I have been to this location twice. And each time we had to wait for 2 hours because they kept forgetting to put my info into the system. But I still waited and understood. I again a few weeks later felt my eyes were getting worse even after the eye exam and wanted another visit. I asked to see a Dr who can help me with the problems I am having. Hoping they would do another exam to see what the problem is. The day I was booked they called and canceled saying the Dr had an emergency. (No worries I understand) so they booked me for two weeks after. They said $45 for the exam I was asking for. I call a day before my 2 week appointment for them to tell me the price went up to $65 and I will have to buy glasses. They also said the Dr I waited 2 weeks to see is booked up so I would not be able to get the check up I was asking for. Even though I was already scheduled twice. This place is very unorganized and with how bad my issue was I needed to see the actual Dr but they were not willing to give me other dates to see him or stick to the schedule they themselves put me on. So I ended up canceling and it is very stressful with having to figure out another way to the problems I am having. Eye problems are not something to push back. The person I was on the phone with also did not try to help but instead said I don't do the scheduling. Also most times you can't even get a person on the phone unless you say you are scheduling a new appointment. read more

Perfect eye Exam George was awesome he helped with what I needed and this store is the new way to shop , Optometrist was virtual and very professional answered all my questions and made everything easy , all equipment is brand new and state of the art . I was really impressed by 2 things at eye lab . 1. The cleanliness everything was disinfected and ready to use. 2. The price was a lot cheaper than other places in the area that I had been using for years I mean a lot cheaper almost 50% less than eye trends. This was my first time coming here and I went in for and glasses and contact test. I went for an eye exam expecting for a doctor to be on the room. However, test was done completely virtual and I was told my prescription had changed completely after having a consistent eye exam for the past 8 years. I decided to go and get an eye exam from a different eye doctor for a second opinion because this was unusual for me and I couldn't see out of the contact that were given to me. The second eyes doctor I went to at another place insured me that my prescription had not changed, And the company made many inconsistencies. On their website, it states, "performed by our independent eye doctors" and "An independent optometrist or ophthalmologist (MD) will evaluate every test result in order to create your vision assessment and write your new prescription", yet my exam was performed by a sales person. How can a sales person give a prescription? Seems like false adverting, and something the Texas Medical Board need to be informed about. If you check My Eyelab on the Better Business Bureau website, you will see many complaints. read more

This place is not good at all I will never go back yes the lady's and gentlemen, that work! There are awesome, but if you're looking forglasses are contacts you will be waiting for months for 3 to 4 months to get your glasses in. This place is not good for service like this. To start, the day of my eye exam was their second day of being open, so I knew there might be a few hiccups. They currently have 4 employees, of which three are nice and outgoing. The employee that did my eye exam basically didn't know what he was doing. Way too many mistakes. In the exam room, it took him a while to get the device in the right position, yet it wasn't right. Part of the exam, he couldn't figure out what was wrong and had to get the store manager. I never saw a licensed doctor in person or virtually. I was told today that part had not been connected when I was there. So, I received an eye exam from a person that is not licensed to give a prescription, yet I received a prescription from a doctor that I did not see. My glasses are to arrive next week, I got two pair on the BOGO offer. Yesterday, I received a phone call saying that my glasses were in and ready to pick up. Yet when I arrive, there is only one pair. The employee explains that some people need their glasses as soon as they arrive. Okay, I understand, yet he never said only one pair was there. I am not in a rush for the glasses, so he could have said only one pair was in, then I would have just waited for the second pair to arrive. They don't let you try the glasses on, they hand them to you in a box, and it's bye. When I got home and took them out, I noticed there was a scratch on the lens. I also checked, and they were not the frames that I ordered. Being frustrated, I called and said I would bring the glasses back and would like a full refund. I told that same employee that I would be there in the morning. Morning comes, the employee calls and leaves a voice message saying that the manager was in a meeting and for me to come after 1:00 PM. I get to the store at around 1:40 only to find out the manager is gone. The employee said I was supposed to be there at 1:00. Hmm As another employee is calling the manager, I asked the one employee why did I receive the wrong frames. He said he scanned the glasses I handed him. Okay, he scanned the brand I wanted, and it shows on the receipt, yet the frames I received are not what was scanned nor what was on the receipt. But he was blaming me for receiving the wrong frames. The nice employee gave me the manager's phone number. I get to the car and call the manager. We had a very nice and business-like conversation. She explained that when she gets in next week, she would issue a refund on everything except the exam. Personally, I do not feel the exam was done properly, and as I said before, there was not a licensed doctor performing any tests in person or virtually. I do not believe the young man that administered the test was qualified to give it, and I am not comfortable with the prescription. Maybe something I should bring up to the Texas Medical Board. Another item that is interesting. When the employee called to let me know the glasses were ready, he instructed me to call when I arrive as I had to come in through the side door. I questioned him, and later the manager about it. Apparently, there is a counter at the door and for everyone that comes in, they are to do an eye exam. What? I have never been to a business doing that. A customer should be able to go to the front door. Make your own decision if you want to do business with My Eyelab. The above is my experience. read more

Literally the worst experience. I called to make an appointment and confirm pricing/specials. Then I get into the office and employees seem disturbed that we were there. She then proceeds to tell me that the prices online are "fake". I ask her to explain and kept talking over me and raising her voice. I proceed to tell her that I called and confirm pricing over the phone less than an hour ago, she says that the call center are all oversees and give wrong pricing. On top of everything they have no eye doctors on sight, they simply send pictures of your eyes to them! Waste of time... I would never recommend this company. read more

The shorter black women that worked there was so rude. The moment we walked in she mumbled to herself "why these people here". She was yelling at other people to wait their turn. They were minorities and did not understand her clearly, there was no need to yell at them. Another person was nice and sat there waiting for help. I came in after him and left before him. What kind of service is this? The 2 for $59 deal is literally a piece of plastic. The prescription was not correct. You have about 10 glasses to choose from as well. So there's no selection. They do not tell you this until after you've already had your eye exam. The eye doctor isn't even there. It's a virtual visit. Not to mention the shorter lady also did not have her mask on both times we walked in there and waited until she was right in front of us to grab a mask. Was kind of skeptical coming to a new eye care place but was very happy I tried them out! They have someone on the screen who performs your exam which is nice being we are dealing with COVID! They have many options for glasses and even with the special allowed me to get a more expensive frame and didn't charge me!
