and returned the paperwork on 11/14/2024. The dealership confirmed receipt on 11/15/2024 and had already received payment from my lender. I also paid the transportation fee in full. I expected the car to ship that Friday, but after follow-ups, I was told it was "up to the shipping company." The car didn't ship until 11/20/2024. During this delay, I was paying for a rental car. When the car arrived on 11/25/2024, I was horrified to find no paperwork, owner's manual, temporary registration, or plates. My family worried the car might be stolen. Without the proper documentation, I couldn't legally drive or register it, as the dealership had my registration fees, taxes, and the original title. I contacted the salesman, who said they'd overnight a "tryout tag." It arrived as a handwritten piece of paper--not an official document. When I asked if the car was registered in California, the salesman claimed it was, though I received no temporary registration. Frustrated, I returned my rental car and drove my car with the "tryout tag." On 12/01/2024, I was pulled over. The officer ran the VIN and confirmed the car wasn't registered in Mississippi or California and warned he could impound it. He let me off with a fix-it ticket. I contacted the salesman again, but he insisted the officer was wrong. I demanded to speak with the Sales Manager. On 12/02/2024, Clarissa, the Sales Manager, finally called. She explained they use a third-party company for out-of-state registrations and that "additional steps" were needed. Shockingly, she expected me to walk her through the registration process, even asking for the DMV's address so they could mail a check. When I asked for reimbursement for the rental car and the cost of the car while I couldn't legally drive it, she refused and hung up after I mentioned involving a lawyer. Via email, Clarissa confirmed they'd send the necessary paperwork for me to register the car myself. The FedEx package arrived on 12/06/2024. However, the check was made out to a specific local DMV office instead of the California DMV, limiting me to one branch. I scheduled the first available appointment for 12/11/2024. After finally going to the DMV myself, the car was registered. This experience was a nightmare. The dealership's lack of professionalism, poor communication, and mishandling of the process left me paying for a car I couldn't legally drive while also covering rental car costs. To anyone considering an out-of-state purchase, ensure the dealership has a proven, reliable process in place. Learn from my mistake and avoid this dealership.

While I was there I explained to the Service Advisor Maurice that I have had a rattling noise during start up. I advised that I asked the service advisor about this before and was advised that's the 3.5 engine. Didn't recommend any solution. When the problem was mentioned to Maurice he advised Cam Phaser and it should be covered under the warranty. I was a 1000 miles over but if the incompetent service advisor would have at least checked or did his job this would have been a big profit for the dealership.( And my vehicle would have been repaired) I was quoted over 4500 to repair it and my deductible was 100.00 I'm glad that I made contact with Maurice but I'm just not sure if I will return. This makes no sense at all. I've been offered other services for my car but the one thing that really makes a difference I wasnt offered. When I go here I feel like there is a check list of items that I are trying to be sold to me. Gray Daniels simply has salesman at the service advsor desk. Thats it. I hope this review helps someone to stay away. I understand that the service department makes most of the profit for a dealership, but do the right thing. VIN 1FMJU1KT4KEA84816
