If I could give this place 6 stars I would. Yego brings high quality Rwandan coffee here to Teele square, and a welcome, inviting space to enjoy it in. The staff and owners (Francois and Fatuma) are the nicest people you will meet. The beans are sourced from the owners family farm, they are roasted on site, and it's brewed fresh, just for you. read more

My friend and I came to Yego on a Saturday morning and were able to find seating. I decided to get a vanilla latte. The latte art was really cute. I love the details and care that went through making the coffee. The latte is not overly sweet. They have syrup by the door where you can adjust the sweetness on your own. I did not find the coffee acidic, and it was smooth to drink. The price was also quite reasonable. Overall, this place was not bad. I happened to drive by with my windows open while they were roasting beans, so I had to stop. While I was there I had an amazing pour over using their own beans grown in Rwanda and roasted in-house. Since then, I've been back numerous times and have bought their light roast for at-home brewing. This place is legit one of the best coffee spots in the area with a great staff and ownership team. read more

Yego is an amazing addition to West Somerville. It's been years since Teele Square had a real coffee shop, and Yego meets that need with delicious food and drinks. The espresso is very good, made from Rwandan beans. The owners, Fatuma and Francois, are friendly and welcoming. The decor is simple, with photos of the coffee-making process. Yego serves a variety of pastries and coffee drinks, but for me, their chai is the star. Yego serves the best chai I've had. The spices are varied and balanced. American-style chai is usually made from a pre-mixed syrup. A good place will make their own syrup in-house, but the chai at Yego tastes better than any pre-mixed-syrup chai. read more
