I've been happy with what I've gotten here, and sometimes I'll grab something sweet too, especially the Portuguese egg tart. It's part of the food court, so there are tables if you want to sit, though I usually just grab my things and go. Their cakes are also great for birthdays. My sister loves the green tea cloud cake. It's light and fluffy and definitely one of her favorites. There's a whole lot of parking, though it really depends on the timing because it can get busy. Overall Service: Very pleasant. I visited on a Monday about 3:30pm and there were plenty of cakes and pastries on display. I ordered a slice of Green Tea Cloud Cake ($8.50), Choco Cloud Cake ($8.50), and a large Iced Honey Lavender Matcha Latte ($6.75). Slices are a great option without committing to a full cake and you can get different slices. I really enjoyed the Green Tea Cloud Cake. The green tea is not overpowering at all and the cake is not overly sweet. The cake is light and fluffy. Definitely check out Tous Les Jours if you are in H Mart!

So she blew about sixty bucks on a whole slew of different sweet little things for us to all sample. And, guess what...we realized that we hadn't been missing anything. Well, except for the undeniably pleasant and elegant European cafe ambiance, especially the wonderfully high ceilings---which I think is what you're really paying for. Service was also decent. Appreciated that they had self-serve water; it was too late in the evening for us caffeine-sensitive folks to try their coffees. The desserts? Beautifully presented of course, but very so-so. Bland as hell, in other words---I mean, I appreciate the lack of over-sugaring (cough cough, Dunkin Donuts) but you could hardly taste any other flavors: the tiramisu barely had any coffee liqeur in it, the pistachio cherry tart had barely any pistachio flavor, and the blue/blackberry cheesecake cup tasted more like berries on top of whipped cream than actual cheesecake. I've had similar desserts from Whole Foods that were much better---richer and tastier by a significant margin, and at 1/2 to 2/3 of the price. The only one that was better-than-mediocre was the lemon mint tart (nice tangy lemon, imperceptible mint). Oh and the chocolate sandwich cookie was decent. I could see coming here just to loiter and work on a laptop or read a book, in which case I'd buy a coffee or tea because I had to. But wouldn't bother with the desserts. Come to think of it, even Starbucks has better desserts. Maybe their savory dishes are better? I'd certainly hope so. But, it's easy to understand why this chain seems to do well...most folks are easily wowed by the sheer aesthetics of the place, such that they don't really mind or care if their tastebuds are being put to sleep despite the price premium they're paying.
