I ordered lunch from here via a catering service, which offered us a limited menu. There were still decent option on the menu and plenty to choose from. Since I didn't walk into the restaurant myself, I can't speak on the ambiance. I can speak on the food though. I ordered a Greek chicken wrap. I can only speak about the matcha latte because that was all I ordered today but I was really pleasantly surprised. I am pretty picky about matcha and was unsure what to expect but I was excited when I saw the employees making it with a whisk and bowl- the matcha was not premade or pre sweetened (I think). It was also not overly milky. The employees were VERY nice while I was there and were working together to fill all the orders. I was surprised by the negative reviews and noticed a lot of them were about price. The prices were somewhat high but comparable to other cafes in the area. My Belgian waffle was undercooked and lacked the promised whipped cream. Instead, it was served in a cardboard box leaking syrup. The omelet was just okay. For the prices charged, the food should be better. But I might overlook mediocre food except for how surly the service is. This place is extremely overpriced. They up charge on every little thing and it's extremely disappointing because I used to enjoy their food. It's just not worth paying $20+ for a simple breakfast burrito. I eat here all the time because there's not a lot of options for my dietary needs but it ends up costing me $30 in the end for a burrito and hot chocolate. I get a classic cheese burrito but I add avocado +3, spinach +1, side of chipotle +.50¢, sub egg whites +50¢ Then the hot chocolate is $5.50 then up charge of a $1.00 for oat milk (This is all door dash prices because I usually get this while I'm at work, but the prices are still insane on their website) The other week I ordered online to pick up and I forgot to add the chipotle sauce onto my order. When I went in to pick up I asked for one, ready to pay for it and the cashier couldn't find the button for it and yelled at me for forgetting to add it to my order. I eat here all the time and 1 time I forget the .50¢ chipotle up charge and you yell at me because you can't find the button? Nice. read more

This spot is inside a plaza with plenty of parking. Ordered a "Blackbird Bomb Breakfast Bowl", which is described as "Two eggs over easy, with sautéed red onion, green pepper, mushrooms, sausage & bacon, smothered with cheddar-jack cheese with smoky chipotle sauce on the side served in a bowl over baby spinach, home fried potatoes & quinoa." What I liked about the bowl is the over easy eggs and the chipotle sauce. I was disappointed that most of the bowl is spinach. When you look at the bowl from the top, it looks like everything is portioned very well. When you dig inside the bowl, you will find that what looks good on the top is actually a front for all the spinach underneath. There was not enough of everything else. There was NOT a lot of onion + pepper + mushroom + sausage + bacon + potatoes, which I was looking forward to. When I say not a lot, I mean probably few small bites worth. Plus, the description says smothered with cheese but apparently they don't know what smother means because there was not a lot of cheese. Overall, not a great impression. Packing was very convenient, there is plenty of parking in this little plaza. Going in, we chose a comfortable spot to sit and we ordered from the menu on our phones. This bowl was perfect and had everything I wanted which includes eggs, potatoes, quinoa, veggies, guacamole I added on, chipotle sauce, ketchup, sausage, and I'm probably missing a few more. Don't believe Yelp when it's says there is a 60-70 min wait. It said the today and we walked in to there being 2 people inside. The food was fast and there is table service meaning they bring you what you ordered. Our drinks came out within minutes and the chai was so hot we had to wait 20 for it to cool enough to drink. It had a frothy head with a good amount of spices on top. Our food came in 10 min. I got the Strega Nona and my husband the Baconator bowl with no quinoa. We enjoyed our meals a lot. The omelette cake with a balsamic glaze across the top-just like Blaze Pizza. The pesto comes on the side. I was not so sure about the pesto with an omelette but it was quite good: the pesto was incredibly delicious. I used it for dipping my home fries into and spending on my omelette and used it all up. Highly recommend. The Rye toast was made perfectly for my liking -crunchy and the melted butter that comes on it had to be Kerrygold. It's so awesome. I ordered the Johnny cash lunch bowl and although I was really looking forward to it since it was a very pretty looking dish, the flavors did not meet my expectations. I thought the chicken tasted a little funny, possibly old. I wasn't a fan of the red peppers, they were cold and I was expecting them to be freshly grilled and not soggy. I will say they do give a generous amount of avocado so I was happy about that. The corn was a good addition, I liked the sweet bursts throughout the meal. Hands down Burlington's most expensive basic breakfast sandwiches. What happened to the days when you tip when you sit down and eat. Now the customers pay for the under paid worker in the kitchen and credit card processing fees even when you are using a debit card.
