I had a really disappointing experience here. I asked for a cherry design, and the cherries came out completely inconsistent--different shapes and sizes on each nail. When I politely asked the technician if he could try again to make them look more uniform, he refused and told me they're "not supposed to look the same." There was no effort to fix it or make sure I was happy with the result. Customer service matters, and at the very least, I expected him to try again or care about how the final set looked. Instead, I felt dismissed. On top of that, I was charged $95 for short almond gel nails with a French tip and simple cherry designs, which is unreasonable considering the quality of the work. Overall, I'm really unhappy with both the service and the outcome. I won't be coming back. read more

The place overall is decent, though the service can be a bit inconsistent. I appreciate that appointments are easy to get. Unfortunately, my last few experiences weren't that great. My gel set chipped, which was surprising. I'd also be cautious about their "Gel-X" option, as the product used didn't seem very sturdy (pictures provided). Took a long time deciding to update my review. Unfortunately, this place has lost me as a customer. It's become too over scheduled, and when I go I don't feel like a valued customer. Prices are great, but I'm willing to pay a little more to really be happy with my time and patronage. I do my nails 1x a month and always have a picture or an idea of what is like the outcome to look like. My nails are weak and drilled thin to the point of heat/burning when the drill is used too much. I can only presume this is because of rushing through to make as much as possible. Last time I went, I asked for a baby blue that was different from my prior months baby blue. The ladies looked at me like I had 3 heads. And proceeded to tell me that was all they had and give me the same blue. I end up feeling like a burden versus a customer. I also asked for jewels and they were never shown to me. It's all very rushed now. No offers to mix colors or help me decide on the color. I asked to see 2 different ones and I could tell I was being annoying. If you're looking for a standard service this is the place. However, I can no longer exclaim their quality. read more

I needed an emergency nail treatment since my nails are breaking. I called Vivian Nails Spa for the first time, and they were able to accommodate me at the last minute. The nail technician who worked on my nails, Kim, was really friendly but was a little aggressive on my nails - she adjusted when I told her, Overall, my nails came out really clean. I have been coming for the past 4 years even after my nail tech Tiffany left. I am very particular with my nails and who does them. The staff is nice, professional, accommodating. Tee does great with working with designs and helping me trust the process in our new relationship lol. The staff makes sure to tell me The cost of the service ahead of time and I have been able to call in and get a same day service including nails and pedicure. If you don't like something address it during the service and not after because they will fix it and work with you. I recommend people all the time and they enjoy their services. This is the WORST nail salon ever! They have NO sense of time and no respect 4 clientele. I have an important event and went 2 get a pedi and fill. I do have longer nails. I was told 2 pick a color, the pedi was good, but suddenly there were no techs 2 do the nails. They KNEW i had long nails when i walked in! Instead of common courtesy and letn me know the couldnt do all the work, they chose 2 take what money they could (pedi) and 2 hell with what i requested. Could i come back 2morrow? Hell no i dont live in this area. The techs wanted 2 go home well SO DID I!! the manager should have stayed 2 make sure all customers were taken care. Thankx 4 ruinning my event with unkempt nails. I do not recommend this salon... My appointment was for 6pm and I was seen at 6:20pm. (I was 20 minutes early) I asked the technician to make me acrylic nails with design and the design started to come off after two days... I couldn't go back to have it fixed because I had traveled out of the country for a wedding... I was so embarrassed that my nails looked like that. Nail polish was not close to cuticle, left a gap that after a week went by, my nails look as if they were done more than 2 weeks ago. The technician (Jennifer) sounded irritated, tired, or just didn't want to be there and I didn't like the way she treated me. I don't ask for assistance kissing . I was unsure what to expect since I'm new to the area but my oh my my expectations were exceeded! Im sooo in love with my new nails and the service here was very friendly and polite . Tiffany worried me at first thinking my nails weren't going to turn out how I wanted but she underpromised and OVER DELIVERED! They came out exactly how I wanted and somehow better ! When given to another nail tech, I asked before starting if she was able to do my nails as the picture I showed her. She ensured me she could..... needless to say $120 later I am highly disappointed. I have been to this location perhaps 7x. Have yet to receive a great pedicure, love Tony for a manicure. Under new management now. I went last week for a manicure/pedi. Pedi was $70. With shoes and socks it lasted 3 days. Maybe it's the nail polish, maybe it's the person who put it on, maybe it's both. For me, this is the 4th miss out of 7 attempts. I came in for the first time about a week and a half ago. I asked for a spa pedicure and gel manicure. The Nail tech was very friendly, but was a bit aggressive on my skin. She cut my finger while doing my manicure and my toe while doing my pedicure. She scrapped the bottom of my feet aggressively with no need because my feet are in pretty good shape and didn't need the excessive force and left the bottom of my feet too raw. I had a hard time walking for almost a week. I was not offered a discount for the inconvenience or even given an apology. I reached out to the manager and never got a response. I called the spa two times and did not get any response to the inconvenience the tech caused me. I do not recommend this place because my experience was horrible. I went to see Tiffany after a couple of my acrylic nails were falling off from another place. She actually took the time to explain to me why they were coming off because my nail growth underneath was getting longer. I wanted to keep my real nails growing strong so she recommended changing to SNS powder. Not sure why it took this long for someone to explain the reasoning behind why you need to keep your nail short with acrylics because when they grow long they pop off the acrylic tips. I just wish the other salon told me this I wouldn't have wasted my time while I'm trying to grow my nails or wasted money. Thank you so much Tiffany she does beautiful hand paintings 3-D roses, SNS acrylic etc. it's hard to find a really good salon so I did my research on yelp! I totally recommend this shop because anything you find on social media, Tiffany can replicate it or change it up to be different with color, style, etc. I still come back till this day. I called ahead and asked if someone was good at liquid gel nails. All I wanted was natural almond shaped nails instead I got unnatural thick looking claws. The guy was nice, but obviously doesn't specialize in this type of service. He literally pulled out the brush and acetone as if he was about to do acrylic nails. I'm not joking it took him over 2 1/2 hours just to do a fill. He never asked what shape I wanted. I got super pointy nails not the soft almond I always get. Let's talk about his file it had no grit it was way past it's time like dude get a new file man. He applied the product all the way to the cuticle without shaping it properly so it literally looks like press on nails. When I say he applied product he must've put 10 coats of gel. I was shocked! After each coat I thought surely he was done but nope he kept going and going I was in the twilight zone nail edition. Sigh, why do nail salons advertise a service they really don't know how to do. I'm over it I think I'm done with nails. It's literally impossible to find a decent nail tech in my area. This is the third time I have visited Vivian's Nails. The first time it was when they had just opened. The second time I visited I had an ok experience. Yesterday I visited again since the lady that I usually go to did not have availability until Sunday. I needed to have my acrylics refill with gel color. They did accept me as a walk in which I appreciated. They also have a lot if nail colors to choose from which is always a plus. The lady that did my nails was rough a couple of times which is not a very relaxing experience. I asked her if she can fix a cuticle that was bothering me. She said something that I did not understand, but did not seem to happy about it. Overall I did get my nails fixed, which was the whole point anyways. Maybe I will go back, but with someone else. I paid $42. $ 40 for the refill and $2 because one nail had to be replaced. read more
