Worst experience ever, she just tried to sell me on buying something while there and that's it. But worst of all, I have been trying for months to get a copy of my receipt and prescription and have not received anything. I've tried calling many times and in the rare occasion they pick up, said they would send, they never did. I have tried several times and each time it's a waste of time. I did my exam months ago and still don't have my prescription. Go literally anywhere else and spare yourself. I honestly don't know how they're still in business. read more

Worst experience and paying the price for it a year later. They gave me the wrong prescription for both glasses and contacts. Went to different doctors who all confirmed they gave the wrong prescription. $400 on glasses that give headaches and more issues instead of relief. read more

Very Professional service from the doctors and service staff. Make sure if you get an eye examination with their doctors you buy the contact lenses and prescription glasses with them before going elsewhere as they have good incentives and promotions.; plus if you keep everything "in house", if your prescription is off and the prescription glasses do not feel comfortable they can redo them for you again until they feel 100% perfect. Just make sure you get your contact lenses and prescription glasses though immediately after getting your eye examination as sometimes (although rare) your vision could change and improve in just 1-3 months; but if you get your eye examination and glasses within 30 days and your contact lenses or glasses don't feel comfortable, they can redo the eye examination again for free; and if your prescription changes, they can change your contact lenses and/or prescription glasses for free too if you do everything within 30 days. ADVISE: 1 When doing an eye examination always go to a place like VisionWorks plus don't procrastinate and get your contact lenses and glasses immediately after the eye examination. VisionWorks have highly qualified doctors and uses the best equipment; 2. Make sure you get your contact lenses and glasses immediately in the same place, as VisionWorks offers great promotions and incentives to keep everything in-house, plus you get 30 days to troubleshoot and redo eye examinations, change prescriptions and or change contact lenses and prescription glasses if you report any discomforts immediately within 30 days. In my case my vision improved after 60 days; but as I waited 60 days to get my contact lenses and prescription glasses and I made the MISTAKE of getting them someplace else too, VisionWorks was not able to help me with replacing my contact lenses or changing my glasses prescription; and since I waited 90 days to recheck my vision to determine why the prescription glasses I bought at Sam's Cub didn't feel comfortable, I had to pay for a second eye examination at VisionWorks; but if I had done so again within 30 days, I would have saved paying the fee of the second eye examination as it would have been absolutely for FREE. VisionWorks has a GREAT 30 days 100% guarantee that your prescription glasses and or contact lenses feel 100% comfortable to you: but to take advantage of this great policy you have to report and troubleshoot any discomforts immediately within 30 days and everything is resolved and fix for FREE. In my case my vision improved after 60 days (which is a BLESSING ); but as I was careless and not too bright and smart (lol), I didn't keep things in-house (by getting my contact lenses and prescription glasses with them), plus I waited about 60 days to finally buy my contact lenses and prescription glasses unaware that sometimes your vision can change significantly after only 30-90 days. I hope my personal experience and ordeal story helps others; and that you decide to get your eye examination at VISIONWORKS when you know for sure you are also ready to buy your contact lenses and prescription glasses on the same day with them; as your vision can change dramatically and improve in a short time, as it happened with me, as with God all things are possible, and I just pray that my vision keeps improving even if I have to keep buying new contact lenses and prescription glasses (lol), as your Health and "Vision" are priceless gifts that you cannot take ever for granted. Cheers! read more

The persons at the front desk told me that United health care does not cover eye exams. I didn't have my card with me. I told her I do have that benefit and so I call UHC and when I went back she just said to someone "she didn't have the card". She never told me if you don't have the card I can't check. She told me UHC only provides exams if you have an underlying eye diagnosis. Which I don't. It was just a regular eye exam. I am filing a grievance for the horrible customer service and I am writing to Dr. Wendy about my experience. This person definitely needs to understand insurance coverage read more

I've been doing to Dr. Batista for years now and honestly, no complaints about her. The optical side however, one of the ladies that works there is EXTREMELY RUDE, ARGUMENTATIVE (even with the doctor) AND CONDESCENDING. Clara made me have an absolutely irritating experience at vision works, something that has never happened to me and i am very disappointed, while the other lady was on her phone the entire time. horrible horrible service. read more

Worst place ever!! Bad costumer service, it was my very first time buying eye contacts, and they did not prepare me as it should be, I have a phobia that someone touched my eye and the assistant felt super rude, she made me really bad and I had no patience, she began to speak badly about Colombia, the country that I belong to in front of me, Even the doctor was so rude that she didn't even explain how I had to put on my contact lenses. read more

This has been a pretty terrible experience. At the start of the appointment I was told I'd only be paying around $30-40. When it finished I was charged over $80 for astigmatism. Then I went to buy glasses for their 60% off "deal". It's not really a deal because their lenses are around $170. So I left with just contacts. I let them know the contacts have been bothering my eyes and they said because it's past the trial period I will be charged another $45. It's hard to get an appointment throughout the week and when I booked an appointment closer to the trial period I was unable to make it. read more

