We booked way in advance, paid the deposit, confirmed with them a week before our event. Basically did everything to a T, which still wasn't sufficient because the people at seven co FORGOT about our event. It started at 6 PM so we show up at around 5:10 with nothing set up or ready like we had agreed. We were freaking out at this point, since we had around 30 people who had signed up to come. We didn't really have any emergency contact info and since the seven co staff had left for the day, we thought we just needed to cancel. We were SO upset and I literally was on the verge of a breakdown. The whole thing just looked so bad and unprofessional on us, and we had been working our asses off to plan this for weeks. Somehow, our President dug through his contact book from years ago and found Katrina's old cellphone number, which we tried calling and texting, at first to no luck. Then, surprisingly at around 5:40 she texted and called back apologizing and agreeing to send someone. Apparently her coworker, Corinne, had forgotten to check the calendar.... So Corinne shows up and sets up the room for us, which pushed our event back to 6:30. She was nice and really apologetic, although my heart rate was still to the roof at this point. The event itself panned out fine, but we were so flustered and it was definitely just not a great start or experience whatsoever. From what I heard from my coworker, they agreed to give us a refund but honestly, I really don't think that makes up for much. If my dad hadn't had Katrina's cell phone number or if we wouldn't have been able to reach them, that would've been SO bad. This sounds harsh, but I mean it respectfully--I can't imagine ever booking an event with them again, which is a bummer since the venue itself is nice.

Here is what you need to know before signing a lease: Bait-and-Switch Floor Plans: You are led to believe you are renting a one-bedroom apartment, only to discover upon move-in that you are actually renting a single room within a shared two-bedroom unit. In my colleague's case, three people were crammed into a single two-bedroom apartment. Absurd Parking Policies: The parking situation is tandem. I was paired with a stranger who ended up canceling their spot to avoid being blocked in. I offered to pay for both spaces to secure my access, but management inexplicably refused. Consequently, the second space sat empty for six months, costing the owners revenue while severely inconveniencing me. Inaccessible Mail: Because Kapi Residences subleases from the property owner, your name is not on the mailbox. An on-site building manager must retrieve your mail, but they are almost never actually on the property, making it incredibly difficult to receive basic deliveries. Non-Existent Maintenance: My washer and dryer were broken for over 90 days. Management made up countless excuses about the repair status, clearly demonstrating they had no actual ability or urgency to fix it. Predatory Move-Out Practices: Despite having a clear, legal lease end date, management attempted to force an 11:00 AM move-out on my final day. This is completely contrary to standard tenant rights, which dictate you have access to the unit through the end of the day you paid for. Complete Lack of Communication: The on-the-ground management team is entirely non-responsive, often taking days or weeks to reply to simple inquiries. Worse, when I attempted to escalate these documented, operational failures to the ownership, I was met with total silence. The Verdict: Do not use this company unless your program absolutely forces you to. Until they drastically clean house, learn basic customer service, and hire staff capable of returning an email, Kapi Residences should be off everyone's list. Run away as fast as you can.

There's private phone booths for calls, and a conference room and a podcasting studio if/when I need it. Honestly, WFH has been great, but I think now I prefer Working Close to Home. At TailoredSpace, I can do deep work in a clean, aesthetically pleasing environment. There are no interruptions, no distractions, no chores; there is just professional workspace and professionals minding their own business. Somehow, that changed, and the change seemed to happen on the fly. One of our long time clients came by to drop off documents. According to our client, the documents were refused. While he was on the phone with us trying to explain what was happening, he was asked to leave. TailoredSpace never called us, never notified us, and never gave us the chance to assist our client. When I called to ask what happened, I was told that we were supposed to call ahead before a client came in, and that the front desk had no duty to notify us. I was also told the front desk is not my receptionist, which was her answer when i asked if they could call to let me know about the client showing up to drop off documents. I felt this was really bad service & presented our business in a bad light, her response was "I'm sorry you feel that way," which felt like basic corporate *Eff off to me, dismissing the issue rather than address the actual problem or offer an actual apology. That left me dumbfounded. New unwritten procedures are now being enforced subjectively by the new receptionist, and active tenants are expected to just figure it out after there is already a bad client experience. When is it okay to provide horrendous B2B service to a business that is actively leasing office space? For any business that depends on client trust, document drop-offs, mail service, or a professional first impression, I would be very cautious before signing here.
