The staff is nice. I was pleased with my glasses but I didn't have a good experience with contacts. They didn't call me for a month to let me know they were in. Then, after trying 4 sets of contacts I finally had to go to Pearl Vision in Copperfield, even though they weren't in my insurance network. And Vision Source would not give me a refund for the contacts, that were never quite good enough. I had to pay for the new ones from Pearl Vision-that were great from the very first try. read more

Ordered glasses, after almost 30 days I had to call and check on them, only to be told the order was cancelled (supposedly I cancelled, which I didn't authorize) and they were holding the money. We visited this office on April 13, 2022, through our insurance network for my wife's annual exam. Then we returned on April 15, 2022, to get our glasses cut. They informed us the system was down, but they could still get them done. It went great because my wife and I were happy when we got our glasses. But why are we so bitter? On July 25, 2022, I returned to pick up the prescription from this location as my wife plans to replace the lenses on her old glasses for work-purpose. On July 28, 2022, we picked up her glasses at Eleven Optical inside the H-mart on Blalock Rd. As she tried her, she noticed it was very blurry. Initially, we questioned Eleven Optical on whether they did it correctly. Sean asked us to let him run her glasses, which Vision Source at Copperfield made for her, through the Autolenses machine. His machine reading gave us a completely different power than the prescription. He even pulled my wife's prescription two years ago in his system. We had a jaw-dropping moment because my wife's eyesight was better without vision correction. Now, if I could figure out how she did it, I would become a millionaire, LOL. We returned to Vision Source Copperfield on July 29, 2022, and were greeted by Vision Source Rep. I explained to her the story of why we believed that there was an error in the prescription. She took my wife's glasses, which they did, and the prescription to run it through their machine for confirmation. About 20 mins later, she came out with the glasses and Rx. Now y'all need to buckle up; here comes the significant part. VSC Rep: I ran the glasses through our machine, and the power doesn't match the prescription. Do you want me to change the lenses to match the prescription? Me: Thank you, but no. My wife sees better with the current lenses, but the new glasses that we cut with the prescribed power are very blurry for her. VSC Rep: Well, when we cut her glasses, the system was down. We did what we wrote on the paper during her exam. When the system was up, they entered it as shown on this prescription. My wife: Where did you even get the number on the prescription? If you are saying the Rx is correct, how did you cut my glasses perfectly while another location is not? VSC Rep: I don't know, but if you want. I can update the prescription to have the same power as the glasses. You can take the new prescription back to the other place to have them replace the lenses for you for free. Me: Why would they replace it for free? VSC Rep: Because every place gives you a free cut in case of an issue with the glasses. Me: But they [Evelen Optical] didn't do anything wrong. They followed what your doctor prescribed. VSC Rep: They should replace it for free. Me: Is it a state law? Because every business runs it in its way. VSC Rep: Well, they should replace it for free because it is the standard. If they don't, you can have them call me. We just left because it would go nowhere with the conversation. What did Vision Source Copperfield do wrong? (imho) 1. Saying sorry is not admitting you are wrong but acknowledging the trouble you might cause to your customers. 2. Listening to her logic seems like I am on the jury of Johnny Deep's trial during Amber Heard's testimony. 3. They should have re-examined my wife to confirm if Ellie believed the prescription was correct. However, they pushed the issue to (Eleven) optical as Eleven Optical should amend Vision Source Copperfield's error at Eleven's cost. 4. It seems like the doctor office is blaming the pharmacist to give the patients as prescribed for the patient's issue with the drugs. They will never earn our business again. read more

From the receptionist, who was very helpful and kind, to the drs assistants who explained every test and were very professional, to the Drs who provide the best individualized care. When you run into an eyeglass center to have glasses tightened a little, only to have them BROKEN!!!! Not cool! The assistant manager then proceeds to tells me the manager is offering me 40% off frames and 20% off lenses!! NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!! You broke them so you replace them for free!!! After being poorly taped back together and while I'm driving down FM1960 in the middle of 5'OClock traffic, the glasses split apart! Let me tell you there is NOTHING scarier than driving when you cannot see two feet in front of you!! I called the store once I got home safe and demanded for the corporate number AND to have the manager call me!! Trying to wear contacts but because I haven't worn them in months, it's too painful for words. The fact that you are offering only 40% for frames and 20% for lenses when you break them is unacceptable!! Had the associate warned me that this could happen, I would have never had her adjust them!!! Also - when I'm demanding a corporate office number and she cant even provide that with me, you're adding to my level of anger. The ONLY solution is to replace what you broke!! read more

