My sister introduced me to Fruitee Yogurt and i've been here 3 times since. It is a small yogurt shop with many yogurt options but very little seating options, especially since a lot of teenagers like to hang out there so we've had to order to-go cups a few times or just stood outside. Fruitee Yogurt is a by weight of cup yogurt place, so you the more it weighs, the more you pay. They offer a small, medium and large size cups. They have plenty of yogurt flavor options and they change them every once in a while but they always seem to run out of flavors. I like the variety of toppings too. They range from fruits to nuts to chocolate to cereal toppings and much more. I actually appreciate that they kept the covid limitations and someone from the staff has to prepare your yogurt bowl for you. I think it's more sanitary and more organized. Yes, it does create a line of people waiting to order but there is only one scale for check out anyway so it makes sense. Plus, there are mutiple people working the yogurt filling section and the weighing and payment section. I recently got the strawberry lime sorbet and the regular yogurt and added fruits and nuts and boba popping balls for toppings. I absolutely loved it. My entire family loves this place.

Fruitee Yogurt used to be really good around 5-7 years ago! But the management is very odd now because although the couple is very respectful and nice, they don't allow customers to self serve their yogurt and toppings. They probably started doing this for pandemic reasons but they don't even wear gloves, so it seemed a bit counterproductive. Also know that the place doesn't offer samples Aside from these details, the yogurt was just not very tasteful for me. To my memory, it used to be a lot sweeter, but now the yogurt seems to have more of a slushy watery taste. Overall, I just wish they went back to their old ways

My go-to! Lots of flavor options and so many toppings. I suggest salted caramel and the nutella crispy! Definitely would recommend!

Cheap froyo, watered down, obviously from pre mix. Really upsetting as it had no creamy texture or flavor.

Love Rancatore's, a local icecream and frozen yogurt spot that I have come to since I was a kid…read more They have rotating homemade flavors so you can always enjoy something different. There's classic flavors like cookie dough, but also more unique ones like ginger snap molasses. Today I tried the cocoa joel--chocolate icecream with chocolate chips and oreo pieces. It was creamy and the oreo pieces and chocolate paired nicely together. I usually like getting a cup or cone, which sizes range from micro to large. Or if you want to get a frappe you can do that as well! They also sell pints to go and ice cream cakes which is a nice option. A little pricey but it's homemade so you pay for the quality. Sometimes there is a line but usually it moves quickly. Lots of seating inside or you can take it to go and eat outside around the center if the weathers nice. Pro tip: They have complimentary magnets you can take one as a souvenir!

What is the best ice cream place in Metropolitan Boston?…read more I am in no position to say. I come from Texas. Blue Bell is Texas's idea of ice cream. Blue Bell makes Hood's look like Berthillon in Paris. So when I show up in the Bay State, I am very very happy to take whatever ice cream I can get. * * * That said, a lot of very smart ice cream people say that Rancatore's is number one. My hosts were agnostic about the question of #1 vs #2 vs #3. But there was little doubt in their minds that Rancatore's is in the top echelon of what Boston has to offer. I can say with 100% confidence that both Cocoa Joel and Espresso are better than anything I can get at home. * * * How does Rancatore's rate compared to Toscanini's, Christina's, Emack and Bolio's, Crescent Ridge, Colleen's, Chill on Park, Gracie's, Jamie's, Third Time, Sweet and Comfy, Ron's, Far Out, Gerly's, J. P. Licks, Lazy Bear, Picco, New City or the East Coast multi-state chains we don't get in Texas like Van Leeuwen or the 148 other local establishments I did not mention? * * * Well, technically, to make this judgement, One would want to try six or eight different flavors from each establishment ... Plus any specialty items they have such as ice cream sandwiches or elaborate milk shakes. One would have to eat lot of ice cream to make a fair unbiased judgement based on a reasonably representative sampling of offerings. Just a whole whole lot of Boston ice cream. * * * When can I start?
