Avoid This Visionworks Location -- You Deserve Better Care…read more This Visionworks location is a textbook example of a place that pretends to care -- until they've cashed in on your visit. When you walk in, the staff is friendly and accommodating. Dr. Erika Pardinas was the one who saw me, and while she was polite, she was clearly in a rush to leave that day. In her haste, she rushed through the exam and ended up writing the wrong prescription for my contacts. With her rushed and careless evaluation, I was then assisted by the staff to order the contacts -- based entirely on her prescription. No one mentioned that there was a strict 60-day return policy. Not verbally. Not in writing. Not in a follow-up email. Nothing. So when I came back to report that the contacts were wrong and unusable, suddenly the friendly smiles were gone and I was met with stone-cold indifference. Let's be honest -- this is on them. Dr. Erika Pardinas gave the wrong prescription. Their team helped place the order. And their failure to inform me of the return policy was their responsibility. At the very least, they should have taken accountability and eaten the cost of the mistake. Instead, they blamed me -- the patient -- and made it clear they weren't interested in making it right. If you're thinking about trusting this place with your vision, don't. There are countless other providers who won't rush through your exam, who will stand by their work, and who will treat you like a human being -- not just a transaction. This experience was not just disappointing -- it was insulting. I wouldn't recommend this Visionworks location to anyone. Avoid it at all costs.

You can make your appointment online, which was a breeze. Then, when you arrive - the wait is non-existent. It's a small practice run by a husband and wife with more than 30 years of experience, and I felt really comfortable with the doctor. I'm particular about my eyes, because I am pre-disposed to glaucoma due to some family conditions, so I always want to make sure I'm tested correctly to make sure my eye pressure is fine. I also mentioned that my eyes feel strained easily, and I don't often wear my glasses like I am supposed to when using my laptop (which is, every.single.day). Turns out the glasses I was using were a bit too heavy on the prescription and didn't have anti-glare. Carlos out front helped me pick my glasses and I opted for a Serafina pair which fit into my VSP credit even with the lenses! He was super helpful as I perused thru their options. Plus, when I went to go pay I noticed a $10 off credit when you check-in on Yelp. How cool is that? I went on a Wednesday, and my glasses were ready for pick up on a Tuesday. Super fast service both with the appointment and the glasses. There is easy parking in a back lot, and pay by phone options available should you prefer that. Love having an eye doctor close to home now!
