I ordered the Flaming Brown Sugar Tapioca Milk Tea. After 20 minutes and numbers after my order started to be called, I watched one of the staff pickup the ticket with my order and no drink on it, thinking they were going to then make my drink after realizing it was still sitting there. They did not. I ultimately had to flag down a staff member and give her my receipt with the order. After 30 minutes of waiting, I got my drink with no apology. I've had a lot of bubble tea and this was honestly not great. There was a lot of thick warm syrup at the bottom with the boba, even after mixing. The drink was barely cold and for a brown SUGAR milk tea, it lacked flavor and sweetness. Overall taste was meh and service was poor. read more

Milk tea was extremely watered down and my daughter's tiramisu slushie had no flavor whatsoever.

I ordered one milk tea drink and a popcorn chicken scallion wrap. The drink was prepared within a few minutes but they wouldn't give it to me until my order was complete and the food took about 40 minutes to prepare. The staff were not friendly at all!!! Will never come back to this location. It was also very hot and humid which made waiting 40 minutes even more miserable. read more

" Pink ; cute little tea spot , with lots of love " The service here is the warmest . The tea or slushes ( those are good too ) are made with lots of love and fun. Plus also delicious. The bubble tea was a 3. Kind of watered down and not very strong. The Taiwanese sausages though were delicious. A bit pricey but everything in the market was pricey. I'd get more Taiwanese sausage if I was in the area but I'd skip the bubble tea. read more

Craving Boba, my brother and I were in the area and saw that this was within walking distance. Unfortunately, being located inside of faneuil hall, it was incredibly busy. Luckily, they have a couple of kiosks where you can place your order so that the wait isn't so bad. It took about 10 to 15 minutes for our two drinks to come out. I got the Passion fruit tea and my brother got the blue galaxy drink. We both enjoyed our drinks and I would definitely get his drink in the future since it's a little bit more unique than what you can get at most other shops. Will come again! read more

Visited the Faneuil Hall Marketplace and got Boba Milk Tea at Vivi Bubble Tea. I'm always peculiar about the boba and this was a mid tier it could be softer and more chewable otherwise it was good. I ordered through their self pay machine. Receipt paper printed but with nothing so I felt it was just a waste of paper. The location itself was busy but I think this place did a better job of promoting its boba in comparison to the other shops due to its vibrant signs. read more

Well, visiting Boston, I ended up coming to this place twice! I like the ease of using the screens to put in your order. The Boba tea were delicious. I tried two different ones and liked both. But my favorite thing were the barbecue Taiwanese sausages. I love you so much. I stopped in before we went to the airport and took back home with me. I need to know where I can buy these sausages lol. If you're thinking about them, try it believe me you will love it. read more

When I saw Vivi Milk Tea in Quincy Market, I was immediately drawn to try it. While milk tea doesn't flow through my veins the same way coffee does, it does make for a nice treat! Unfortunately, I was unimpressed and underwhelmed, and, dare I say, it left my mouth feeling dejected. There are only two things that I felt went somewhat well: First, the boba was fresh, and I could get it all with the drink without doing a rescue mission (that I have down to a science). Second, the level of sweetness was very gentle. Though, take this with a grain of salt (sugar?). Other places I've ordered milk tea allow you to customize the sweetness level. The lighthanded use of sugar isn't necessarily revolutionary. I wish I had more praise, but I do not. I felt the tea was very weak and couldn't taste it. I thought I was drinking milky water! It definitely left something to be desired. Then, there is the question of value. I realize and appreciate that location is everything. Downtown Boston, in Quincy Market, is not going to be cheap. At the same time, $8 for a "medium" milk tea with boba seems excessive. Even more so when I say their medium was closer to a small. I might be more forgiving if I was served a cup of heaven. It was a cup of purgatory, at best. Finally, a minor detail: You must enter your phone number to order. I found This requirement to be a bit invasive, given the number of spam calls I already receive. read more

Vivi Bubble Tea is a vendor at Quincy Market - they are one of the few places that serves boba. Since this location is inside Quincy Market (similar to Milwaukee Public Market), seating can be found in the center, but I would recommend just ordering from here to take on a walk downtown. You can order from a kiosk or with a barista in the front. The wait time for a drink was relatively average and it's a little hard to know when your drink is ready. However, the branding on the cups is really cute and instagram worthy. The price point was relatively expensive without toppings included for the size. I ordered a lychee slush, regular sugar with no toppings and was very satisfied with the taste of my drink. I'd go back to try other flavors! read more

Not terrible bubble tea, but not as good as an average chain like Gong Cha. Also more expensive. Over 12 for a large crème brûlée milk tea.

boba is way too soft here for my texture preference. drink is small for price. it's nice that you can order on the ipad though.

I came here today while I was at Faneuil Hall Marketplace. Faneuil Hall is like a Chelsea Market where there's a bunch of vendors here, and Vivi was one of them. I'm familiar with the chain, having been to their locations in NY, Chicago and now Boston. The chain is pretty consistent across the board. I do like that they have self ordering kiosks, where you can key in what you're looking for. My issue is that I can't adjust the sugar level with their POS system. I spoke with staff, a girl came to look at it with me and agreed that it's weird and said I can put it in the notes. However, there's also no note option. I paid for it any way because I was making a big deal and then there's also people behind me. However, she was really accommodating and saw my order and asked if it was me and she wrote down my sugar levels. When my drink was done, I noticed I didn't have bubble in the drink, she apologized immediately and remade it for me. I asked because it's the Vivi Bubble Milk Tea. I would've paid if it didn't include it. Other than that slight hiccup, I have no issues. I enjoyed my drink there. I'd recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for bubble tea and beverages in general -- they do have something for everyone. read more

This is the best bubble tea I've had in a long time. The pearls are perfectly chewy and not hard at all, which is sometimes impossible with other stores. My favorite will always be the Taro Milk Tea with boba and lychee jelly - it's so good!! Although you can't customize the sugar level for some of the drinks there, I told the worker, and they happily changed it for me. Highly recommend! read more
