I've been to the Teado in Chinatown many times, but this Central Square location is equally as good if not better It's super spacious and clean with plenty of seating which makes it a great place to hang out or even study. They share a public bathroom with nearby restaurants & also have complimentary water. The staff were really kind and efficient, and all the drinks were delicious. We got the Peach Rose with popping boba and Yasuo & the drinks were refreshing and yummy. There's a big variety of drinks to choose from, and you can even switch out the toppings. Teado is definitely considered affordable compared to other boba shops nowadays. Definitely worth checking out!!

I never knew that Tea Do had opened here in Central Square but I was super ecstatic & decided to check it out. I frequent the location in Chinatown quite often, at least once a week. It's nice and spacious inside. I ordered a large mango smoothie to go and it was great as I expected. The staff worked quick and were friendly. Will definitely be coming here for boba whenever I am around the area.

I usually don't like teado but this sesame smoothie lives in my head rent free. So refreshing and they made it with oat milk on request. Seasonal item but I hope they add it to the menu. Quick service.

Straight fire. Best Boba and onigiri's in Boston. Had to get an extra 2 to go. Must try spot. Most viva places food is... Okay at best. The karage, takoyaki, and onigiri's are genuinely so good, convenient, and addicting. 10/10.

Very nice and simple, the place is a bit hard to find (no outward facing sign) but the boba is very good. The dragon boba milk tea has a nice creamy caramel flavor from the brown sugar, and the pearls are very good quality. The full sugar is a little too sweet for me, but great and quick nonetheless

Came here on a Saturday evening and there was no one else but workers at around 9:30ish. While it was nice how fast and quick service was, it also was a little quieter than I'd expect for a weekend. Nonetheless, the space was super clean and also felt super chic - I think it'd be a great spot to enjoy a drink and maybe get some work done! The fruit tea I got specifically was pretty good - reasonably priced, well made, and the toppings were nice as well. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely stop by if in the mood for a bubble tea!

I was a tiny bit apprehensive to try this spot because I didn't have the best experience at their Chinatown location, but I am glad I gave their Central Square location a chance. They have onigiri and takoyaki in addition to a big drink menu, as well as ample indoor seating and lots of games. Some of the tables are pretty big, so it would be fun to hang out with friends, get drinks and snacks, and play games! I tried the fire dragon (small $5.75, large $6.75) which is just milk with 3 toppings: red bean, grass jelly, and pearls. You cannot change the sugar level in this drink because they don't add any sweetener. It still ends up being mildly sweet because the toppings themselves have default sweetness to them. I was pleasantly surprised by their grass jelly which had a soft texture and did not taste like the canned stuff that a lot of bubble tea shops use. The pearls had a brown sugar flavor and were perfectly cooked through. This is a good drink for people who enjoy red bean because there was quite a bit of it. There are so many toppings that I ran out of milk before I ran out of toppings. I am not sure if the menu explicitly has this information but they do have a few milk alternatives. I originally asked for lactaid, was told they only had oatmilk, and then the person who made my drink ended up using lactaid anyway. I would definitely come back! Their only competitor in Central Square right now is Moge Tee which is more expensive and in my opinion not that good anyway.

Baked salmon onigiri, takoyaki, fruit tea (large)

I have a soft spot for Tea Do -- I've been to its locations in 3 different states, and was surprised to learn several years ago that those were 3 out of only 5 locations total at the time. So it was surprising to me that Tea Do was opening two locations in the Central/MIT area. I've been eyeing the Central location for months and apparently it opened a couple of weeks ago. I finally made my way down there today and got a sampling of their foods. I ordered a large First Love (guava tea) with mango jelly and lychee jelly -- it got mixed up with someone else's drink so instead I ended up having a large peach green tea with aloe jelly. It was still good -- very refreshing, not too sweet. Tea Do's fruit teas are always winners and I love that they have such a wide range of toppings to choose from. My favorite is the star-shaped mango jelly. I would recommend getting 50% sugar if you're getting a topping. This time I also tried their takoyaki and onigiri. The takoyaki were surprisingly very good. It was $5.75 for 6 takoyaki which I thought was pretty reasonable. They seemed very freshly made -- hot and gooey inside with all the usual toppings. I think a lot of restaurants that serve takoyaki as appetizers premake them and deep fry them before serving them, so I was happy about how good the takoyaki were at Tea Do. The one weird thing was that they aren't circular -- they're flat on one side, which makes me think they didn't use the standard takoyaki-making technique. However this was definitely some of the best takoyaki I've had in Boston which was not expected at all -- I'll definitely get it in future visits. The baked salmon onigiri was not that impressive. The salmon was a bit dry and there was a lot more rice than filling compared to what I would usually like. It was over $4 so I wouldn't get it again. Overall I have always loved Tea Do's fruit teas and now I really love their takoyaki. I will definitely be coming back here and am happy they're expanding to Cambridge!

