I first observed in a Hospital explaining to an RN the results of his examination of a patient. I asked if I could also do part of the exam to observe the patients eyes as it was not invasive. Most doctors are reticent to have nurses do an exam out of their presence. He reviewed what I saw with me. He did my cataract surgery. His staff is only two people who go out of their way to answer questions and make people feel comfortable. He keeps his schedule of timeliness. People I have referred to him have also been pleased with his skill. I observed him interacting with people with developmental disabilities with patience at his office before giving them an exam. He diagnosed a vision problem that could have lead to blindness and got me a referral to Bascom Palmer quickly. I am very happy i asked about the hospital patient years ago, as i found a very qualified direct and kind human being to whom i trusted my vision.
