Hardworking. Trustworthy. Not cheap, but good at packing things into the truck. Very pleasant personalities. Careful and responsive. They had some equipment trouble and wound up arriving without any straps but were able to overcome that with a little help. Not a thing got damaged, including the walls and door jambs. For our part we pitched in, knew already where we wanted things laid down and we stayed involved. Didn't finish the job as quoted, and tried t9 charge an extra 400$. Broke multiple items, didn't put items where they were asked to move them. Scratched my 75in TV... I've hired Visionary Movers twice so far and they are awesome! I got their info from an antiques dealer so I knew from the start they would be good with vintage furniture, and they are. If you point out a piece that is especially delicate they will take extra care with it, and in general they will not be bumping your stuff into the doorjamb and scuffing up the walls. Buyer beware. Mom contracted these gentlemen through Thumbtack, so we thought they were vetted. They are not even accredited on BBB. The day before move day they contacted my mom to say they double booked her 10 am slot, could she please move at 2:30 PM same day? She said sure. We hired Visonary to do some packing and all of the moving for mom's 3 bedroom condo, but I had done a good portion of packing prior. They were aware that she was moving to a facility - elderly apartments. At 4:00 mom had to call Justin (owner) to find out where they were. He did not answer, but did return our call soon after. He apologized and stated that the job they were on in Tacoma (we were in Lacey) and they were 20 minutes from being complete, then they would pick up boxes and be out to us, about another hour and a half- putting them there at 5:30 when the new time was supposed to be 2:30! We had been sitting around waiting for an hour and a half already and the front doors to the new facility lock at 7:30. So I had my kids bring garbage sacks over and we unhooked all electronics and bagged as many items as possible to save time. By 6:00 there was still no word from Justin. At 6:30 mom called him again and he said he was sorry, it was another 20 minutes until he finished the job in Tacoma and then they'd be on their way! Mom calls the facility to make sure the manager is ok with us doing a move in at 8 or 9 and she said that should be ok, just make it quick. So she tell Justin to hurry, that we are not able to do the move too late and that we have disconnected everything (TV, cable, computer) at this home. Justin and his helper finally make it to the condo in Lacey at 8:26 PM. My brother is helping haul as many items as the movers, who seemed to be having a hard time with their straps and didn't take much care with the items they were putting on the truck. The truck gets full and some things are added to my van. By 10:15 we are as ready as we can be and Justin insists he doesn't need the address, he is just going to follow. We get to the facility where I now have to man the entrance because I have to open the door everytime they need to enter the building and as they open the truck the first thing that is pulled off is a can off coffee and I am asked if it is mine. I said I have no idea what my mother may have stored in a coffee can and he said it was coffee. When I said she doesn't drink coffee his response was "oh, it must have been from the last house." Now the even worse part of the move happens. These two grown men, one of whom owns a moving company for 4 years, are unloading a truck a box or two at a time and having me open the door for each of these trips to the elevator - which I soon figure out that THEY ARE HOLDING OPEN WITH A BOX SO THEY CAN FILL IT. IN AN ELDERLY HOME!!! As soon as I see this, I tell Justin to send the elevator up, since his helper was waiting on the next floor to unload it and my brother was running everything to the apartment. I then tell him he needs to stack things near the elevator until he has enough, then put it in the elevator and send it up. And, because they were running in and out of the building so many times, and dropping things off the truck, and the doors to the building make a lot of noise, the manager came and talked to us and had to do damage control with residents for the noise complaints. At the end of all of this, when it was time to pay, Justin felt he was being kind in offering not to make us pay for the boxes he brought (did I mention that they didn't realize they needed to have tape for moving services?) - we used 5 boxes, and he offered us 10% off. When I said that he wasted 6 hours of my time, and my brother and I ended up doing work that we had hired him to do, he looked to my brother and asked "what do you want, a free move?" I said it was worth it to pay him the $360 he said just to leave these reviews and it had him scared. Apparently this is why he had a perfect record before now - he always brought his price down. Oh, and we couldnt find the fridge and freezer items that I packed in small bins by the front door until the next night