    Bubble Milk Black Tea 珍珠奶茶

This was near the Revere hotel where I was staying. Easy order thru kiosk. Ample seating with high chairs and tables and counter. Decor is cute. Service was fast and friendly. Bubble tea was decent...not the best but good enough.

Been here a few times and have tried online order as well as using the kiosk to order. The popcorn chicken and curly fries is my favorite! Although I feel they are missing the basil leaves frying in it for that authentic Taiwanese popcorn chicken. The portions is very generous and service is always decent. The space is spacious and clean and is great for group gathering. I like to try to their onigiri and desserts in the future.

Stopped by Vivi Bubble Tea in downtown Boston for a quick bite and drink. The popcorn chicken was hot, crispy, and absolutely delicious. The taro bubble tea was unusually chunky and gritty and the staff were friendly and offered to let us pick another drink, which was appreciated. The service was quick and accommodating, and the location is convenient and central.

The milk tea and thai tea here were both very disappointing. There was a powdery, gritty texture in both drinks. When sipping, it felt as though someone had mixed insoluable sugar powder into the milk. The toppings didn't seem to be fresh either. The thai tea was overwhelmingly sweet.

First service. Ordered the red bean milk and curly fries which was buy 1 and get 1 free at ubereat. I hope they have plum seasoning.

Passion Fruit Tea with mango jelly

Cute spot to get refreshing treats. We got the passion fruit tea with mango jelly and it was refreshing and the jelly tasted like mango. The service was quick and friendly even with a large crowd in the small space. They also offer ice cream and it smelled delicious as they do the bubble waffle cones fresh to order. I did not tried the ice cream as I was full from lunch still.

230 tremont street is the Chinatown location, not inside Quincy market. The interior is clean, about 12 seaters. Super easy ordering process with the staff. Popcorn chicken is their specialty and there are five flavor options. I got the basil - flavorful and chicken was not dried at all. Plentiful in one order and the wait time was about 10 mins. There is one other boba joint in the area that has the kumquat flavor boba tea so I am glad Vivi has it too. Boba is additional $1. While waiting, you can enjoy Korean music videos. Saw macaroons and crepe Mille cake by the slice but did not look appealing. Vivi is more than a boba joint. They serve food and desserts.

Very nice experience. Easy to order at the self checkout station, the boba tea was made on spot. Yes it took a little bit longer but it was very busy so was expected. Quincy Market has a unique ambiance so if you don't like a historical food hall ambiance this place is not for you. We like it and will definitely return! The boba tea was delicious!!

Cute booth in Faneuil Market. Choose from slushes, fruit tea, bubble tea, bubble milk teas. Lots of choices for add ons. Popular place.

Vivi Bubble Tea is a bubble tea and street food chain in Boston which I have visited at another location (Mass Ave location which is sadly closed). I have not been in a while but decided to stop in for milk tea and popcorn chicken. I forgot to take a photo of the chicken because I was too busy enjoying it, but they have many different flavors of their incredibly tasty and authentic popcorn chicken, just like the kind you get in the streets of Taiwan! If you are looking for photos of the popcorn chicken I have seen many other reviews with photos. I got salt and pepper, but they have other flavors like curry, basil, spicy, and cajun. I did not get them this time but their curly fries are also a hit item. The popcorn chicken has gotten a bit more expensive but it was a large portion for around $9. I got a plain black milk tea which was $6.50 (a little on the pricey side but probably similar or less than higher end boba shops). The boba were a good amount of chewy and it was a perfect amount of sweetness. I am not sure if they allow you to customize ice and sweetness but mine ended up being exactly what I wanted (sweet but not too sweet). There is some seating but it is more of a stop and go place. If you're in Chinatown or near the other Vivi locations and looking for boba or a snack, I recommend stopping by for a drink and/or some popcorn chicken.

3Q milk tea & popcorn chicken
    Victoria C.

Vivi's has finally opened near downtown for their soft opening. Their full menu includes the infamous popcorn chicken, bubble tea, and egg puff ice cream. I've already visited twice and have gotten their 3Q milk tea, salt and pepper popcorn chicken, and a mango Yakult. I like that the 3Q milk tea has all my favorite toppings (boba, pudding, and herbal jelly) in one drink. The mango Yakult just tasted like very sweet mango juice. Both times I have come in the afternoon and their boba is freshly made, super soft, and chewy. The popcorn chicken definitely has the best flavor, but isn't the crispest I've had. Overall, a great place to grab a meal to go, snacks, or desserts.

PLUS, they close later than both. I have this bad habit of going here almost every time I have a meal in the area LOL. The addiction is real! I love that they keep adding new drinks to their menu... keeps it interesting. My favorite is still the Mango Coconut Boom but I'm a fan of most of their new drinks, like the Golden Oolong Yuzu & their King Jasmine Guava! I tried the Pistachio Cloud Jasmine Coconut, as well, and it's super similar to one of my favorites from MollyTea. I prefer the one from MollyTea more w/ champaca tea. Since their opening here, I have tried almost all of the drinks & their mango coconut boom is STILL superior! Highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys mango. It is pretty much their version of mango pomelo sago (they have a version with pomelo but I like it without). SO GOOD! ***Pro tip: order ahead of time via HeyTea app. This is a lifesaver, since the wait time is pretty atrocious most days still. Usually takes ~20 min to be ready.

Once I made my decision from their extensive list of options and combinations, it took me maybe 2 minutes from start to finish to build and submit my order. I ordered a large taro milk tea and it was everything I had hoped for. Flavorful, not too sweet, and the tapioca was a wonderful consistency. My only thing was that it was so busy and loud that the staff were unable to continuously call out when orders were complete, or you couldn't hear them. I eventually went up to the bar, noticed my drink had been sitting a few minutes, yelled over, "This is mine, thanks!!" Smiled, and then grabbed it. Beyond that? It was absolutely a great experience.