Very cute space with great drinks! I usually don't choose Tea Do over other bubble tea options but in Central Square, there isn't much of a choice . That being said, I've always enjoyed the drinks I have gotten here! They have all of the classics, in addition to some less common choices such as their avocado smoothie, which is surprisingly refreshing and tasty. The staff are always pleasant and the space has plenty of seating and games, making it a great place to hang out and have a chat.

Honey dew melon. Cropped to excess.

Trendy space in ground floor of a new apartment complex in lower Central Square. Good soundtrack, dark ambiance, and plenty of seating. We searched high and low across town to find honey dew melon bubble tea with no success until we found it at Tea-Do. This discovery speaks to the broad menu of classic and fruity milk bubble teas. The honey dew melon tea itself could pass for bubble gum flavor but that's what we were craving. Service was prompt and the sugar level was to our liking. Price was reasonable as well compared to the more fancier places that get you with their one time use heavy plastic cups. As bubble tea shops proliferate in the greater Boston area, Tea Do is worth the stop!

I'm pretty new to the area, and I got a really great first impression here with Tea-Do Central Square! I ended up trying a Peach Oolong tea, and both the tea and boba quality were pretty good. I appreciate the wide variety of options on the menu (including food -- the onigiri is great), which is not to mention the really comfy atmosphere and vibe, and the helpful employees who give me helpful (and tasty) recommendations. I definitely see myself coming here more in the future!

We had already eaten but wanted to grab a drink and couldn't pass up trying a bubble tea spot. So as you'd expect this review is solely for just drinks. Service wise we ordered from the little kiosk which worked well and allowed for plenty of customizing of your drink. That was a positive but also could be a quick way to make your price sky high with most additions being an extra dollar. They give you an order number that will be called when your order is ready. As we were waiting a worker did ask if we were waiting and for our order number and then they seemed to put a rush on making it and they apologized for the wait. Which honestly I did not think we had a long wait but appreciated the staff still. Overall the space for waiting is limited but won't hold that in a negative light since it's a food hall. I grabbed a Mango Fruit Tea with mango popping boba added while my wife got their toasted brown sugar milk tea. Both were pretty good but neither blew us away. My wife did not like the syrup in her brown sugar milk tea, had an odd flavor to it. Maybe we should have picked different drinks that would have impressed more. I would return to give some of their food a try in the future and more drinks though. Friendly staff with decent drinks and located in a very convenient location if you are visiting TD Garden.

We walked into a location that is easy to miss if you are not already familiar with the building, but once inside it functions as a convenient stop when exploring the neighborhood or looking for a quick drink break. The setup is fairly simple, with counter service and access to the shared seating throughout the mall, which gives it a bit more room to sit than a typical standalone shop. The menu is extensive and covers everything from traditional milk teas and fruit teas to some of Happy Lemon's signature cheese foam drinks. The salted cheese series remains one of the more distinctive offerings and is what helped separate the brand from many other bubble tea chains when it first expanded. The combination of sweet tea and lightly salty cheese foam sounds unusual at first, but it creates a balance that works surprisingly well. We ordered the black tea with salted cheese, and the creaminess of the foam against the bold tea base made it easy to see why this drink has built such a following over the years. Beyond the cheese series, there are plenty of options for different preferences. The taro milk tea is a popular choice, while the grapefruit green tea offers something lighter and more refreshing. We appreciated the ability to customize sweetness levels, which is worth taking advantage of since some drinks can lean sweeter than expected at the default setting. The waffle snacks are another menu item that stands out, particularly for anyone looking for something small to pair with their drink rather than ordering tea alone. They come out warm and crisp, making them a nice complement to the cold drinks. Service tends to move quickly, which is important given the steady flow of students, office workers, and shoppers passing through the area. The staff were efficient, and our order was prepared without much of a wait. Being located inside a busy downtown shopping center also makes it a convenient grab-and-go option, though the shared seating in the mall allows for a brief pause if you want to sit and enjoy your drink before heading back out. Happy Lemon remains a reliable stop for the salted cheese series and a broad menu of tea options. It is not a destination in itself, but for a quick drink while exploring Chinatown or the surrounding area, it delivers on consistency and variety without overcomplicating the experience.
