Awful experience! My first time posting a review. Went to VN Nails in Neptune City, NJ as a new client. I got a mani/pedi. The girl was nice enough but when I got home I noticed all these little tiny bubbles forming on my nails. Also the bad job on the cuticles. I went back to ask for a refund or even a partial refund as I didn't have time to have them do the services over again. The woman at the desk who I believe is the owner told me "no refunds, you get service, you pay for service". Well I didn't pay to have my nails look like crap! She was going to have the girl put on a new top coat which wouldn't have done anything at this point. While I was there earlier having my nails done she got into an altercation with another customer. Absolutely the worst nail experience I've ever had. I hope she goes out of business. read more

Ok how I rate businesses are service, product and atmosphere. Service; They were all great, BUT when it comes to first come first serve... they failed. When it comes to nail salons it IS first come first serve according to the sign in sheet. When one of the nail techs was done with his current customer I got ready, because naturally I was next. Alas, he accepted a walk in instead. Unprofessional and I almost left because of this, the way they were conversing I say they were picking favorites. A star deducted. Now product; They took forever. Waiting to get my turn and also getting the nails done. You would think that meant they were taking the time to be precise. Oh no, we left disappointed. 2 of my nails were only like 3/4 of the way painted. So, that's another star deducted. Lastly atmosphere; ok I cannot judge as far as the size/space of the salon, that's not fare. I CAN judge based on the clutter around the small waiting corner. Also, the toxic smell of the nail Polish being used was overwhelming. They need a ventilation system or something. There also was such an awkward silence. Most salon's have at least conversation going on or music, TV's on or something. Another star deducted. Outcome... we were not happy when we left. Simply accepted our nails, but happy was not the emotion that was felt. read more

I was recommended this place by a good friend. The times I had seen her nails they were always well done. I started going there after my previous nail provider moved. At first things were very good. The service and attention to detail was great. The last few times I have went in there it seems they really didnt have time to do my nails (or daughters) even though an appointment was made for that time. Today I went and was scheduled to get my nails redone and my daughters' nails done and a pedicure. While the lady did take off her nails she did not redo them. I myself asked for what I thought was a simple design was told they didnt have the supplies to do them. Ultimately I think they were just in a rush to close because they left shortly after we did. I think I would had appreciated either them not making the appointment (2pm) than to come in and be short changed. Needless to say I wont be back. I was looking for a new nail place and got an ad and coupon for here in the mail. I made an appointment for a polish change and pedicure. I was greeted when I arrived and they were very nice. The lady doing my nails was very sweet. I chose the $40 pedicure with the callus remover which is what I typically get anywhere. It hurt quite a bit around my cuticles during the pedicure and then the callus remover was used a bit hard and took a large piece of skin off my heel. I noticed a few minutes later that it was bleeding quite badly. She apologized and put a band aid on it. The massage felt nice though. My nails are very pretty but the paint on one of my nails is thick and looks like it has a bump. Overall I liked the salon atmosphere because it was very quiet but my feet are extremely sore and painful a day after. I was charged full price for the pedicure. They were so nice here but I am concerned about infections following my experience here. I've had hundreds of pedicures and never had anything like this happen. read more

5 star review for this place! And believe me when I say that I've tried A LOT of nail salons! So I found this place on yelp and figured I'd give it a shot for my next fill in. My acrylic nails were long and boxy from a previous salon and I was hoping I could have them fixed along with my fill in. Ken did not disappoint!! I opted for the pink and white fill in and it was exactly what hoped for (including the fix on my previous set).Everyone greeted me as I walked in the door and was really friendly, I was also offered a bottle of water as I sat down. This place is well very organized and clean! I will be returning to see Ken for any future nail needs. Thanks everyone for the great experience at this salon! VN Nails is highly recommend! read more

I've been shopping around for quite a while in search if my new mani/pedi spot and I think I may have finally found it! I especially appreciated my pedicure: it was extremely relaxing and my feet feel like baby's feet again! Jason is very pleasant, knows when to "small talk" and when to let you relax peacefully. Okay, I have loved VN like no other for years, and I can't believe I have never left a review, they deserve as many 5 stars as they can get!!!! I've been coming to this studio for probably 3-4 years, coming more often as I get older. The owner, Jason, is always so sweet and welcoming and always seems to remember his guests including me! The staff is always welcoming from the moment you walk into the door and since they have such a big selection of both gel and regular polish- they usually help me pick one out or give me their opinions if I'm choosing between a few! They also carry great brands of polish that actually last, instead of being cheap like so many other nail salons around Fishers. I've been here many times and the ONE time they messed my nails up, I regrettably complained and the owner himself asked me to come in and he fixed them for free. Great customer service and great talent all around. A gel manicure that lasts around 2 weeks, sometimes up to 4 weeks, is only 30 dollars before tip. One special thing about my visit today- the cleanliness! I always noticed how clean VN was but since I was here at closing I noticed how much time and effort they put into cleaning the tools and actual store. They swept, mopped, and cleaned all the station and mirrors. AND since it was close to the end of the day I was expecting to be rushed but no way! They acted just as normal, putting extra care into each nail and I never felt pressured into leaving or anything like that. VN Nails and it's staff deserve the world- but if you can't give them that- at least give them a try and a nice tip!!!! read more

Always a great experience here! The pedis are fabulous and each of the staff do a great job. I just recently started persuading my husband to come with me and he thoroughly enjoys the leg massage! For the massage, scrub, and all that comes with a great pedi, it's about $40 per person, which isn't bad. The only downside to this place is that they enjoy opening the door on nice days which I wouldn't have a problem with, but there were bugs flying around while I was trying to relax and escape from my reality, which made it less enjoyable. My daughter and I arrived at this nail salon 2 hours before their posted closing time. When we walked in the salon, in general, had an "un-kept" feel. A man who was doing a pedicure on another customer turned around and asked us how he could help us almost before we could fully enter the door. We told him we were interested in getting manicures and pedicures and asked for the price list. He pointed behind us. So we began to survey our options. He then approached us about 1-2 minutes later to ask us what we would like done. We told him that we were deciding at which point he proceeded to say "You have 2 minutes to decide." I clarified that I heard him correctly and he confirmed that we had 2 minutes to make a decision on our services. We decided based on his unprofessional approach, unfriendly disposition, and lack of customer care that we would not be pleased with the service offered in this salon. If a business is open, we expect professional customer service until they close for the day. This salon obviously was uninterested in serving us as a client and we would not recommend it based on our experience today. read more

Used to go here all the time and thought that they were the best, however, there are definitely other better salons. One time I got a gel manicure it peeled off within THREE DAYS! Paid $35 for it to peel off in 3 days?? Nope! Also got a pedicure from a woman and had to come back the next day because some parts of it peeled off.... went on vacation and within 2 days my whole entire pedicure was gone. This salon does manicures, gel manicures & pedicures extremely better than any other salon I've been to in Carmel, Noblesville or Fishers (& I've been to many of them!)! They do an excellent job cleaning up cuticles and for someone like me with very thin & weak nails, they do a great job at doing a gel manicure that lasts. They are extremely friendly and remembered me after only my 1st visit! The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is that the wait can be long at times, but only because they're the best at what they do & take their time to do a great job. read more
