If you wanna pay premium prices for subpar service and absolutely zero support, with disgustingly ignorant staff, this is the place for you. I purchased a set of 2k$ Lindbergh glasses from this shop and within three months the temples were already delaminated and destroyed. I came back and asked them to fix it and they took quite a while but they came back somewhat worse but the temple was fixed. About a month later both temples delaminated. They also use bottom of the barrel lenses and coatings so that they will flake off in less than a year so you can come back and get a new pair from them. The customer service people literally don't know anything about glasses so don't even bother talking to them. This business exists purely through nepotism and Ill gotten gains. This is a low-quality optician cosplaying as high end. If you're not related to these people, stay away. read more

This place is a rip off. We purchased branded frames and prescription lenses here and within a year we had two issues. The first request to get it replaced was well received and immediately rectified. The minute this Optical store found out our insurance provider changed, they literally stopped responding. Their customer service is unparalleled; Lourdes I am looking at you! It's insane, you're faith in good customer service is renewed every time you walk into their office. Solid service, great experience all around. I recently took my 10yr old daughter for a check up and the experience couldn't have been better. They are highly conscious during these difficult covid times, and customers are asked to wait outside if there is more then one inside. Then you are cheerfully greeted by one of the attendants, who waste no time getting you through the basics of checking insurance, etc... The actual Dr is very thorough during the examination, he does not rush thru the appt, patiently answering my questions and of my inquisitive 10 yr old. Last but not least Lourdes politely and patiently presents all of the options available for glasses, again going thru all of the different options available for frames and lenses. With the joys of a new job there is new insurance, and with new insurance comes a new eye doctor- searching through the wonderful joys of the internet and various healthcare search engine tools my provider had, i found that right across the parking lot from my old eye doctor was a new eye doctor that takes my insurance... so i made an appointment for today at 4:30- short notice appt +2 got there about 4:20 and had to fill out the standard never been here before paper. by 4:30 the assistant was taking me in and doing the routine pre-exam stuff. (on time +1) A few minutes later i saw the doctor who was very nice. She went through the exam and my eye history, and double checked my glasses, my old prescription and my new exam prescription to get me the most comfortable fit for my new RX. She explained to me what she was changing and how this might affect my eyes. (caring and helpful +1) The store was clean and comfortable, the other employees were nice aswell. They explained to me how my insurance would work out and told me the costs upfront before i even went in to the doctors. The only reason Jade Optical is getting 4 stars is that i still have to go back when my trial contacts come in, then i have to wait till the real ones come in after that... kind of long and drawn out and that always is a bummer. so +0 But, ill probably over look that and go back next year since they are really nice. When I called to ask for the cost of contact lens exam, I was told by the receptionist it was $75. I ended up paying $175, just for the exam. Of course, I explained that someone had said $75. Well, they didnt care. They said they were going to call me to come in for the trial pair, three weeks have gone by...nothing. Too expensive and slow. read more

I had a 1:30 appointment today with Dr.Newman in the Doral location. I will never go to another Eye doctor for as long as I can help it. I haven't been to an eye doctor in about 13 to 15 years and I was looking for a good place that took my insurance. Jade Optical took my insurance and had great reviews. I figured I would give it shot. I was running late for my appointment and arrived at like 1:29pm.. I was already being seen by the doctor no more than 10 minutes later. The staff was VERY helpful. Altogether it was a really good experience. I wish all doctors offices could be this way. If you are looking for a GREAT doctor go see Dr. Newman, you won't regret it. read more

I went to Jade Optical with my father in law after trying a similar place in Doral. For the first moment we went in you could notice how professional and courteous the staff was. My father in law was given immediately an appointment to check his eyesight for myopia . During the appointment the Doctor was knowledgable and caring. Gave advice without putting extreme emphasis on selling the frames as in other places. The glasses were ready in less time than we thought. Given in a secure and nice case. Worst and most unprofessional service ever! I went to check my eyes and I was provided with a prescription. They made me a pair of glasses and I took the prescription to another place where they had a pair of glasses that I liked. I had to spend some time trying to adjust my sight to the wrong prescription with of course no success. I went back and they discovered that the prescription was wrong. They are fixing the glasses that I made with them but reluctant to correct the ones that I ordered in another vendor with their wrong prescription. They want me to go to that vendor to demand the change of glasses even though this vendor is not responsible for the mistake. I have been wasting my time with all this ordeal and now they want me to keep doing so. Completely unfair and out of logic!!! read more

Had to wait weeks for a set of glasses, didn't get anything even close to what I wanted, the glasses did not work at all, actually decreased my vision instead of enhancing it, scratched within minutes and ended in the trash can just as fast. Have owned glasses since I was 8 years old and by far this place is the best optical I've been to. First, the Optical is very nice looking, having a modern look to it. The staff were very friendly and was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. There was very little wait and the exam was great. VERY thorough exam... I obviously never got the type of exam I was always supposed to have at previous opticals. Dr. Olive started there about a year and a half ago and I've been going here for my past 2 yearly check ups. She is amazing and was extremely informative about everything she was doing and what she found on exam. They have a large selection of glasses and also carry very high end brands which was nice, but not limited to only those frames that cost a lot. Great price overall and they said they accept nearly all insurances, so that wasn't an issue. They also explained to me all of my benefits with my current eye insurance and how it would apply to my exam and glasses/contacts purchase. Will definitely continue to come here for my annual exams and any other eye issues I may have in the future. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO EVERYONE! read more
