I've called multiple times trying to schedule an appointment, but my calls were repeatedly ended. I was told they were having internet issues, but that explanation was very frustrating considering what happened afterward. Another person and I called around the same time. They answered her call and were able to schedule her an appointment, while they did not answer my call when I called the office number. The voicemail also specifically says to leave a message with your phone number so someone can call you back. I left a message, but I never received a call back. When I finally did speak with someone, I felt that the receptionist was extremely rude toward me, and I also felt that the doctor was rude during the call. I was calling because I was experiencing eye pain and was simply trying to get an appointment. I don't feel that I should have been treated that way, especially as a previous patient. I also want to mention that since receiving care at this office, I've noticed that my vision has gotten worse. I can't say what caused the change in my vision, but it is something I've personally experienced and it has added to my concerns. At this point, I will be looking elsewhere for my eye care. I understand that offices can be busy and that technical issues happen, but patients should still receive basic communication, professionalism, and respect--especially when they are calling because they are experiencing pain. I was shocked that he was able to get high-end glasses at such an affordable price. They were able to book him an eye exam appointment for the next day, and within 24 hours of dropping into the store he was able to walk out with prescription Ray-Ban's that had anti-reflective lenses. Im so grateful that Lily convinced him to take the eye exam. It was his FIRST ever exam, and he turned out to have an astigmatism. He has struggled to drive and read on the computer for years, but I always thought he was being lazy or making excuses. However after being in the eye exam, I can't stress enough the importance of getting checked out. EVERYONE SHOULD COME TO FARO'S OPTOMETRY! I highly recommend it.
