I came in very clear what I wanted and didn't want. Exam and office visit was normal. When it came time to get a trial of contacts they had to order them. I drove an hour to come to this appointment then have to come back in a week? I paid $10 for them to mail them to me. Those didn't work, so I called and they had to order more, but this time had to make an appointment because they are so busy they can't take a walk in try-on. Very long story short, they had zero contacts at their office for me to try. Each time had to order them. So, if you want contacts be prepared to wait. Once I decided on a pair, the prescription was wrong. I don't even know at this rate if I have the right prescription. Called to order contacts and got the confirmation a week later that they were ordered. Why it took so long? Idk. That certainly put the nail in the coffin. Probably took two months to finally get my contacts. Do not recommend this clinic at all - may look nice but the details go a long way.

The first time the glasses arrived the lens was crooked so they had to be remade. The ball got dropped somewhere so they glasses still didn't come in. They had us come in a select a frame for free so they could send to a different lab (the first one was in California) to supposedly get them made quicker and correctly. We were told 10 biz days they would be in. Well, it apparently is going to be closer to 15 biz days! What a dog and pony show - have us in, give us a free frame, promise to get this fixed, blah, blah, blah ... still we wait. I'm sorry I ever referred anyone to this place!!!

I would like to share some concerns about my experiences in the optical department. On several…read moreoccasions, my interactions with Rochelle have felt unhelpful and, many times, passive-aggressive. I've left multiple conversations feeling frustrated, discouraged, and without the information I needed to make informed decisions. In my most recent visit, I explained to Rochelle that my husband had purchased my glasses as a Christmas gift and that I wasn't completely sure if they were bought at Costco, but it was very likely. Earlier that day, I had called and spoken with someone in the optical department who advised me that there were options available either they could look up proof of purchase through my membership or I could pay a fee to have my prescription added to my current eyewear. When I came in later that evening, Rochelle was the only person available. After I explained the situation, her response was extremely rude and implied I was lying. When I asked what my options were, I was told that I did not have any. I shared that I had already spoken with someone earlier and did not appreciate feeling like information was being withheld. I then asked to speak with a manager. A young man that was manager came over shortly after, he said he was unsure how to handle the situation. At that point, I felt uncomfortable and defeated, and decided to leave. Because this has happened more than once with Rochelle, I've started to feel uncomfortable seeking services there, as I worry about having another negative interactions. I value clear, respectful communication and would really appreciate a more supportive and consistent experience moving forward. The store overall is a good experience definitely room for improvement in customer service all around with workers and improvement on better quality items.

Less than 5 minutes in the room with me, didn't talk about my results from the front exam, just a diagnosis and meds and off I went! Possibly not even the correct diagnosis as I went to another doc at another facility with different results. Asked for the exam notes, was unable to get them sent to me and no access online. Finally went back in to get them and what a work of fiction they are!

I understand the outside and inside of the optometrist department in Costco are different from each other and I guess apparently this last year they made some changes with different insurances. That's fine things allways change in the world we need to learn to adapt and that's not on them. What I failed too understand was the rudnesss that the front desk lady gave me. This was my first time going in by myself as an adult so I was trying to understand what this lady was telling me. And I'm fully aware I'm not the brightest person but I'm figuring out adulting as I'm going. I also believe "it's never what you say. But how you say it" this lady was getting mad at me that I wasn't understanding her. And then she got even more mad when she pulled up some guy named "Ethan Jacobs" instead of me. She made me feel stupid and young and obviously had 0 time to help me out even tho it was just us in the office. The funny thing is this lady has been there for awhile use to have blonde hair now has darker hair I've never interacted with her before now, and I wish I went my whole life without talking to her . I think if ur gonna work at a desk you should have some level of patience/ grace extended to those who are a little slower and not be such a asss like she was yesterday. He was amazing - so kind and patient with me (I had a lot of questions!) - and - one week later my vision has already vastly improved. (It takes a couple of weeks to get the full benefit).
