Came here after getting a quick lunch at the restaurant beside it. Seems like it's the only boba place in the area plus it was slow so we didn't have to wait in line for the drinks. I ordered on the kiosk just near the door and my drink came pretty quick. They also had samples that day for some waffles and some tea drink that's new on the menu. I'm sure I'll be back at some point when we are around the area again read more

Needed a boba pick me up in the area and came across this place. I was initially hesitant due to the 3.9 star rating but was VERY surprised by how good it was! The menu is extensive with a variety of options for every pallet, and the pricing is reasonable for Boston. I love that they have unique kinds of Boba, including butterfly pea Boba and dragon fruit Boba made in house. The barista was kind enough to let us sample some of the dragon fruit Boba, which was so fragrant and chewy. I ended up getting the roasted oolong milk tea with 50% sweetness. It was a perfect balance of milk, tea, and sweetness. I will definitely be back to try other menu options! read more

Just taste like watery tea, i am not sure if it supposed to be not sweet. I saw they just basically reheat boba in microwave which mean boba might be from last night because if you just boiled it this morning it wouldn't stick together or get hard read more

Stopped in for the first time and tried their Rose Alpine Oolong Tea with boba ($7.22 for a medium). It was good- light and fresh. When I inquired what the difference in taste was (primarily what the "alpine" taste was) between the Honey Rose tea and the Rose Alpine Oolong Tea, I was informed that the Honey Rose tea is topped off with water, while the Rose Apline Oolong tea is topped off with oolong tea. So, be aware and perhaps ask if the tea drink you're about to order will be "watered down." Also, when I chose a particular topping, the barista refused to add it to the tea drink I was ordering and insisted on another topping choice. So, despite paying $1 extra for a topping, you may be refused your choice. The topping she insisted on (the clear boba pearls) was still good and similar to traditional tapioca pearls. For lactose intolerant people who want to drink a milk tea, Ten One offers both lactose-free milk and oat milk. They also offer two ordering kiosks, which look to cut down time considerably, and the drinks come out in a timely manner. You can order at the counter, too. Good boba tea, a bit pricey, especially considering they water down some of their drinks, no indoor or patio seating, but overall a decent experience. read more

Their new CROFFLE is SOOO GOOD! It comes fresh and warm. Super light and airy and a perfect combination of a croissant and waffle. I love the texture it is a crispy and fluffy! My only regret is not getting 10 more because I ate the whole thing in 2 seconds :((( I also really liked the boba on top of it because the boba sugar syrup goes so well with the croffle. Absolutely the best to go snack that I will definitely be coming back for! read more

I tried the seasonal taro green milk tea. The real taro tasted good but green milk tea was nonexistent. Tried my friend's matcha latte and that was either fake stuff or poorly prepared, low quality matcha. Employees were friendly. Order to-go only. read more

Very nicely deep brewed tea!! I ordered a rose milk tea with brown sugar boba and it was sooo delicious. The tea flavor was very strong which I love. Most places taste so milky/watery. They also sell jelly which is very delicious. I got mine topped with boba. Staff was very nice and attentive. read more

Two employees standing behind the counter while customers are having trouble using the kiosks? Check Ordering a reduced sugar drink only to get one that tastes like it has 500% sugar? Check Two employees standing behind the counter while a customer struggles to get the straw slot open in the drink cover because the plastic tab was still fused to the cover? Check I would suggest they focus less on selling tote bags and more on drinks and operations infrastructure; I also understand there's some sort of satisfaction policy, but 1) that doesn't (and shouldn't have to) take the place of a satisfactory product and experience to begin with and 2) I would be more satisfied, and I would even pay extra, for a satisfactory experience the first time. read more

As someone who frequently Assembly a decent amount, Ten One is a spot I return to often! Their drinks and toppings are on the pricier side, but I have yet to get a poorly made drink yet after the 5+ times I've visited over the past few months. The storefront is rather small so it's much more of a order, pickup, leave rather than sit and sip spot. Drinks never take longer than a few minutes upon placing an order and it's easy to do over one of the two kiosks they have set up. You can also order up at the front if that's more your speed. I enjoy their fruity drinks with aloe, however their milk tea is also a solid option. Their taro is also nice as it's made with real taro root, not powder. Overall, a very solid spot if you're craving bubble tea in the Assembly area; more expensive than other chains, but still tasty nonetheless! read more

