I had sent out a bid on yelp for a project and got a few bids but Nathan at VNE Electric was the only one that asked for pictures. I wanted a Sense system installed to monitor my electrical use. He installed it relatively easy and pretty quick. His estimate up front was not the lowest but I was very satisfied with his work. I used him a second time changing out outlets for GFCI outlets in my old Condo. He also checked to make sure the outlets were not hot neutral reversed. I only had three listed but he checked every outlet. When he was finished he left the place cleaner than when he found it! When we bought our house, we immediately noticed that the electrical work was not up to par. Outlets were loose and recessed, and shortly after we moved in, some outlets ceased to provide power. Over time, a hot contact point developed on one of the light switches. We had previously called another electrician who guessed that there was a nicked wire and that it would be necessary to cut into our walls and go on a fishing expedition. Nathan was able to quickly determine which outlets were connected and how, and more importantly, that our issues were due to loose connection points throughout the house and not damaged wires.