They have a very well designed building. Open and not claustrophobic. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. They have the new fancy machines that take a picture of the inside of your eye. You know the one, it looks like a giant submersible helmet and you kinda look like you're looking into the port hole. The optometrist who saw me was very nice, friendly, knowledgeable and patient. They had a good selection of glasses to choose from. If I remember correctly, they're even somewhat grouped via price range, which is convenient. Excellent service. Very quick and knowledgeable staff. I went in on my lunch break, and they were able to process me in and get me back to see the doctor very quickly. The doctor looked at the scans of my eyes and - although I have no idea of all the equipment they used - it all seemed minimally invasive, but thorough indeed. I decided to try that place bc it's close to my job. I waited 45 mins before I saw a dr for my annual eye exam even though I had an appt. In addition, they called me but didn't leave a msg to let me know my trial pair of contacts had arrived and they didn't call at all to let me know my 6 months supply had arrived. I've finally found a permanent eye doctor/center. The staff is friendly and helpful (In person and on the phone). Dr. Mahmoodpour is very thorough and knowledgeable. I've always had over watery eyes but never had a doctor take the time to explain why and how to fix it until now. She also explained the pictures that they take of the veins behind the eye in great detail and recommended that I see my doctor without even knowing some of my health background. They gave me the wrong rebate twice for my contacts purchase and now it is past the time to submit the correct rebate, costing me $75. Horrible customer service! Afterer standing there for 15 looking for glasses, I walked over to the front desk for help and they didn't bother to get up. I asked for a specific pair of glasses that my co worker had purchased with them but the girls working here didn't bother to get up and help nor guide me. If I can give zero stars I would.... I have made an appointment for my husband and I three weeks in advance for a certain time, but their email reminder notification had the wrong times. When I called them to confirm,they said to ignore the email. The next day I got the same email reminder and spoke with the receptionist again, she confirmed the correct time. Three hours later she called asking if can move my time because the tripled book!!! Excuse me??? I called 3wks to make this appointment and confirmed with them twice and now they want to move me? So unprofessional. In addition I made an appointment for my kids last year. Instead of letting me know that my kids appointment date was too soon for my insurance to cover ( require exactly 1 year to cover routine), I found out only because I called to confirmed. No one called from from office to let me know the insurance wasn't covered until another month! Needless to say I had to reschedule at the last minute.... My family has been coming here for years. We absolutely love the staff. We are always able to get in for an appt. Dr. Nguyen has become my all time favorite. My husband suffers with lots of medical issues and she is actually concerned when talking to him. She does get on to him to make sure he takes his medicine but he needs the push. I've been coming here for years now and they always assist me very quickly there are 3 optometrist and lots of assists have a huge selection on glasses and they are all divided in a price ranges from Gucci, Tom Ford, Prada, in one area to Guess, Cole Hann, and other in another area which I think is a good idea so you don't look out of your budget, however my last visit was around September 20 something and I ordered Some Glasses, Contacts, and some Sunglasses (I ordered the sunglasses because at Sunglass hut they were Prada and 320 and at vision source they were only 290!) so I ordered all of these in sept and they call me a few days later said my glasses were in so I come in then a couple of days later they call and say my contacts are in and I say to please call me when my sunglasses come in and I'll pick up everything at once two weeks pass, and nothing so Saturday on the 10/7/17 I come in and ask if everything is here to pick up they give me my contacts and says they're looking for my sunglasses and ask me to sit 20 minutes pass and I ask if they found them and one of the assistants kept saying they are looking for them I wait longer a total of 40 minutes & like the place isn't that big either you have them or you don't & I was really annoyed I kept asking do I need to come back or what and they said "they're looking" it was super annoying at the end I just said to call me when they find them it's just unprofessional I paid in full when I ordered everything and they should've ordered everything right then and there but they must have not ordered the sunglasses Because it's been over 2 weeks read more

Do you despise paying for a product and not getting it in a reasonable time? I understand lenses have to be sent off to a lab to be created. That's not the issue. It's when you allow the 5-7 days to go by and you don't hear back that's frustrating. What's more, is the excuses you get from the Vision Source and somehow it turns into your fault. This is twice that it happens to me with two separate (expensive) purchases. If you feel like you should let someone know you're unhappy with the service, don't bother, because it will fall on deaf ears. No one there cares. I picked out my glasses February 25, 2017. I allowed the 5-7 business days and again no follow-up. I received my glasses March 21st (that's 16 business days.) After hearing all the excuses, including the one about how it was my fault, it was all I could take. My 12 year old daughters experience wasn't any better. In her case, the lenses were backordered (never told Me). That was 3 weeks alone. When they finally came in, they got lost! huh?? So had to get ordered again and wait even longer. Offered a $20 off that purchase and the endless excuses. Take your business elsewhere where you'll be appreciated and valued as a customer. read more

The experience was horrible! Save your time and money! I had to wait 2 weeks to get my frames because there employee fail to order what I wanted. When I got my frames they were awful. The frames were defected and the lens were dirty and scratched...so I spoke to the manager Dan, who was very unprofessional( since he is the owners son) refuse to reorder my frames and said if you are unhappy with the frames,go somewhere else where they can provide better service and quality. I tried calling the owner Susan Stubinski which is the mother but she never returned my phone call. This family is very unprofessional. This office experience was outstanding from start to finish. I hate that I cannot remember everyone' names there but the receptionist, Dr. M, and the lady that helped me pick out frames were all great. They were all SME's at their stations so to speak. I was immediately greeted and tended to by the receptionist. She offered very valuable, optional vision screening services. She then took me to a room where I waited maybe 3-5 minutes at most for the Dr. She was very friendly, knowledgeable, and very personable. She was patient and thorough with her explanations of my screening results. At the end of my exam she gave recommendations that would assist in better eye health. I was then walked over to the glasses section where I was greeted by another young lady. She was so extremely patient with my indecisiveness and really helped me to get the best frame for my face.