because these geniuses had used one of their boxes to pack my boxes inside of it. So we thought for a day they stole mom's food and I had to go to the store and buy new food to replace it all. Later found out it needed replaced because they were morons who packed boxes inside of a box, so it was rotten anyway. And I had to clean the parking lot and empty my van myself because it was 12:45 AM when they finished unloading their truck and I just wanted them the heck out of there. Run away from these guys! Update justin refunded $70 and asked me to take down the review. He apologized but I am leery of a company that has such stellar comments and gave such poor service. I doubt this was a one time thing, but commend him for attempting to make things right when he saw this review. read more

These guys kicked butt. Justin and Tony arrived right on time and hustled for 8 hours moving us from an apartment to a condo, plus two trips to a storage facility. Our complicated move included an upright piano, that I witnessed these gentlemen pick up and carry like it was weightless. They took care with furniture placement and every detail. I feel like I really lucked out finding them, and am hiring them again next weekend for a goodwill and dump run. They are full service. Best of all, extremely competitive rates. What can I say... For starters, the people in my new building complimented these men on the care they used when moving my things. That says a lot in and of itself! Professional. Prompt. Courteous. Respectful. Reasonable. Qualified... A few words to characterize this business and the interaction between the owner, his staff and me. I called on a Friday at noon to inquire about a move that needed to happen before Bellevue rush hour traffic. I called Juston, who quoted me a reasonable time frame for his hourly rate and commute. Moreover, to complicate the issue, I was not able to be present at the pick up. Juston made an extremely stressful ordeal bearable, as he was able to interface with poor management at the storage/shipping company. Juston's communication throughout the entire process enabled my anxiety and apprehension to be allayed, and I am beyond grateful. He and his associate, who was beyond gentlemanly, moved extremely fast, but more importantly efficiently. My things were set in pace within three hours without one single issue. I will be using him for all future moves and will be referring him to anyone who is need of dependable, prompt and courteous moving professionals. This is easily a 6 star operation! I called them in a panic when I waited all day for a different moving company that never showed up and they had just had a cancellation for the following morning and were able to accommodate me. They arrived exactly when they said they would and were super courteous and patient and careful with all my stuff. They were super efficient and got the job done faster than I expected. I really wish I could recommend this company however I feel I should warn other potential customers. I hired Visionary Movers to move me into a new condo in August, 2018. After the work was completed and I paid them, I noticed that a valuable item was missing. I texted the owner, Justin, and he responded that he indeed had my item and would make arrangements to return it. After that, I heard nothing from him. I called him and texted him for 2 months with no response! Finally, in October, he responded that one of his staff members had accidentally delivered my item to someone else and therefore it was gone. He apologized and said he would replace the item. I sent him the link to the item and so he could purchase it. It is now February 1st, 2019 and I have not heard one word from Justin. I have called and texted multiple times and he does not respond. I am really angry and shocked that a moving company would disregard and disrespect their customers in this way. Additionally, I am really upset that this brand new and expensive item is now gone. They arrived early and immediately started to unload our uhaul. They were so polite asking where we wanted each item as they brought it in. They worked at a fast pace yet being very careful with each item, those guys have muscles! They are a little bit more expensive than competitors but well worth every penny. These guys moved a bunch of office furniture, lockers, construction leftovers, and books around to wrap up the last bit of our office move. First of all, I called these guys in a panic Thursday morning and they were able to accommodate me same-day. Justin and Alexander showed up on time and ready to go -- these guys are FAST and STRONG. They were patient with my chaos and proactive about keeping things moving. Both were able to pull off a long stretch of hard labor and still have smiles when it was done! I had an armoire and other various heavy furniture that I did not want to move and these guys lifted it with no problem, especially the armoire up a flight of stairs. They were very careful about not damaging anything and were really good about asking where to put our boxes and furniture.
