She had a very demanding way of asking questions and pointing. (This was NOT a language issue.) When I was checking out, I handed her my slip. She took it without a word, printed the receipt, pointed to where I needed to sign and walked off. No "thank you", "come again" or anything. I live nearby so I thought I'd try this place out. I walked in and was signed in and put in a pedi chair within 3 minutes. I loved my technician. I had the milk and honey pedicure with a manicure. The pedicure I picked came with hot stones and what seemed like a long foot and lower leg massage with honey and a pariffin dip. My manicure I was also given a hand and shoulder massage. BEYOND PISSED!! I got a pedicure done and I waxed my eyebrows, underarms and neck. Just on the waxing alone, I spent 50 dollars not including her tip. Not only did I get a bunch of bumps on my upper lip, but around my neck too and they hurt!! I look nasty!! The lady didn't even put anything after waxing me. 50 dollars for a bad wax and I wasn't happy with my pedicure either. I'm not the type to complain especially when it comes to these places and I don't do reviews either so as you can imagine, I'm ENRAGED! When it came down to waxing my underarms, she didn't even let the wax cool down enough to pull my hairs so she started plucking them out one by one! Didn't even ask! What the actual fuck?? I couldn't even put deodorant on for the next few days because they hurt so bad! On top of the $110 dollars for both shitty services, I still tipped two different ladies a total of 15 more dollars which I regret not ever saying anything. Pretty sad because they knew my friend and still, I received the shittiest service of my life. Just gonna stick to the salon I know. For the most part, my experience with the actual talent and art design of the nail tech was really good. This is why I chose to make an appointment with the nail tech. My problem is the 3 times I have schedule an appointment 2 of the nail tech was out sick and the other time was an hour behind schedule. I understand that things happen but the mgmt or scheduler did not give me the customer the courtesy of a phone call to reschedule or cancel. It was not till I arrived for my apt that I was informed. Updated review-- so I went there Saturday for a classic pedicure and while the salon is very nice looking the service was not. The technician cut my nails super short and did not file them. I mentioned that the sides were poking and would likely result in an ingrown toenail, she then filed the sides too much making it look weird and the cuticles were not cut.. **i went back 5 days later (work made it impossible to get there sooner) and showed and explained the issues and they were more than happy to try to fix things. I am hopeful that there won't be any issues with my new pedicure.. The staff was very willing to help and the salon is very beautiful. Fingers crossed.. read more

This was the absolute worst experience I've had at a salon. I went due to the great reviews and the fact that it is down the road from home. NEVER AGAIN! I actually left in the middle of my service. The tech was taking my dip nails off and started filing my nails crooked. She filed one so far down on the side that where my natural nail should be , it is now gone and raw exposed flesh. I had to start filing my own nails to show her how it should look and she still kept filing one side more than the other so that my nails looked slanted on the tips. I refused the continuation of getting new dip nails , Paid for the removal ($10) & should not have since I sat there and filed each one of my own nails. Spoke to who I assume was the owner and he just sort of acted as though it didn't matter since they would get busy and make the $ anyway. Very unconcerned that someone was walking out in the middle or requested service. End result...my nails look beat up. I can't go to another place until my natural nails grow out some because they had to be filed down so far to get even or until the one that is RAW has healed. Very disappointing! Decided to drink my daughter to breakfast and a pedicure. You walked in and there was no wait on a Saturday at 10:30 a.m. I asked for a pedicure for myself and just a toenail polish for my 9 year old little girl. We were seated in the chairs and shortly afterwards a older lady came up to my daughter and ask her how old she was. When she said nine, the lady said, "child pedicure is $20" I mentioned it to her that my daughter didn't need her cuticles clipped, calluses scrubbed or a massage not even a foot scrub. All she wanted was her toenails painted. The lady repeatedly said that a kid's pedicure is $20. Two attendants were assigned to us. They appear to be very young, almost teenagers. A girl did my daughter's feet and a young boy did my feet. They rushed, and we're not engaging. The boy who did my feet was seemingly rude when he would just tap my leg to signal me to place my foot in the water. All my daughter did was put her feet in the water for a few minutes and proceed to get her toenails painted. No special treatment was done. My pedicure was $27. The young lady that did my daughter's feet didn't even wait till they were dry and then put her shoes on, nicking the big toe, messing up the Polish. We then had to find and have someone else paint that toe with a totally different color red from the one that's used on the other toe. Now she has missed matched toenails. This place is way overpriced in the service is just mediocre. I left out of there paying $50 for my pedicure essentially. Not worth it. read more

