We went in not too long ago and had an appointment at 9am which we were on time to. We waited for a long time and the dentist didn't even show up until 9:40, 40 minutes late! We didn't even get seated until 10:30 after which we waited another 30 minutes because they said the dentist was in the "bathroom" and would see us shortly. It wasn't until 11 that the assistant finally told us that the dentist was not even in the building and had left 30 minutes prior. She asked if we wanted to wait but they had no idea when he would be back to see us. So we left, 2 hours later, without being seen by anybody. Ridiculous. What is the point of making an appointment if the dentist shows up 40 minutes later? Why lie to your patients that the dentist is in the restroom? Why not inform us that he's gone and not coming back? It's because they are liars! VM dental does not care about you or your time. They just want your money. I never write reviews but I am writing this to warn people of this dentist and the office. I should have gone elsewhere just based on the first interactions with this office and I deeply regret following through with the treatment here. I had severe pain in my back tooth and I was examined and determined to need a root canal. And as I am highly afraid of the dentist, I needed sedation dentistry. I had to wait over 2.5 mos (with extreme and then milder tooth pain) for the authorization from my insurance because the office submitted my paperwork wrong and had to do it a second time aside from the billing receptionist being extremely rude and disrespectful. But worst of all, I received the dental work, four fillings and one root canal under sedation and was told they did everything and I wouldn't need any more appointments. Lo and behold, I am having great pain in THREE of the four teeth that had fillings. I go back today to get examined and the dental assistant says there's 4 new cavities even though I just got my dental work done a month ago. Long story short, her and the dentist told me three different stories. One that they didn't do the first 4 fillings at all when I was under sedation because there was no record on my chart that they were done. Then the dentist says yes he did do them, but two fractured and one completely cracked. Then they said there's two that are cracked and two new ones. I had this done 5 weeks ago. I have not been eaten anything hard because those teeth were so sensitive. Having 3/4 fillings crack in less than a month is absolutely absurd. I asked the dentist how this could even happen and he said it's normal!! 3/4 fillings to need redone. And I am devastated. After being sedated for extreme dental anxiety and now having bad dental work done, I am now forced to go to another dentist to hopefully fix what this dentist did to my teeth. They also said I had several new cavities and when I stated that I was just here and asked how did they show up that quickly, the dental assistant said he probably didn't see them. Absolutely garbage that cavities were missed and very badly filled for a patient with extreme dental anxiety. Horrible place and dentist. They have been calling me to make an appointment to get my fillings re-filled and I will never step foot in this place again read more

We have been going to Dr. Sharma for 4+ years. The front office is kind and courteous. The office is great about reminders of your up coming appointments. The lobby is clean and recently updated. The technicians are great. They are quick and efficient with X-rays. Quick and Gentle while doing routine cleaning. Dr. Sharma works hard to give the best results. All of the crowns needed are ready in record time. My family and I are fortunate to have found such a great dental office. SCAM DENTIST!! genuinely terrible. terrible experience all around DO NOT go to a dentist who requires you to have bones grafts for all of your wisdom teeth. trying to get an extra penny out of you or 2,700 pennies to be exact because you know bone grafts aren't covered under insurance... maybe because they're not necessary? lol and apparently HIPPA doesn't exist here because they showed me someone else's x-ray because i told them i didn't want the bone grafts and they said see, look at this patient now her jaw is so fragile is could break... what? first of all that's not how it works and second you were just trying to genuinely scare me into doing it. also for the lady to say if i don't want them she can refer me out because there's no way he'll be doing them without them... red flag much? people get them done all the time without them but apparently he's special. the first thing the dentist came in and said was how pretty i could be when i want to come back and spend some money so they could fix my teeth and smile and jaw? what? i wasn't here for cosmetic dentistry nor is that how you convince someone to spend money on their teeth. also he said i didn't have a cavity when my last dentist said i did as well as i've been having pain associated with it as well as floss recently getting stuck in it. i got told it's probably just me irritating my gums because i have some gaps in my top teeth? what? he stuck the mirror in my mouth for all of maybe 50 seconds before he said nope all your teeth are good. i said wait what about the cavity? he handed me a mirror put his little mirror back in my mouth for mmm... maybe 20 second and swiped around all my teeth and said yeah no see no cavities your teeth are good. he recommended half a deep cleaning? only on my bottom teeth? even though my cavity was on my top teeth and he said after the cleaning he may find it? but you're not even cleaning my top teeth? he didn't look at my gums, he didn't look at how much worse my gums have gotten / even mention that i had an issue with my gums even though i told him i had issues with it. -10/10 all the way around would never go there again and would never recommend someone to go there read more

I honestly don't recommend coming here. At the time I was looking to get my teeth checked, I figured to come here because it was conveniently close to me, i went in and could tell the technology was not up to date but I figure what do I know they know what there doing. They said I no cavities and everything was fine. I wanted to get a second opinion just in case being that the tools they had weren't up to date I did research and found another nice dentist facility. They had updated tools and technology they then found 8 cavities and even showed me on there screen and photos. read more

New dentist that works there is super profession. He provides a welcoming and positive atmosphere that left me feeling even better than when I arrived. All the employees were wearing masks. The facility is very clean. There are only a couple seats in the waiting room but that's okay. There's a TV on that plays movies whilst you wait. Very good experience. read more

The doctor and assistants are scamming their patients with bone grafts, by charging the patients last minute for $650 per tooth, that they claim aren't covered under insurance but it is in fact covered. Even after we showed him that the procedure was COVERED , the doctor then asked if we wanted to fight him and then proceeded to go on explaining that he charges $650 per tooth because he gets paid very little. I'm sorry but how much you make isn't my problem, my problem is my wisdom teeth. I wouldn't feel comfortable ever going back there or recommending this place to anyone! read more

It was my first time and maybe it will get better, but it was not good. I was shocked that all the people besides the dentist spoke Spanish throughout the visit even though they all clearly spoke English perfectly. It was so rude and unprofessional to carry on several conversations in front of clients in a foreign language. I was in total shock that it was even happening. Who does that? This is a serious business with non Spanish speaking clientele, so I do not get it. The dentist barely spoke to me and was rattleing off things to the worker who was a nurse or something, but it was about my teeth. He never told me what it all meant. It was just a very weird experience. May need another dentist because I am not feeling this place at all. I came here for ROOT CANAL treatment in a molar tooth and I was treated in a very friendly way which helped me removing my all fear for DENTAL SURGERIES. And the doctor carried out the whole procedure within 45 minutes and he showed me the xrays too explaining me the X-Rays showing me post operative root canal treatment done to my tooth and i was so over whelmed that the whole procedure went very painless and i was so satisfied. The office staff is very nice but the dentist is horrible. He insulted my smile told me I needed reconstructive surgery and when I said no I like my smile. He got rude. He looked at my teeth very aggressively and said 5 cavities and you need a deep cleaning. I am 30 years old and have never had a cavity in my life. I refused service and said I was going to get a second opinion and then he said fine and stormed into his office and slammed the door. I only went to him cause he was covered by my insurance.
