I was in BOS for work, and I asked the alumni I was visiting where she would like to go, and she asked if we could go to Ten One Tea and I said sure! I let her take the lead, she ordered for us, but I paid, and I had a delicious and refreshing tea. The location was clean and a great place to sit and catch up! Check them out if you are in the area, I hope I'm able to go back one day!

10/10 brown sugar boba!! This was my first time having Ten One. We were visiting Harvard and this one was conveniently located in Harvard Square, so it was an obvious stop for us to come and have. I tried their classic Tie Guan Yin Milk Tea with oat milk and brown sugar boba as my topping. 50% sweetness was just right for me! The milk tea tasted nice and refreshing, definitely was a lot milder with the oat milk. I really loved the brown sugar boba! It had a nice floral-y taste (probably could've been due to the milk tea too) that I really enjoyed). The ordering process is easy, they have two kiosks to the left that you can place your order at as soon as you walk in. Seating's pretty limited, and the place seems most ideal for a quick grab and go.

The slush was quite refreshing and I liked the mango in there as well. The tea drinks were also pretty decent.

Many drinks are out of stock and it seems they have less selection compared to the location in Newbury St. The service is really slow even the place is empty.

I come to their other locations a lot, and have been to the Harvard one before specifically. We saw their sign for the new matcha foam coconut drink, and wanted to try it. I'll start by saying i LOVED the water chestnut popping boba- a nice earthy taste that worked nicely with the drink. I didn't realize the matcha foam was cheesy and initially I was a bit turned off. However... after drinking a couple more sips (and mixing thoroughly) I actually quite liked the drink! It was like a coconut-matcha-cheesecake vibe and the boba made it very refreshing. I got half sugar as well, so the drink was the perfect amount of sweetness for my liking. The worker was pretty fast as well, despite being the only staff there, and was friendly. One of my favorite boba places and always a great place to try a new drink!

Very good milk tea. Not too sugary. Quite different from gong cha and the other chains. I really liked it.

    Milk tea!

This place is fantastic for hanging out, and the milk tea with warm bubbles is delightful. It's impeccably clean, and I absolutely adore it!

The overall vibe is peaceful enough for a work session or a long conversation without feeling like you are occupying a table you should give up. The drinks hold up well across the menu. The passion fruit green tea is the order most people gravitate toward, refreshing and bright with a natural tartness that works particularly well over ice. The taro milk tea is another reliable pick, creamy and subtly sweet in the way a good taro should be, and the passionfruit yogurt slush is worth trying if you want something more textural and fruit forward. The star boba is a fun alternative to standard pearls with a mild fruity flavor that works well in the lighter tea options, and the herbal jelly is worth specifying if you want a less sweet, more earthy addition to the cup. The staff is consistently warm and genuinely helpful in steering you toward something you will enjoy if you are unsure where to start on the menu. The baristas take recommendations seriously rather than defaulting to generic suggestions, and that kind of engagement makes a difference at a spot you might visit regularly. The space is well kept and the overall energy stays relaxed even when the seating area fills up. For a boba shop in Davis Square that delivers on both quality drinks and a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere, Gong Cha is a standout.
