As a single female car owner and one who isn't afraid to put miles on a vehicle, Paul Moak Subaru SHATTERED any trust or praise previously or given. A brand new vehicle purchased in the spring of this year required a whole new set of tires with less than 20K on them. One tire had a run in with a nail. I expected to replace two tires just because my dad taught me that. The rep sent the recommendation for a full set of tires stating because of the AWD they couldn't replace just one and the tread was 5/32nd and 6/32nd. All maintenance has been performed at Paul Moak and this has never come up that I recall. Not only this but a quote of $1089. Something that angered me most was the condescending tone the rep used stating I was being cheap when I told him I would get tires elsewhere. He stated that not everywhere knew how to service and would I rather pay a thousand now for tires or five thousand for a transmission later on. I also contacted the sales rep to inquire why I would need a new set of tires. His response was I shouldn't and to find out if there was something wrong with the car that was causing the wear. If I could give zero or negative stars I would. We made an appointment for 1:00 today for routine maintenance and drove 2 hours here from Louisiana. Dropped off our car and went back 3 hours later and they hadn't even touched it. It was sitting in the same spot it was when we left it. We were told it had been "a crazy day and they hadn't gotten to it." Then he told me they could do it right now or we could come back and he wasn't going to charge us. I told him they weren't going to charge us anyway because we have all maintenance covered by warranty (2021 Touring). Then he couldn't even find out fob so we could leave. Disastrous, poorly run, and extremely unprofessional. Go anywhere else but Paul Moak!! read more

Went in for 120k mile service but my window buttons for lock and window control had stopped working recently too ! They fixed that problem within the 3 hour window for the original service. I have recently purchase two cars from Paul Moak a Subaru Outback and a Subaru Ascent. Ashley Herrin & Brad Clark are both amazing at what they do. The Ascent is an great ride hands down the best SUV I have driven. Rides and handles great, time I left and arrived home last night two people walked up to me ask if they can look at the SUV. Both husband and wife are considering trading their Honda Pilot in. The Ascent is a very nice upgrade Volvo quality at lower price. read more

Going to be very fair. Started out being the easiest and best new car purchase we've had. The salesman and finance manager were awesome. Store manager was a tool. That night in the garage I notice a paint scratch, then a blemish, and so the next day I have it evaluated by a pro. They put blue tape on problem areas. Car looks like it has chicken pox. $400.00 to fix it. Manager says he's set aside a whole $100 for paint fix which means he knew it had issues and said nothing. In the show room lights you couldn't tell. We haggle about it and in the end I wind up paying $150.00 out of pocket to get it fixed correctly on a 2018 WRX with 30 miles on it. Then he won't cut us a check for the money they owe us in the trade because they don't have the title from our lender on the trade in. They knew that we had nothing to do with that. He agreed he owed us the money but wouldn't pay up. We had already done paperwork etc. Next day they pay us. Three weeks later car won't start. They won't send tow truck. Make us call a hotline who due to winter weather won't send one. We are in MS and it's 65 degrees and sunny. I finally get battery charged enough to start and send wife to Paul Moak. Service guy is great but can only charge battery and send it out. WTH. Not his fault but still. Two weeks later all seems well. I took my Subaru for a service, they did an okay job, but the price was pretty high compared to other places. That wasn't my problem with them though. The problem was that they would not call me back at all. I had a 9am appointment and by 5pm they had not called me to tell me it was ready for me to collect my car. They close at 5:30pm and I did not realize that until almost too late. I left 3 messages and no one called me back. Luckily I had a friend who had stopped by to see me who took me down there right away. If I had not had that ride right there, I could not have made it to the dealer before they closed as they had given me a taxi voucher. There is no way a taxi could have gotten to my place and all the way to the dealer in time. So when they did talk to me they said "they just finished" and that I could give them my credit card over the phone and they would leave the keys in my car. In downtown Jackson? NO FRIGGIN WAY. That's IDIOTIC. So, I did get my car and leave. BUT on the way home I discovered I have TERRIBLE steering wheel shake. They were not asked to do ANYTHING to my wheel balance etc, and it had been perfect when I drove there, but after they "serviced' my car, it was all out of line. I called and now, 3 days later, NO ONE has returned any of my calls. All I get is voice mail. This company is DISGUSTING. Do NOT go there. I now have to pay another company to fix what Paul Moak (JOKE) screwed up. It's going to cost me another couple of hundred and it's not like the almost $800 I had to pay Paul Joke wasn't enough! read more
