First service. Ordered the red bean milk and curly fries which was buy 1 and get 1 free at ubereat. I hope they have plum seasoning.

Cute spot to get refreshing treats. We got the passion fruit tea with mango jelly and it was refreshing and the jelly tasted like mango. The service was quick and friendly even with a large crowd in the small space. They also offer ice cream and it smelled delicious as they do the bubble waffle cones fresh to order. I did not tried the ice cream as I was full from lunch still.

230 tremont street is the Chinatown location, not inside Quincy market. The interior is clean, about 12 seaters. Super easy ordering process with the staff. Popcorn chicken is their specialty and there are five flavor options. I got the basil - flavorful and chicken was not dried at all. Plentiful in one order and the wait time was about 10 mins. There is one other boba joint in the area that has the kumquat flavor boba tea so I am glad Vivi has it too. Boba is additional $1. While waiting, you can enjoy Korean music videos. Saw macaroons and crepe Mille cake by the slice but did not look appealing. Vivi is more than a boba joint. They serve food and desserts.

Very nice experience. Easy to order at the self checkout station, the boba tea was made on spot. Yes it took a little bit longer but it was very busy so was expected. Quincy Market has a unique ambiance so if you don't like a historical food hall ambiance this place is not for you. We like it and will definitely return! The boba tea was delicious!!

Cute booth in Faneuil Market. Choose from slushes, fruit tea, bubble tea, bubble milk teas. Lots of choices for add ons. Popular place.

Vivi Bubble Tea is a bubble tea and street food chain in Boston which I have visited at another location (Mass Ave location which is sadly closed). I have not been in a while but decided to stop in for milk tea and popcorn chicken. I forgot to take a photo of the chicken because I was too busy enjoying it, but they have many different flavors of their incredibly tasty and authentic popcorn chicken, just like the kind you get in the streets of Taiwan! If you are looking for photos of the popcorn chicken I have seen many other reviews with photos. I got salt and pepper, but they have other flavors like curry, basil, spicy, and cajun. I did not get them this time but their curly fries are also a hit item. The popcorn chicken has gotten a bit more expensive but it was a large portion for around $9. I got a plain black milk tea which was $6.50 (a little on the pricey side but probably similar or less than higher end boba shops). The boba were a good amount of chewy and it was a perfect amount of sweetness. I am not sure if they allow you to customize ice and sweetness but mine ended up being exactly what I wanted (sweet but not too sweet). There is some seating but it is more of a stop and go place. If you're in Chinatown or near the other Vivi locations and looking for boba or a snack, I recommend stopping by for a drink and/or some popcorn chicken.

3Q milk tea & popcorn chicken

Vivi's has finally opened near downtown for their soft opening. Their full menu includes the infamous popcorn chicken, bubble tea, and egg puff ice cream. I've already visited twice and have gotten their 3Q milk tea, salt and pepper popcorn chicken, and a mango Yakult. I like that the 3Q milk tea has all my favorite toppings (boba, pudding, and herbal jelly) in one drink. The mango Yakult just tasted like very sweet mango juice. Both times I have come in the afternoon and their boba is freshly made, super soft, and chewy. The popcorn chicken definitely has the best flavor, but isn't the crispest I've had. Overall, a great place to grab a meal to go, snacks, or desserts.

I just get their salt and pepper fried chicken which is a good portion size, moist chicken, and seasoned well.

The service is extremely slow. It took 50 minutes to get my order and there were only about 8 orders in the queue.

I got a lychee fruit tea 30% sweet with less ice; it was very good and refreshing, and surprisingly sweeter than I expected but it was fine because it was fruity!

For most palates, it might even be a bit too bitter. According to the shop, they use matcha from Harima Garden播磨園, Uji宇治. The texture was also very smooth. Ube Soft Served Ice Cream: After seeing the annual "Art in Bloom", I felt the taro flavor was more suitable for the blooming flowers of spring. Spring should be sweet, not bitter! It also had a very pure and natural flavor, not too sweet, but very fragrant. Its texture was a bit smoother than the matcha one. I'd love to try the parfait and drinks next time! However, you need to pick up your food at the counter yourself, and it gets crowded and chaotic on weekends.