This store is located in Asembly Row which is usually hard to find street parking but I lucked out and found a spot a few stores away. I'd never visited before but I was in the area and craved bubble tea. Locating the store initially was a headache. I passed by it a couple times but I ultimately located it. It was close to closing but the worker was really nice and patient while I browsed through the menu. This was the best bubble tea I've had in a while. The boba was cooked perfectly and it was sweet like candy. I'll definitely recommend if you're in the area. read more

When I called on the phone, they said they don't take phone orders. Instead, they are on delivery apps. I ended up ordering via Yelp, fulfilled by Grubhub. I had a large Osmanthus Alpine Oolong tea with green tea jelly ($8.30). The jelly was in the shape of hearts and had a faint taste of tea. I chose to get "regular" amount of sugar. I thought this amount was acceptable, but would have preferred the drink to be more sweet. I feel this drink was less on the sweet side and more on the tea side. Next time I would try to see if I could get more sugar. When I arrived to pick up my drink, there were several customers waiting for their drinks. I waited for my turn and received my drink exactly as I ordered, with no issues. read more

Good boba but not exceptional! I got a brown sugar milk tea with less ice. The tea flavor was okay and the boba itself was cooked really well and perfectly sweet! I think the drink itself could've used more brown sugar because it wasn't quite sweet enough and I couldnt taste much of the toasty brown sugar flavor. Inside of the store is really clean and cute though! read more

Boba tea shoppe with fun flavored bobas. They have your typical tea with milk and other traditional flavors like oolong, earl grey, green. They also have matcha, and fruity teas too. Slushies were on the menu too! Cute containers of jelly are on display in the refrigerated case. Oolong, earl grey, matcha, honey, brown sugar tea were to list a few. Too full to try but hope to be back to try some! read more

A cute small shop, a type of place where you order and go. There's no chairs available to sit. They have tablets for easy ordering and the menu is displayed on the wall. I love how they used organic whole milk for their drinks. I got the rose milk tea with brown sugar boba. It was yummy and the boba was nice, chewy and lots of brown sugar flavor. We also got mango green tea with white boba. The mango puree made it very flavorful and it was super refreshing! But, I thought the white boba was crystal boba. I can't wait to come back and try their other drinks, as they have a big variety. I read a review about how amazing the croissant waffle was, so I had to get it. I bit into it right away, definitely was not made fresh and sitting out. Not sure what the hype was. I took a bite and threw it to the birds on the grass. read more

The best boba in Boston. Fight me. I really like this location in particular. Their brown sugar boba is usually cooked well and has a distinctive brown sugar taste. There's no seating and it's grab-and-go, but very fast and usually not crowded whenever I go. read more

A cute bubble tea store in assembly, with flavors better than the average chain bubble tea shop. Food I've tried: - CHOCOLATE MILK TEA ($5.50): there was unexpectedly a stronger flavor of tea than I expected, but it was a pleasant addition to the chocolate milk flavor. The tea added a depth that made the drink more interesting. As with other stores you can adjust the sweetness and ice levels. Atmosphere: - A small store with take outs only, no seating. Service: - Despite the long line, the drink came out relatively fast. Overall: - Better than average flavor, with prices being on the higher end of the boba spectrum. read more

I really wanted to like the bubble tea here, but every order I've placed here has been a dud. There are no limits to the choices of bubble tea in Boston so the bar is pretty high to be at least pretty good. The matcha tea here is way too bitter, the cold foam topping way way too salty (tasted like I was drinking ocean water) ... every flavor here just seems off balance and it kind of kills the refreshing nature of bubble tea. The location itself is really cute and minimalist, I just wish the tea flavors would taste better... read more

