On 8/12, I called to check if my glasses were ready because I am traveling soon. I was told that they would call me back on 8/13. When I called back on 8/13, I was informed that the glasses were not ready and that they had forgotten to place the order. I explained that it had already been over a month and that I urgently needed my glasses because I cannot see properly without them, especially since I am traveling. The lady told me that they would send me a copy of my eye prescription so I could order glasses wherever I am traveling to.

The doctors here are truly iris-istible professionals. My exam was thorough without feeling like a staring contest, and they explained everything so well that nothing went over my head -- I could see their point every time. When I asked which lens option was best, they didn't make me a spectacle of myself -- they framed the answer perfectly. Speaking of frames, their recommendations were 20/20. I thought choosing glasses would be a cornea-dilemma, but the staff had a great vision for what suited my face. The value was eye-popping, not eye-watering. West Seattle Vision is the perfect example. Doctors, front desk staff and skilled professional opticians here and we've been working with them for years. Love it. Being a technology nerd I appreciate it when my healthcare providers use state of the art equipment like optical coherence tomography and widefield imaging and you'll get that here. I had eye exam here once and another time for check up cause I had an allergic reaction and my eyes were red and puffy. The first time there for the eye exam I was on time (few mins early so they are not even open yet, but it took them 45 mins to finally see me after I finished all the paper work. It took longer than I expected and had to get to work later than I assumed. It was not decent already but the front desk clerk clearly was annoyed by everything. Second time was better since it's different front desk person. however the long wait is just... making me ask why. Especially I had eye exam elsewhere and it's usually just 5-10 mins wait for the doctor to get ready for my case. I assume you have prepared to meet me as I scheduled the appointment weeks before? Oh and I heard doctors and staffs just chitchatting in the hallway while I'm waiting???? The second time there my eyes were hurting and really want to get it fix soon, so hearing yall back there laughing was pretty bad. Fast forward to this week. I called to try to schedule an eye exam and got to their voice mail. It was around 3PM so I understand maybe they were having patients and was busy. They didn't call back that day, instead, took them one full day to finally call me back at 4PM next day. Not in the morning nor afternoon...Actual 25 hours later. It's not a Monday call, yet took you full day to call back an existed customer. The lady on the phone is nice but you can tell she's not good at phone calls. "huh?" a couple times and was very slow. Um. Hire a person that knows how to answer phone calls? No thank you. After that, I immediately called another place I went to 3 years back and they actually answered my phone call right away and got me scheduled in a 2 mins phone call, and texted the time and date of the appointment to me after. That's true customer service right there!!! This place is SO WEIRD. The whole vibe is just weird and not professional. It's a place for slow service and not updated system. I understand they are older people, but doesn't mean as a professional provider, you can still use your 70s system and think it's ok. Took them way too long to call back and even scheduled it will take so long for you to get an eye exam. Bye bye forever. I am not going back to waste my time. Not everyone is retired and have so much time for a full day off eye exam. I hope they can improve their systems and work with a happy yet not fully relaxing vibe, as if patients is not important and they can chat whenever they can.

They got me right in, were nice, did a comprehensive exam, and explained everything. Luckily, it wasn't anything dire. I made annual appointments for both my wife and myself.

Good service, terrible glasses…read more Use of anything but Bellevue Vision clinic's "special" cleaning fluid ruins the lens due to the fact that they are made from cheap plastic. (Note cleaner used has worked fine with every other pair of glasses ever owned). Also opted for the add-on of magnetic pop on/off sunglasses. They are convenient, but the magnets are well within the field of vision. When complained about the issue was told there was nothing to do but perhaps let the manufacturer know. Finally, despite several visits for re-adjustments they still fit poorly. Back to old glasses. Waste of time and money. If you proceed anyway: Be VERY careful on your selection and stock up on the "magic" cleaner.
