Not good experience at all to say the leas. we had been given the impression by multiple people that our child wod be getting their braces off at the next appointmen. We even made sure the appointment was at a time when I could be there for it and off work. we walked in and were told they never said that and on top of that said he still had one more wire, so quite some time left. The Dr was barely even apologetic and came across as very arrogant didn't care. what an absolute waste of my time off work not to mention getting a child's hopes up falsely. not a good place, would not recommend to anyone in the future ever. read more

This entire process has been a nightmare--especially the last few months. I was on my final Invisalign box and was supposed to be done in under 2 months. Instead, I've been stuck on it for 8 months because this office cannot accommodate a working person's schedule. Every time I try to book anything after 3 PM, the next available appointment is 2-3 months out. So my options are: lose money taking time off work, or wait months just to be seen for 10 minutes. I've already lost several hundred dollars dealing with this, only to have my time wasted and my schedule completely ignored. They've had me wearing the same bottom aligners since January (it's now April). Why? Because it takes them two months to see me just to say, "okay, move to the next tray." Meanwhile, my teeth are already straight. The only "issue" is a microscopic gap between my front teeth that you literally cannot see--it only shows up as slight contact when flossing. That gap has been there for two years, and I've repeatedly told them I'm happy and ready to be done. They ignore that and keep pushing more overcorrection trays while admitting everything else looks perfect. If I could actually get timely appointments, I'd be wearing each tray for maybe a week. Instead, I'm stuck wearing the same gross plastic trays for 2+ months at a time--they stain, they smell, and it's honestly disgusting no matter how much you clean them. Now, to top it off, I lost my trays (likely fell out of my pocket), and I've been without them for two days. So now I have nothing maintaining alignment, and I still have to wait another month just to get fitted for a retainer... assuming they don't tell me I'm "not ready" again for the fourth time. I paid around $7,000 for this. You'd think that would come with some level of flexibility or basic respect for your time. It doesn't. Their scheduling is rigid, unaccommodating, and completely out of touch with anyone who works a normal job. I've asked multiple times to schedule appointments in advance so I'm not stuck in these endless 2-3 month gaps followed by another wait for a short follow-up. Every time: no. I'm beyond frustrated. My teeth look great, and I'm glad for that--but this experience has been exhausting and unnecessarily drawn out. I would not recommend Larson Orthodontics to any working professional unless you have a completely open schedule and unlimited patience. This place is the worst. read more

I had a really disappointing experience with the new doctor, Dr. Hadid. I originally got my braces done here a few years ago when it was only Dr. Larson, and my experience back then was great. Unfortunately, this recent visit was the complete opposite. I came in to have my permanent retainer removed. From the start, Dr. Hadid was extremely rude and unprofessional, which made the entire experience very uncomfortable. When I mentioned that I already have a wire retainer for my top teeth (which is what the office originally gave me years ago), she immediately insisted that I get a clear retainer instead. She didn't take the time to explain anything she just bluntly told me to "get the clear one." While removing the glue from my teeth, she was extremely rough and didn't communicate with me at all during the process. It was incredibly painful, and she just kept aggressively scraping my teeth without checking in. It hurt so badly that I actually had to stop her by pulling her hand away. The only person who showed any kindness was the nurse, who could clearly see how uncomfortable I was and asked if I was okay because I was honestly on the verge of crying. To make matters worse, after removing the retainer there was still glue and residue left on my teeth. Instead of cleaning or buffing it off which I would expect to be part of the service Dr. Hadid abruptly told me to go to my dentist and walked away, leaving my teeth with leftover glue and gunk. Again, the nurse was the only one who helped me afterward. I have never had an experience like this at this office before, which is really disappointing considering how better my experience was when I originally got my braces here. read more

So bummed at the experience. We just paid $500 for teeth whitening. We were not told there would be 4 zoom sessions, all today, all in 1 sitting. We were not told the person would be training another gal and the new gal would be learning on our teenager (working on him). She also said that if he could not handle 4 sessions all at once, he could not return to finish them. This sounds like crappy service that was not told at time of payment. Please consider another location if you're interested zoom whitening as you may not be able to handle 4 zoom sessions at once. The person even told us 2 people left in the middle of the service because they could not handle it. Lastly we asked if he could eat and she said google teeth whitening and you'll get whatever you need on questions you have. No after instructions were given. Nice cool place. Super pack, so many patients, kids and parents. 2 star for restroom. It was nice, but there is NO hand soap in the bathroom. No soap fixtures, about 8 more people went in after me, i was waiting in the seating room, too small of an area for the number of people that was in. This place is super popular. I am shock with the volume... I never seen a dental place with this much energy... i suddenly regret left my hand sanitizer in the car. Wondering how many more have gone through without hand soap. I want to mention that my daughter felt very calm, cared for, listened to and allowed to express her concerns whenever she interacted with Dr. Larson. She can get very nervous around other people, especially when visiting a medical facility. She has had some less than friendly experiences with a dental staff, but not this facility. Everyone from the counter staff, the circulating staff and dental chair team were exceptional and very friendly. The staff are friendly, the offices are clean and well maintained and they are a well oiled machine. They do what they do often and well. There have also been a couple of times my son needed to get in for a loose bracket or something poking him and I was able yo get in same day. My only criticism is the way you feel a little forced into deciding the day of your consultation. I'm not one to feel pressured easily but the staff made it seem like it was our only option. This has happened with my friends who have come here as well. so just be prepared to leave with braces when you come in for your consultation if you need them. read more

