The doctor was great and covered all issues thoroughly during the exam. However when I went out to reception to go through pricing, I stated twice I only wanted to go with options covered by insurance and she continued to push me towards paying for services out of pocket which were about $2,500. She said if I only went with options covered by insurance it wouldn't help me. She said well the options covered by insurance will only improve your condition by 20% so I said ok then why would I get both those prescriptions. So I opted to get a second opinion. I also went to get glasses a week prior and after hearing the $270 total after insurance I decided to look elsewhere and found better brand frames with the same features for only $140 at Premier Vision who took $175 off with my same insurance, this office only took $100 off as stated by a different employee. Premier Vision also gives you 20% off and $25 off if you follow their socials. Just feels like this office is trying to take your money instead of working with you.

Selecting the right glasses was also a breeze and the optician who helped me was very friendly but I have one complaint, and that is you all need to at least inform me when you are experiencing a delay or issue with my eyeglasses. I had to have someone on my behalf contact you all as I was unable to contact them myself. And please try to provide an estimated time in a timely manner because it has been over three weeks since I had placed my order... I really need my glasses soon. All I ask is for better communication between you all, the lab that makes the glasses, and me, the patient. Thank you. Edit-- I received an update on the glasses and it turned out that there was an issue with the anti glare coating not passing inspection, which is completely understandable. After all, they need to make sure everything is up to par. I'm glad they took that extra step to make sure my glasses would be not only up to my standards but up to theirs. And I'm pretty impressed by that attention to detail. Now I'm looking forward to getting my glasses!

Very disappointed with this office. Their website clearly states they offer pediatric care, and I…read morescheduled an appointment for my child accordingly. They even called to confirm the appointment, and I made sure to provide my daughter's date of birth at that time. We showed up for the appointment only to be told they could not see her. This is incredibly unprofessional. If the doctors on staff aren't able to see pediatric patients, that's something that should have been addressed before we showed up--especially since I was transparent about her age. A simple phone call to clarify would've saved us time and frustration. I won't be returning, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for reliable pediatric care.

I appreciated that as I could see they were not taking any risks. The staff was very patient and kind to my daughter who is pretty hyper. The doctors were also very patient and both doctors met with my kid because of her condition. I felt like they really cared and were genuinely good doctors who didn't rush us out the door. Also, we were not rushed or pressured to get all the add ons for the lenses. It was more of an option and they had exactly what insurance would cover and how much so I could make a decision. The glasses will be done in 5-10 business days. I did ask if we could try to rush it and they said they would definitely try.

I went here as Visionworks is my husbands job preferred vision center and this is the optometrist…read moreattached to it. This would not have been my first choice, however I went with it. First, they try to sell you on this additional dilation exam for an extra like $50-60 that is cash pay only. I kept pushing the issue and wasn't told until the optometrist came in (my third point of contact during my visit) that I was told that there is an option to have the test done and that insurance DOES cover it, but you have to get eye drops instead of the other method. Different process, same results...ones free and one isn't. I don't like it when businesses do things like this. Give me my options up front and let me decide. Secondly, I don't like the fact that they deal with patients eyes without gloves. This is extremely unsanitary and I was grossed out when the tech that administered my eye drops had long fake nails and touched my face/eye lids with no gloves. And I was more shocked that the doctor came in and did the same. They did both get a squirt of hand sanitizer, however THAT IS NOT ENOUGH when dealing with someone's body, especially EYES. I am also in the wellness field and I would never disrespect myself or clients by not wearing gloves. I get that it is an additional expense to purchase so many gloves, however passing norovirus or RSV is also expensive. Almost all the techs had long fake nails and no gloves in sight. Staff very friendly, however I will drive further in the future to find another Visionworks.
