It took a really long time for the one employee in their store to make their 2 drinks and a really long time for them to make my drink. I think the employee was new because they had to call the owner and read a binder. This was all okay and the employee was nice. I ordered a large and was charged that, but I think I got a medium and due to it taking so long, I decided not to dispute it. The drink also was very sweet and the flavors felt off. It is nice they have coconut milk as an option though because I don't react well to dairy or oatmilk.

I enjoyed their fruit drinks the most, notably the ones revolving around mango. For the most part though, everything is pretty solid. Their service has always been consistent, efficient at taking orders and quick to make drinks. They don't have seating space, but this is a spot that you mostly just grab and go. I'm sure I'll go back in the future if ever at the mall again - good spot with reasonable prices and nice service!

They have the classic tea options along with smoothies, fruit juices and several decaf options which is great since my bf is trying to avoid caffeine drinks. I got their brown sugar boba milk tea and my bf got one of their decaf coconut drink, both with boba. The boba was yummy and the brown sugar tea was also very good and not too sweet. Both drinks had the perfect amount of ice and boba. What a treat! The service was quick and there is an option to order on the flat screen or in person. There are a few stools to sit but not too much seating. Will definitely be back!

I told her I'm mostly a basic boba drinker that goes for Thai milk tea normally, but I really like lychee. She recommended a great tea, and when asked about the boba add-ons I wasn't sure and she said, I'll surprise you. She had a lychee boba that was reminiscent of the lychee jellies I used to like in my college days. I really appreciate a place that will make recommendations and take some of the stress of ordering off away from me. 2. They have a unique menu and it rotates seasonally! 3. All the teas are pretty much the same price. 4. The business has a chill vibe and plenty of space to lounge and hang out. 5. The tea flavor was great, it had a nice citrus incorporation. Summery and tasty with the fun aftertaste of the lychee Highly recommend this place, go check it out

Tea-Do is a casual bubble tea shop and Asian café that offers a mix of drinks, snacks, and light…read moremeals in a relaxed downtown Lowell setting. We walked into a cozy space with seating by the windows, a clean interior, and music playing in the background, with a few small touches that made it feel more like a place to hang out rather than just a quick drink stop. The café has a comfortable, unpretentious energy that fits the neighborhood well, and the layout makes it easy to settle in for a bit. The main draw is the drink menu, with a variety of milk teas, fruit teas, smoothies, and slush-style drinks. We found the drinks solid for satisfying a bubble tea craving, but they leaned more on the sweeter side and did not stand out as much compared to some of the stronger boba spots nearby. The flavors were enjoyable, but the drinks felt a little lighter and less rich than expected, with the tea notes not coming through as strongly as we would have liked. That said, the customization options for sweetness and toppings helped tailor the drinks to our preferences. Beyond drinks, Tea-Do also offers a selection of snacks and small meals. Items like the onigiri and takoyaki added more variety than a typical bubble tea shop, making it a better option if you want something to eat with your drink. The shrimp tempura onigiri was a nice choice for a quick bite, with the rice holding together well and the filling adding a good contrast of texture and flavor. The food menu helps give the café more personality and makes it feel like a more complete stop rather than just a place to grab a drink. Service was friendly, and the atmosphere made it a comfortable place to stop by, especially when we wanted somewhere casual to relax for a bit. The staff were welcoming and handled the flow of orders without delays. The space is not designed for large groups, but it works well for studying, catching up, or taking a break while exploring Lowell. The seating area stays comfortable even when the café is busy, and the energy remains low-key throughout the visit. Tea-Do is a decent neighborhood boba spot that does the basics well. The drinks can satisfy a bubble tea craving, but there are other places with stronger flavors and more memorable drinks. The café atmosphere and food options are what make it worth checking out, offering a casual, comfortable stop that feels more like a local hangout than a dedicated bubble tea destination.

Ever since the Tall Man and I stumbled across it back in 2019, only a couple months after they opened, we've made it our go-to local boba shop. I like my boba drinks quite simple, and being dairy free also limits my options. I nearly always get the classic black or green bubble tea sweetened with honey, with less ice and 30-50% sugar. The bubbles are a good chewy texture, never over cooked, and slightly but not overly sweet like Kung Fu Tea's. Without fail, the Tall Man gets a taro milk tea or smoothie ("tea" isn't quite the right term, since there's zero tea thus zero caffeine) with mango popping boba. A creamy winner that's less sweet than competitors'. They also sell ice cream (typical flavors, although I wish they would offer Chinese/Taiwanese ones like taro and matcha) and used to have cake, but I haven't seen the pastries lately. A couple things to note: - The owner is very kind and runs the place with her family. At times she's the only one there, though. If there's a wait (mostly gaggles of high school students), be patient, and she'll get your order right. - Over the years, I've learned not to show up in the first 30 minutes after opening, to ensure that the boba is ready (the tapioca balls need to be cooked, then sweetened and preferably cooled down). It's possible the owner has changed her preparations since the early years, but this is now an engrained habit of mine so I haven't been there early enough to verify. - Not open on Mondays, including holidays that happen to be Mondays (like this year's July 4th).