We just finished up phase 1 treatment with Dr Larson, and we are so happy with the results! It is truly remarkable the difference one year made. I have an inherent distrust of dentists and orthodontists based on negative interactions in the past, so I was very skeptical when our family dentist (who I trust) referred us to Dr Larson. I was planning on getting several consultations with various orthodontists, but was sold from our first consultation with Dr Larson. He made me as an anxious parent feel very comfortable and spent tons of time answering my many questions. He never made me feel rushed at all and he is incredibly knowledgeable. He also made my then 7 year old feel very comfortable. He has a great sense of humor and is great at talking to the kids. He celebrates wins and truly cares about not only achieving a good result but also ensuring that the patient feels safe. The ladies at the front desk are very nice and were great about working around my busy schedule. Most of the assistants were great as well. My oldest is also a patient getting Invisalign and mostly sees Dr Taylor, and that's been a great experience as well. Review from my 8 year old: everyone is nice, especially the retainer girl*. The waiting room is comfy and cool. The tokens are pretty. Dr Larson is funny. I like my smile now. *retainer girl: one of the assistants, Jennifer is truly an angel. My daughter had a hard time with the retainers (one was making her gag) and she started crying (which hadn't happened at all during her whole year of treatment). Jennifer stopped everything and took the time to talk to my daughter about how she was feeling and was able to fix the retainer for her, and definitely went above and beyond. read more

I have been taking my daughter here for years and service has been ok, but today everybody that my daughter encountered from the front desk to the back had a really bad attitude. I don't appreciate this at all. My daughter had to get cavities filled so they were supposed to see how her retainer was working. When my daughter told the lady what was going on the lady responded with,"what am I supposed to do about that?" Well, how about your job! Dr.Larson needs to train his people better if this is what's going on. Didn't even make a follow up appointment cause thus is ridiculous. This is my thousands of dollars hard at work here. Parking is horrible and they constantly overbook. I've never been there without having to wait at least 20-30 minutes for my appointment.

I wanted to wait until my two kids finished their treatment so I could leave an honest and thorough review. My daughter just got her braces off a couple days ago and WOW!!! We can't believe how much her smile transformed and how gorgeous it is. She has not stopped smiling since and her confidence has dramatically increased. Our son should be getting his off soon as well. He's really excited and we can already see how much his teeth have improved. First off, everyone in the office goes over and beyond. They are all so kind and welcoming. Dr. Larson and Dr. Taylor are so knowledgeable and friendly. They really help kids (and adults) feel at ease. We decided to seek their ortho treatment here because 1. We kept seeing their blue shirts at my kids' school 2. We read the excellent reviews online and 3. Two close friends highly recommended Larson Orthodontics as well. My kids were very encouraged with the gold tokens and were excited to redeem them for a variety of gift cards. When my daughter finished treatment she got the most awesome and unexpected treat bag congratulating her. My only complaint is that we have had to change appointments and they aren't that flexible, but I realize it's because they are very busy. This is a huge indication of their success and how great of a job they are doing. All of our regular appointments were wonderful. We never had to wait for very long and they were very efficient. Dr Larsons staff is a group of incredible, professional and caring people who understood my fears and limitations and worked flawlessly with me. Very unprofessional, They decided to cancel my Invisalign treatment without a valid reason a week prior to my 1st appointment, after talking to the treatment coordinator she stated received the directives from Hawaii (HR manager), Hawaii stated she received directives from their Director (Melinda), I emailed them but their response was that they canceled my treatment, no valid reason provided and they were detected not to talk to me anymore. Warning. This office does not take in people that are new from other Orthodontist that have Permanente retainers in there mouth. Here is my situation my old Orthodontist retired and I need some glue put on my lower retainer in my mouth and was told in an e-mail by the receptionist that they do not take on other cases from other Orthodontist and was told for liability reasons even when I told them my old orthodontist retired. I think they are in it for money and don't care about the patient. I also see that they threat people who have disabilities saw it on there Facebook page well guess what have a disability and I would not want someone with a disability being treated the way I was treated. Also the receptionist that sent that e-mail to me came of as being really snotty to me. My advice stay away from this place and take your business elsewhere. read more

Braces are not just for kids. I got my Invisiline braces from Dr. Larson when I was 50. I am so glad I did. Not only do I have a much better smile, but I no longer have a weird bite that was causing me to chip my teeth occasionally. My dental health has never been better. I just turned 62, so I've had my braces for 12 years. This week, one of my permanent wire retainers finally failed...after 12 years! I called their office and they found an opening for me the same day to come in and fix me up. They did indeed fix me up and that is the reason I write this review. It's so nice to find a professional office like Dr. Larson's. The office has an excellent vibe for both kids and adults. First of all !!! Watch out for these Scammers!!! Dr. Larson seemed nice but his people working in the billing department are a bunch of scammers or just plain idiots... They quoted us $3780 for invisalign for my son and told us we have to pay out of pocket $2712 dollars. For 12month treatment. Made an appointment to get this done and about a day or 2; later asked them. To submit a pre-treatment estimate to Delta Dental. I received the pre-treatment estimate from Delta Dental. And the estimate showed that I only need to pay out of pocket $1118. Because of the in network discount that; an in network Delta Dental Dentist and Orthodontist have to give us a discount. Which was $1644 dollars. The day of the appointment the lady at the billing department said that I still needed to pay $2712 even when Delta Dental showed other wise. And her excuse was the $3780 was for regular braces. Not for invisalign. And because invisalign was an upgrade; $2712 was what I needed to pay out of pocket. And since we want the invisalign there was no discount of $1644 and I still need to fork over $2712 to these scammers... Simple common sense here... -Quoted 12months for $3780 for Invisalign treatment -sent Delta Dental $3780 treatment bill for invisalign treatment -in network discount off $1644 kicks in because you billed for invisalign Total waste of time... total bullshit scam artist. read more