So this is my first time there as they are fairly new (3 weeks). I usually frequent a salon in la fronterra, but this is right across from my neighborhood so I really wanted to try. I gave it an assessment based on their action with no prompting. I walk in an I'm greeted by very nice staff. I ask for a Mani and Pedi. There are two women conversing and finally decide to have me sit in any pedicure chair I'd like. Right as I'm about to sit she says loudly (as we were across the room from each other), that actually she was going to start with my mani. So we finally sit for my mani. I immediately notice beverage options, but was not offered one at all. I could have asked, but again, j wanted to see what their service was with out being printed. I always take forever picking colors so I of course was being overly apologetic because I know it can be annoying. Well we start and then more guest walk in. She gets up to assist them and takes around 3-4 minutes to get him situated... while I'm sitting there with my nails covered in colored powder. She comes back and does say sorry so I'm like no problem. Well then wrapping up she ask me to wash my hands. And as I do she ask if she can wax someone's eye brows. I say I guess. Well I guess during this time another lady became irate on the other side and my nail tech was attending to that also, so this caused over 10 minutes of me waiting. I'm not be coming more frustrated as I have a part to attend and was not anticipating it to take this long. On my left foot I have half a toenail so because of this I get acrylic powder in it. EVERY OTHER SALON I have EVER been to takes care of this in the pedi chair. NOT here. She knelt down on the floor behind the mani station and started filing my toe there. Under the table. Then she sat in her chair and had me lifting my leg (mind you I have a bad knee) and resting it on her knee. It was super awkward. Again I have NEVER had this happen. She then waiting for the powder to dry has me lift my other leg to start filing my nails here in the mani station. It was super awkward and uncomfortable and hurt. My foot kept jerking and she was like oh I'm sorry did I hurt you. I said no I have a bad knee and her response, well I can't lower the chair any more. Like really?! You can't move me to the pedi station like any other salon would, I mean since you are technically starting my pedi. Finally I move over to my pedi. I sit and pick out my mani I wanted. I reminded her I needed to pick my color still. Which I did rather quickly but I sat holding the swathes for most of my pedi. She finally offered me a beverage as I picked my pedi type and she finally took the color samples. The pedi was very rushed. They started to get busy and I feel like instead of taking the time and giving the massage etc that I was paying for with the milk and honey pedi, that she just rushed through it. There was polish on my skin in a few spots. I feel like she became worried I was in there a while which was mostly delays on her part. Overall it was clean. New. And the staff was mostly kind. I would have loved the attention to my feet as I received to my hands (although my nails def could be smoother and cleaned up more). They are new so I'll give them one more shot, hopefully it will be smoother. read more

