They have the classic tea options along with smoothies, fruit juices and several decaf options which is great since my bf is trying to avoid caffeine drinks. I got their brown sugar boba milk tea and my bf got one of their decaf coconut drink, both with boba. The boba was yummy and the brown sugar tea was also very good and not too sweet. Both drinks had the perfect amount of ice and boba. What a treat! The service was quick and there is an option to order on the flat screen or in person. Such a cute little boba shop In Arlington on the Main Street! Drinks are a little price for $6.50 for a milk tea, but it's the only one around. For the quality and flavor, it's a solid choice! I got the bubble nation signature drink, which is their milk tea with pudding, boba and red bean. The boba is cooked perfectly and very soft and chewy! Matcha lemon clementine is very refreshing and little to none matcha flavor but I don't mind that lemon clementine flavor. Both solid choices. Many other good stuff on their menu. My drink today tasted like..... it gave up. I seem to forget this whenever I decide to give this shop another chance. I had a craving and Thai Moon didn't have bubbles yet, so I waited for Bubble Nation to open at 12, thinking that at least i'd be getting the first batch of bubbles. The taro milk tea is bland and the bubbles are very obviously cooked with water (not in a brown sugar syrup) and they tasted like they had been washed and rinsed. I had a couple sips and tossed the rest, not really worth drinking. All drink are around $7 with tapioca too, which is tough considering the cups are smaller than they used to be too. I hope that one day bubble nation will become the Arlington bubble tea gem that it so desperately deserves. read more

A solid bubble tea place in Arlington! It's a small shop but it's always very bright and clean. The drinks are standard and on the pricier side but it's not a chain so don't feel too bad paying more for the drinks. They do the sugar levels which is great! They also offer macaroons and other sweets as well. They've also been rolling out seasonal drinks so there's always something new to try when you visit. Gong Cha or Cha-Time it ain't. I think if I'm in the mood for a cold sugar bomb, I'll just walk across the street to Starbucks and get one of their iced coffees next time. I just noticed that I never reviewed Bubble Nation. I have come here many times over the past year and a half, and it has been a fantastic addition to Arlington center. The interior of the store is tastefully decorated, but unfortunately in the COVID era that's no longer relevant. Their fruit teas/sparkling fruit drinks are probably the best. You can't go wrong with those! I especially like lemon clementine or grapefruit or tropical. They have lots of great toppings plus some unique ones like mango stars or strawberry hearts. Their milk teas are also great - they are non-dairy by default and still have that classic taste. The boba is okay. Prices are on the higher end ($5 for standard milk tea), but nothing too crazy. All in all, the drinks here are not my favorite of all time, but they are definitely a 5 star for me for their location. If they were located in Chinatown or Allston where the competition is more fierce, it would be a 4. The owners are very friendly and put a lot of care into running their business. They are also a small local business and not a franchise like Gong Cha, so be sure to support them! read more