Coming to this Vision Works on Flagler was the biggest mistake I ever made I should have kept going to the Vision Works in Kendall. The doctor at this Vision Works refused to renew my prescription for Acuvue and forced me to try all of these other brands by lying to me and telling me that Acuvue lenses that I was currently using were going to be discontinued and I ended up with a prescription to Biofinity contact lenses which I told her repeatedly do not agree with my eyes I never had an issue with Dr. Giurato in the Kendall location. He is awesome! Now I am stuck constantly throwing away money buying contact lenses that I absolutely hate because the doctor at this Vision Works Flagler location would not listen to me and only prescribed the lense brand that she wanted to force me to use- maybe she gets a kickback I don't know. I was perfectly happy in my Acuvue for distance lenses which were also an affordable contact lenses instead of the rip off garbage Biofinity by Cooper Vision that don't even last a week in my eyes, my eyes get irritated, are always crying my vision is blury, these lenses do not agree with me yet it is the only script I have. Now I have to go pay for another contact lense exam elsewhere to fix this problem I will never come back here. As an eye doctor you should listen to your patient I only needed my script updated and the brand to remain the same but instead I have been utterly miserable in these lenses that she prescribed. I am going back to my acuvue lenses. If you use Biofinity and they agree with you- good for you, I think they are the worst contact lenses ever read more

Have been looking online & have gone to multiple opticals looking for cost efficiency and quality. Came here 2x worked with Orlin and he was able to work within my budget while providing great customer service. When buying look up coupons, you don't necessarily need to buy 1 get 1 ... in reality you are paying for them both. Got the 1 pair that I needed at the price that I could afford. Thank you Orlin. He was extremely helpful and patient, you rarely see that these days. I will definitely recommend this location. read more

Great service and attention!!! There's a lot of options for kids frames at a good price. Also Dr. Batista was very helpful and took time to review and answer questions. Highly recommended. read more

I visited the store at 10071 W. Flagler, Miami, Florida. Melissa the manager, took care of me. she was extremely knowledgeable, very professional and happy to help me out. She gave me a couple of prices and options and I was able to order what I needed and the price was very right, in comparison with other stores. I was very pleased with the work and quality and would like to mention that when I came back to pick them up I was taking care by Mel who was also very nice. I will definitely be coming back to this store for my future needs. julio E. read more

Been to this location three times and every time I've been here the staff has been great and helpful. Recently, I had messed up my glasses;(purchased four months ago) and I called to find out if they could help fix them and was advised to come in so they could check my glasses out. Went to the store and the associate assured me the issue with my glasses would be fixed and within five minutes the associate was able to fix my glasses! Also mentioned if I ever have a problem again to stop by. Overall great experience and I'll definitely be back! read more

Everyone was very nice and professional. I never had glasses before so it was very hard for me to find a frame I liked. Thanks to the help of the whole store, including the Dr. I walked out very happy with my purchase. I can't wait to finally get my glasses. Thank you very much. read more

Be careful with their so called promotions. If something doesn't work out, they will not refund your money and claim that everything you paid goes back to your insurance. They think you can't do simple math. Rude staff and inexperienced and arrogant optometrist. Will never go back there! read more

Was asked by drs staff if I've had contact with anyone that has covid19. I said I had it in june. I showed them the negative test results from june 28. This was not good enough. Sadly, my experience with one of the employees was awful. I came to pick up my glasses. She treated me with so much disrespect and attitude. She was quick to judge, disrespectfully speaking her mind and I left the store upset and without my glasses. She lacks interaction skills, customer service skills and she needs a big lecture of politeness. I requested a full refund and I will not be returning to this store. The manager then called me to apologize and to say how her employee is a sweet girl, almost defending her disrespect to a customer. read more

Horrible place came in because I wasn't seeing right, everything was blurry specially when I read with my color contact lenses, and I want it to talk with the doctor, well she never came out to talk to me after 40 min waiting, she sent her assistant/ receptionist to tell me that when you have color contact lenses you always compromise not seen right, I have had color prescription lenses all my life from other optometrist and never had any problems. I'm never coming back to this place ever. read more

súper good costumer service, very profesional and work súper fast, I recomend this place

Great customer service is hard to come by these days. I just left the Vision Works on Flagler no less than 10 minutes ago and realized I never asked the employee's name. I went in on a Sunday, desperate for help. My 78 year old father took a bad tumble and though he is ok, he broke his glasses. Without his glasses, he cannot drive or read or see. With Veteran's Day on Monday and today being Sunday, I thought for sure there was no hope for us. However, from the time I walked into the store, the tall young man behind the counter assured me he would help. He was attending to other customers, so I waited a about 2 or 3 minutes. He fixed them so quickly and was so genuine in his concern for my father after I had explained to him what had had happened. I don't even know where my dad had bought these glasses, but this young man treated them as if he had just sold them to me. While I had been waiting for him to finish up with the other customers, I listened to how he treated each of them so well; he was so attentive and polite. I have purchased frames from another location years ago (and well before this location opened), but I will from now on be using this location and will recommend it to anyone in need of glasses. Thank you to that young man! read more

This is not a review of the doctor's affiliated with Visionworks, but rather a review of what I feel is a HUGE rip off. After switching to their vision insurance, I went in or my check up and (as usual) my prescription changed enough to warrant new glasses. I picked some off the sale rack for $99 , even though my insurance covers the cost of the frames, and then sat with the consultant to finish off. I ended up with a bill for over $450. NO ONE at the store or in costumer service was able to explain to me why I was paying so much money for something that should be covered almost entirely by my insurance. I was lied to, repeatedly, about a million things and the only excuse I got for the price was that "they charged you for a cleaning kit." Really?!?!? I have been buying glasses my entire life and never have paid so much. On top of that, those super fancy lenses that I "had to have in order to see correctly and not distort your facial features and are not covered by your insurance except for a $20 discount" scratch super easily. The best part is, when I called, they told me I would have to leave my glasses there for a week at the minimum in order for them to send them out to get fixed. How they expect me to function without my glasses for 1 week blows my mind. SOME of the consultants are fun, knowledgeable and polite, but none of it could cause me to go back. read more