This place is a cute little shop in Assembly Row. There are not many good boba places in town so I have been trying different ones to find something I like. Unfortunately this is not it. 1/ Drink/Taste: 3/5 Boba is chewy, cooked well, but very sweet depending on what toppings you get. The butterfly boba and the brown sugar boba are super sweet. Tea flavor is missing a bit here. I cannot taste the fragrant tea flavor. We got 4 drinks: 3 milk teas and 1 fruit tea. Milk was also missing too from the milk tea. They only added a little bit of oat milk. Overall, the flavors did not go very well together. 2/ Price: 3.5/5 Not cheap, but not insanely expensive. However, for the drinks we got, they were not that great to be over $7/each. However, I do recognize they are in a little shopping strip, so maybe it costs a lot for rent here 3/ Overall: 3/5 Really wanted to like this place because it is sooo cute, but I have tried so many boba places in the world and this one unfortunately does not quite make the cut. It is not terrible, so I may come back one day for a quick boba fix but definitely not something memorable. read more

Very fitting for Ten One to open on national boba day! The location is very small - no seating at all. We ordered the lavender milk tea and the lavender forest with dragonfruit boba. The lavender milk tea had a nice lavender presence and I definitely enjoyed that. As for the lavender forest, there was hardly a lavender taste. It was basically a fruit tea but the dragonfruit boba was good. Overall it was pricey for the size and $1/topping is higher than most boba places. Solid boba but too pricey for what it is. 3 stars but plus 1 for offering lavender choices. read more

love this place so much. my partner is a big fan of the osmanthus oolong, though i usually get a fruit tea or wintermelon (whenever it's available) caveat: i don't love their brown sugar boba and haven't tried their croissant waffle but i've heard good things ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ i also love the insulated reusable bag that you can add onto your purchase! read more

Finally a boba shop in Assembly Row! Another great news is that they sell mochinuts from Pon De Joy! Mochinut locations are located in Brighton, Chinatown and Worcester. Now I have to be a regular just for the mochinuts :) They are $3.95 each and a small discount if you buy three or half a dozen. Love the chewy texture and strong sesame flavor. I got the boba Tiguyan with no ice and sugar and the drink came out perfect (strong tea flavor). I agree with other reviewers that boba is pricier than other competitors ($1.00 vs $0.50) but could be inflation where all boba shops are increasing their prices on add ons? Upon entering, you can self order on machine or go straight up to the staff. I saw some unique pastries on the shelf. Will report back the next time I visit. read more

We have been needing a boba place in this area for a long time! I love the menu at Ten One and that you can make your own selections on a kiosk. They have a really big selection of drinks and you can choose your ice amount, sugar percentage and there is also a selection of dairy-free milks. I also love all the variations of bobas and jellies. I got an earl grey milk tea with oat milk and heart shaped jelly, and my boyfriend got the brown sugar boba tea. So good! They are a bit expensive but its worth it once in a while! read more

I ordered the Peach Yakult Slush with Peach Panna Cotta and it was definitely not worth the price. I also added coconut jelly to it and it ended up being $10. I don't think I've been paid that much for a non alcoholic drink before. The panna cotta itself wasn't that tasty, but the drink itself was good. I might come back to try the other drinks since those price points are lower, but it does cost an extra dollar per topping. read more

To sum it up: good boba (not amazing) but very overpriced. It was about $7 for a drink. I ordered a strawberry milk tea (which was seasonal) and was super happy to see it came with fresh fruit. I wish they had more fruit options like passionfruit or something. The boba pearls are small, but pretty sweet and plentiful. Customer service was extremely friendly; I came on a busy Saturday and they were super patient. They also have non-dairy options! I would maybe come again if I was craving boba and in the area, but it isn't something I would go out of my way for. read more

I was happy that they opened a Ten One in Assembly so I can get some boba after shopping. The location was pretty small *There is no seating at all* so if it's crowded expect to wait outside. However I do like that they have a kiosk that you can take a look at and order since you can adjust your drink however you like. Went 4/29, the day before their official opening, they are close to Banana Republic in Assembly. Pros: Tight storefront but there is a self ordering machine you can help yourself and they will give you an estimate time and text you when your drink it's ready. Cons: disappointed with the flavor and taste, can barley taste any tea. Super strong milk powder flavor similar to instant milk tea. Got 70% sugar level and it's way too sweet still. read more