So as usual I went to yelp and saw this place and some and my friend decided to grab something for us to sip on our way ride home. We grabbed two brown sugar milk. Feeling somewhat adventurous today, I chose the bubble nation tea with decaf. I'd never had red bean nor jelly in my bubble tea before. For such a large portion, it was on the cheaper side. I've had bubble tea about 2/3 of that size that was more expensive. Anyway, it was really good, with the red bean flavor giving the milk tea a subtly fruity, fragrant taste. I kept sucking on my straw to find more grainy red bean pieces. The boba itself and the jelly seemed tasteless to me but I didn't really care. Average bubble tea, but it's nice having something new in Arlington Center. It's a perfect place to hit up after brunch or a violin lesson, and their teas are quite unique. Teas are around 5 to 6 dollars, which isn't half bad, and you can order online, which is awesome in terms of convenience and COVID safety. Their cold teas are definitely better, so I'd recommend ordering one of those. My favorite tea order is their Classic with plenty of sugar (what can I say, I have quite the sweet tooth). My favorite non-tea order is the Mango Slush. If you're stopping by Arlington Center and looking for a snack, hit this place up! Don't expect the best tea you've ever tasted, but it's a good place. Great new place that's opened up in Arlington! The closest bubble tea place is in Davis Square so I'm glad that Arlington now has a store. Friendly service and the menu offers a wide variety from fizzy fruity drinks to those looking for a strong tea flavor. I got the jasmine milk tea with bubbles and less sugar and was really glad that it didn't taste very sweet. Unfortunately I was disappointed to find that the bubbles were NOT honey (or sweetened) boba. If I knew that I would have gotten another topping because unsweet boba is tasteless to me! Prices are also slightly high, although they only have one size (which I believe is a large size at other stores). A drink will cost you around $4.5 -$6. Friendly service. The drinks are pricey, but that's because they only have 1 size (large). Unfortunately, the time i went, they ran out of milk tea & bubbles! Those are the two main staples for a boba shop. I still was able to try the matcha tea with pudding jelly. The pudding jelly was different than what I'm normally used to. I was expecting a black (nata) jelly, but it was a white jelly. The texture was a bit grittier than your typical jelly too but it tasted fresh and yummy. It wasn't overly sweet. I always test out a new bubble tea place with a standard milk tea with bubbles (6.15$+tax, it was 50c more bc I got it hot). It was... fine. The bubbles were pretty flavorless, not sweet at all, and they were weirdly small? The size took a bit to adjust to, bc it was the perfect size to accidentally swallow whole haha. If there are a few people, the online orders seem to get the least priority. On several occasions, the drinks aren't even started on arrival. Fantastic bubble tea (+ some of the best boba you will find), with incredibly friendly and nice owners! It was such a pleasure going on opening day today. My wife and I tried 3 bubble teas: 1.) Jasmine Milk tea with Bubbles 2.) the Classic 3.) the Bubble Nation I have to say, this is one of the few (only?) bubble tea places where you can taste the tea itself. Its a really nice change. Also, the boba is by far the best Ive had (comparison to Kung Fu tea and Gong Cha - which I view as the best) Even though I really liked the Jasmine milk tea, the Bubble Nation tea was my favorite I think. The red bean taste was so good. It actually really surprised me with how well it worked with the tea. As far as the place itself, the owners seemed to successfully handle an influx of people that would have shutdown a mall today. Instead of being stressed out, they were friendly and accommodating to everyone. It was a pleasure watching. So happy that Bubble Nation opened in Arlington!! :) Update #1: came back and tried 3 more: 1.) the Signature 2.) the Classic (this time I got my own :)) 3.) the Earl Grey Milk Foam The Signature has now become my favorite. This place is great! I'm so happy they've finally opened up shop in Arlington Center - it's so nice to have something different. I've been a few times and have tried a couple different teas. I really liked The Adventurer, which is an Earl Grey tea with milk foam. The milk foam is light and sweet and totally delicious. I have to say though that my favorite is The Classic milk tea with boba. I appreciate that their drinks are not overly sweet. The texture of the boba is spot on! The owners are super nice too. Great drinks, taro was packed with flavor. The classic was as I'd expect for any good milk tea. If you get double bubbles, it'll fill up about 1/5th of the tall cup, I'd say decent for a snack. I might triple or quadruple it on my next order though since I love chewing on those bubbles. read more

So happy to find a fantastic bubble tea place in Arlington! The staff are always very inviting and pleasant when you go in. They are also dog friendly so that's a big plus! Their classic bubble tea is so good. My dad gets the strawberry slush with boba and he likes it as well. We also treat ourselves to this. Their boba is always soft and chewy but not overly sweet. So happy this place opened in Arlington! The store is bright and open and very clean. The staff is always friendly and are happy to explain anything on the menu. I've been here 10 times already, maybe more, and I still havnt tried all the flavor combos I want! I'd like to support non-chain mom-and-pop shops like these, but I think when it comes to bubble tea you're better off going to more renowned places like Gong Cha. First time trying the drinks here yesterday and I got the Mango Passionfruit slush ($4.50 no toppings). I asked if they use the real fruit to make the drink and the staff said they use a passionfruit jam which I saw a big tub of in the back. Friends got Thai Milk Tea with pudding ($5.50), matcha waffle ($2.50), and "Special" matcha w/ red bean slush ($5). We got our drinks fairly quickly since there weren't any orders ahead of us. I tried a sip of mine and it was just TOO DARN syrup-sugary. Hugely so, that I wish they could allow you to adjust the sugar content like most other boba places do. I wasn't really digging the fruit flavors either. They were there (even had some odd chunks of what seemed like dried gummy mango) but didn't taste like the actual fresh fruits themselves. Comparing these to my bubble tea tastings in Taiwan (birthplace of boba), where I've had the real whole passionfruit in my drinks (shout out to Coco's 百香果绿茶), this was a sadly artificial opponent. Couldn't finish more than 1/2 of it before deciding to toss it... My friend that got the Thai Tea with pudding said hers was too sweet too and she tossed hers out.