I went in to have one nail fixed and was told wait time was 30 minutes. I watched 2 other clients come in and out. Then after 2 hours I was told Mia (Mi) would not work on my nails because she had a client that was having eyelashes and paying?! I paid for my services and was only there to have one nail fixed. Then Andy told me that no one would work on my nail because I was mad?! I never behaved badly at any salon ever. It's not in my character. My advice is not to go there because if you need anything else done they will lie to you and about you in their own language! Let's start with the good: the location is clean and looks good. The bad-- I called to make an appointment because I wanted to make sure that I would be able to get services done without waiting too long since I have someone watching my toddler. They said to come over and that there's no wait. I get there, they ask me to pick my colors for the mani and pedi. I do so, and they ask me to sit in a chair and wait. I say for 15 minutes. I start getting frustrated because I was told there's no wait, but here I was, waiting. A lady working there sees that I'm a little annoyed offers to start the water for the pedicure. Now I'm thinking that ok, finally I'll get to start. I say with my feet in the water for another 10 minutes. At this point, I'm fuming because no one has even come by to check or say anything. I asked the lady working how much longer it'll be and she gives me the side eye and says maybe 5-10 more minutes. I was livid. I had already been there for 25 minutes and I would have to wait even longer? I walked out. Overall, I would say that it's probably worth giving this salon a shot if you have an extra 30-45 minutes to sit there and wait before you're even seen. I only wish the quality of the salon matched the quality of the service. I would definitely not recommend this salon. There are more options farther down Parmer with less parking issues and quicker and friendlier service. Waste of time. read more

Me and a friend walked in a while after opening on a Sunday for pedicures and had an amazing experience. The young woman at the front desk was so nice and helpful! She helped my friend pick her colors and tested them on her own nails so we could see the top coat on the color (was not charged for extra coat). We were immediately seated (right next to each other, which I appreciated. I've gone to places before where they just place you in a spot, even if you want to sit next to your friend). They offer a free drink (we got margaritas, which were nice and cold and yummy) and we got to enjoy those during our pedicure~ the man who did my pedicure did an amazing job, I didn't feel like they rushed through at all, and it was peaceful and quiet (we were actually there for about 2 hours). It was my first time coming here, and the experience was just amazing. My legs and feet felt so relaxed and soft after I left, and my toes looked so pretty! Me and my friend decided that will will be making this a bi-monthly thing for us to do, and we will be coming here. We both got the Milk and Honey ($45). read more

I came here because the reviews all sounded so nice and it was rated so highly and close to work. I'm jealous of those who had a good experience. I got handed off to another nail tech in the middle of my manicure, with one hand half completed. Once transferred, he went through quickly with the other hand. The lengths didn't match the other hand, and when I pointed it out, he adjusted it, but with a crooked end. At no point were nail clippers used on that hand despite wanting a good bit of length off. My cuticle was cut with the buzzing tool and nothing was done about it. It got infected and was oozing by the next day. The dip powder is clumped by the cuticle, making for an obvious grow out, desire the natural color of the powder. I've now had my nails done a week, and two nails have chipped. I've been wearing dip powder for over a year, and this is the first time it has chipped in a week. When I left, there was solidified top coat and powder under my nails and all over the bottom of my fingers. This was honestly one of the worst nail experiences I've ever had. Had an appointment set for 3:45pm. Was sat down at a chair for almost 30-45 minutes. The water was cold by the time they started. Just wanted a pedicure. It was a Sunday, but they seemed to be severely short staffed. The lady doing my pedicure cut me a few times and asked me and coworkers what I wanted done. It was more frustrating than relaxing. The facility is nice, clean and new. But I don't think I'll be returning. By the way, the time is now 5:48pm and I have yet to be done with my pedicure. Just finished at 6:45pm. The staff is ok, the facility is clean but they need more staff. Or you need to be ready to spend 3 hours there. read more

I love this salon. Lan is amazing. All the staff there is very attentive, helpful, pleasant. You ask and you will receive. You can't go wrong with any of the nail technicians. I just feel comfortable and relaxed there because of the staff. They listen to what you want. They also make suggestions. The décor is modern and quite lovely. I really wanted to love this place but unfortunately it was a disaster. The guy was nice but clearly inexperienced. My nails were uneven not shaped the same. The worst part was two nails literally broke within two days after paying over $60. I went back to at least have them fixed which was ok until another nail cracked. I had the nails less than a week and 3 nails broken. I am careful with my nails so this was a serious disappointment. I will not return. read more
